Not sure who else may have heard about this but I saw an article today about a Korn fan that got the crap beat out of them in Atlanta during the Family Values Tour concert.

But I don't ******** care. I'm going to go see Dir en grey anyway. I figure that maybe the guys have enough respect to not hit girls, but if other girls start something... I won't hesitate to defend myself.
It's those kind of people I really dislike. Why can't they just tolerate other peoples' musical preferences? -.-;;
Personally, I don't care for Korn, but I'm not gonna beat the s**t out of someone just because they like them. Hell, even if it were the other way around and I was there for Korn and not Diru, I wouldn't beat someone up for liking a band I didn't.
No, it wasn't a Diru fan. The news was a day or two old and I don't think they join the tour until sometime this month
But the fact that it happened is disgusting, and the fact that the rumors are going around about our fandom being targeted is just plain stupid

I have been living in south florida now for 7 years and i have been to so many hardcore/punk shows and i know how brutal the pits can be!!

i also know how close midned people will be about diru and i am going to FVT just for them. I know that people are going to laugh at me and point me out when i'm singing their songs and trying to get back to meet them but i don't care. but belive that if they try to hurt me they will be the ones going home with broken noses not me
scream it's just something that isn't going to change really. you play a hardcore song you want to hit something. and even though korn and deftones and stones sour aren't really hard core it's still rock and brings up the desire to pit. and thats where it should stay you know
