A nice breeze rolled across the harbor, billowing the sails and causing flags to undulate softly. "The wind is in favor of sailing today." Princess Mizuki commented to herself. Drawing in a deep breath, she savored the smell of the salt on the air. Wind ruffled her hair as it swept in from the ocean. It would not be long before her family was to leave. Sailors and soldiers alike darted about the harbor in preparation for their departure. Everyone was working to ensure the royal family's comfort and security on their journey. Only the fastest and mightiest of the ships had been chosen to take them to Viypa, where there was business to attend.
Her mother's words echoed in her mind once more. My input on an alliance with Obsidia? What could need my thoughts on it? It was strange, to say the least, to be brought into negotiations in such a manner. Very few instances called for the opinions of the royal children, and most of those would be considered trivial. Yet her mother seemed entirely serious and foreboding in a sense. "Princess Mizuki, shall I take your luggage aboard?" Captain Tenma approached with a deep bow to the teenager, one arm outstretched to receive her items. "Thank you, Captain." She blinked as she focused on the older man before offering a smile and a light bow. Handing him her bags, she continued, "I would be grateful if you would. Mother and Father should be along shortly. I am not certain where the Prince is at the moment, however.""I am certain he will be along. He has quite the spirit about him." The captain jested, a deep chuckle emanating from him. "I shall attend to your luggage and return topside. I am certain by then Her Highness and His Highness will have arrived and we can be underway."
Underwater Breath- Mizuki is capable of breathing within water easily. This ability allows her to remain submerged underwater for extended periods of time, without receiving any ill effects. However, she must eventually come up for air or risk drowning like anyone else. The maximum time she can remain underwater is 2 hours and she cannot utilize this power in tainted, unclean bodies of water.
Yosojutsu: Healing- Her inherent gift with water is strong enough to where she is able to use it the element to heal nearly any injury or malady. Though, depending on the severity of the problem, she can overexert herself and become fatigued to the point of immobility, sometimes even unconsciousness.
Water Cloak- Mizuki can encase her body in a cloak of water. It is undetectable to the naked eye or even to the touch, acting as a second skin of sorts. It is usually only utilized in fights where fire is being used as it provides a greater resilience against the opposing element. Fire can eventually harm her, but it takes an intense amount of heat and time to do so. While the cloak is strong against most elements, it does possess a weakness against sharp weapons and electricity. Things such as blades, arrows, and spears can pierce through the protection of the cloak to inflict harm.
Yosojutsu: Combat- Mizuki is proficient in elemental combat, being able to manipulate water, ice, and occasionally snow to do her bidding on a second's notice. Her proficiency in the elemental style of combat continues to grow with each passing year. However, as with all elements, there are some that can easily overpower her own. Electricity presents the greatest disadvantage to Mizuki in combat. Water being a natural conductor, electricity can pass through it with ease and inflict damage upon anyone or anything that water or its variants come into contact with. She has to be vigilant when fighting Electricity users so as not to sustain injury. Air, although not as difficult to counteract, possesses its own challenge. A user with advanced skills in air manipulation can block, evade, and even incorporate her own element into their attack.
Yami Umi- An enchanted sword that was given to Mizuki as a present from one of her family members. It holds the ability to purify any tainted source of water that it touches. Yami Umi, as the sword was named, can only purify through touch however, and it can only do so once in a day. If it were to be used more than that, then the sword itself could become tainted and expel the polluted water back into the world. Aside from this, the sword acts as a weapon for her use in combat.
