Get out your Papyrus and ink! Name: Harakhty; meaning- Horus of the two horizons Personality: Born of two worlds, Harakhty struggles with who he feels he is destined to be and who he truly dreams to be. He sees the wanton life that his mother leads in stark contrast to the structured and predictable one of his father. Two destinies vastly divergent, and yet intricately entwined. Both of which call to him in their own ways. Harakhty takes great pride in being the first born male heir to a great and powerful king. The opportunities that affords, in conjunction with possessing a nurturing and caring family, is something that he cherishes immensely. Yet, at the same time, the wanderlust of his mother flows through his veins. The vast unknown calls to his soul, beckoning him to journey and experience life untamed. However, it is a call he is reluctant to answer for fear of disappointing his father. To choose a life of rules and composure, of regal stature and political affairs? Or to choose the road of the wanderer, a path with no boundaries or imposed limits? This internal conflict is ultimately Harakhty’s greatest challenge in life. Despite his constant uncertainty, Harakhty does have a rambunctious and happy nature. He enjoys spending time with all members of his family, actively taking time out of his day to play or simply be near them. No moment is too insignificant as he cherishes each precious second. Harakhty can come off as a bit overbearing and protective at times though. Everyone outside of the family is considered untrustworthy until proven otherwise to him. While he maintains a respectful demeanor, it is not above him to push an individual to determine their true intentions. Those unlucky and stupid enough to cross him or his family will feel his regal wrath. However, those with pure hearts will find themselves treated as any other member of the family. His ability to suss out friend from foe is something that Harakhty highly values of himself. There are many other traits that can describe Harakhty as well. Whimsical, studious, playful, mischievous, caring, gentle- these are just some of the other aspects to his personality. But none are more prominent than his capacity for living and loving deeply. Likes/Disslikes: Likes: Tales of far off lands and civilizations, studying the stars, storytelling (something he is extremely good at), learning to lead with grace and dignity, free time to entertain himself and/or his friends, understanding who he is, sweet treats Dislikes: Having his free time intruded upon, too many rules and formalities, cheaters and being manipulated, not knowing what his destiny is, storms Plot/RP Ideas?: 1. The Deck- Harakhty is a foal born into privilege. He wants for very little, appearing to have everything that he could ask for. He has a loving family, a stable home, and he holds immense potential. From the moment he pops from his basket, it seems clear what his path shall be for he is destined to become great. But Harakhty isn’t so certain. He feels as if there is more out there yet he cannot leave, bound by his duties and role as male heir. Perhaps a discussion with his father, aunt, and siblings might help. *Note* This plot would involve multiple RPs (or background discussions at the very least) with various individuals of the family. It is the most extensive plot since it deals with his internal conflict about his destiny and all that entails. 2. The Trap Card- Harakhty has grown in both height and maturity. While he still struggles with his destiny, he has developed into a calm and intuitive stallion. His responsibilities have continued to grow throughout this time as well. He has recently been entrusted with brokering a trade agreement with a traveling herd. It seems easy enough, but Harakhty feels that something is amiss. Most feel his suspicions are unfounded and prod him to proceed with the meeting. Not wishing to bring dishonor to his family, the young stallion prods onward, though he secretly sets about to learn more of the herd. There are some things worth knowing in the end. *Note* This plot is based on the general idea of Atemu being a pharaoh and leading as such. It can be altered and adapted to better fit the family, as needed. 3. Defense Mode- An ill wind blows across the lands. A devious rival plans an attack on the family, hiring some unsavory characters to exact revenge for a supposed slight (namely that Harakhty exists at all). Harakhty must fight for all that he is worth or risk losing those he loves most. *Note* This plot relies on the pharaoh aspect as well. I thought it might be interesting for Harakhty to obtain an enemy/rival due to his father’s past. 4. The Heart of the Cards- All of his life, Harakhty has believed in destiny and fate. That there was one path he must choose to walk, abandoning the other. Recently, however, someone has come along to challenge that perception. They speak of the winds, of change and chance. That destiny is what you make it to be and not merely something set in stone. It is what you feel in your heart of hearts. The challenge for Harakhty is- what is he truly deep down? *Note* This plot might span more than one RP, and evolve into further plots based around any developing love. I wanted to leave things more open-ended though to allow for a more collaborative process with others in the family. Also, the RP response below is loosely based on this idea. RP Prompt Response Harakhty lay at edge of the river’s banks, the moon glistening high above him. A chill filled the night air which signaled the winter soon to come. “What should I do?” He found himself asking the large silver sphere above. “I am lost more than ever.” And in more ways than one. The thought pervaded his waking hours, lashing out at every opportunity. Harakhty knew that no answer would come. It never had. Only silence would fill his ears, giving ample time for insecurities to sprout further. With a heavy sigh, he shook his head to stave them off. If only he could have been more adept like his father, instead of attempting to be more carefree like his mother. Perhaps then he would have noticed the unstable ledge before taking a tumble and being swept down river. When Harakhty finally pulled himself from the water’s clutches, he knew that he had traveled further than ever before, and gotten himself sufficiently lost in the process. A derisive snort escaped from his nose. “Of course, I would manage a feat such as this. Perhaps I am indeed born to live a sheltered life…” He spoke the last with a hint of sadness. While he had yet to discover his true destiny, the young stallion held out hope that he might be suited for a life among the wilds. His mother filled his head with stories of vast lands and wondrous places. Harakhty held onto her every word, closing his eyes to picture each scene as she described it. He could do so even now. As much as he longed for it, he knew that it would likely never be. For his heritage possessed its own siren song. “My destiny is as unclear to me as ever. Just as my path home is shrouded in mystery.” Leaves rustled as a gentle wind blew through the trees, the sound like a soft lullaby of lament. “Perhaps you place too much emphasis on destiny.” A faint voice whispered from amongst the trees. Harakhty jumped at the sound and quickly looked around. There was no one to be seen. “Who-who’s there?” “The path of life is full of twists and turns, to be certain.” The mysterious voice continued. “We can either choose to stay still and let these coils confound us, or we can walk the path with grace and dignity.” The young stallion frowned at these words as he rose to his feet. “But how am I to navigate such a thing if I cannot determine even the simplest of things? How am I to know who I am to be if I do not even know what I wish to be? And how do I reach such a conclusion without hurting either my father or mother?” “Ah, but you already have the beginning of your answer.” The voice cooed. “Simply because you perceive something to be done in one way, does not mean that is the only way. There are many roads to travel, young Prince. All of which lead home.”As the breeze began to fade away, so too did the voice that had spoken to Harakhty. “So there is still hope for me then?” There was no response to his question, though he did not expect there to be. Nonetheless, the young stallion felt more at ease and better aware of himself. But who had been the one speaking to him? That would remain a mystery a while longer, only becoming clear in the not-so-distant future. Nobody had seen him fall into the river, nor did an exhaustive search turn up anyone. Confusion written on his features, Harakhty returned to the water. The silvery light of the moon danced across the surface, projecting an eerie glow onto him. “I am not certain on many things. But I am certain of this- I cannot remain here and wallow in self-pity. My family is awaiting me at home and I will not leave them to worry. I will return whence I came.” He shifted on his feet, gazing over his shoulder and into the woods. “We shall see if what you say is true, wraith. We shall see what is in…the Heart of the Cards.” Harakhty held his head high as he strode away, his feet falling with purpose as he made his way home. The last of his words carried with the wind to echo behind him, a challenge to both the stranger and himself.

Get out your Papyrus and ink! Name: Imhotep means "he comes in peace" Personality: Hiding in pots until someone goes to find him, running off instead of lessons on royalty, playing pranks and teasing his sisters, he is every much the wild and untamed force a child tends to be. He will defend his sisters at all costs because, let's face it, he is the only one who can pick on them. He is very much his mother's son wandering off and looking for trouble until he begins to mature to become the prince that will make his family proud. As he grows older he will slip into a more regal warrior with Thesh-Ah's guidance and his father's blessings. He will still wander to learn and see things with his own eyes instead of through stories. Though he will carry himself as royalty, he will never look down upon others. For what is a king without his people? Likes/Disslikes: Likes: warmth of both his home and the lands he travels, green (his favorite color), stories with magic (each tale holds some truth) Dislikes: snow (it is cold wet sand), dishonesty (to oneself and others), raccoons (they have THUMBS) Plot/RP Ideas?: As he goes from rebellious teen (think Mana from the series while he is young still) to an adult I'd like Thesh-Ah to teach him the code of the warrior and the ways of a knight. For him to gain the knowledge and strength to protect what he calls his. For him to go out in the world and find both the people he would protect and the people he would stand against (my stallion Savva most likely becoming a rival). RP Prompt Response
It had started as a game, but all bad choices start as games it seemed. Imhotep had run and continued running until he found himself lost. He didn't want to be reprimanded for trying to have fun and now that the fun was gone he was almost...scared. The wind here was cold, the sun hidden by branches that looked more like plant zombies, and the ground hard under his hooves.
"Father? Mother?" poor Imhotep called to no avail. Nothing but the chill wind answered him. He was alone. His mother would have kept going, his father would have looked back, and Imhotep stood frozen. He was not like his mother, reckless and wild as the wind. But he was not like his father, competitive and brave in the face of every villain. He turned back, nostrils flaring with nerves. What would they think of him now?
"Be brave in the face of adversity," he stated stamping a hoof. A flash of gold caught his eye. His father was waiting for him. He must have followed. Ears back and head low, the colt returned to his father's warm side to be lead home.
"I'm sorry," he muttered as he fell in step with Atemu. And he was sorry in that moment. Running would not be an answer. He knew this now.

Get out your Papyrus and ink! Name: Astennu Personality: At first meeting, Astennu can come off as some one lacking intelegence, or even a little.... dence where important things aere concerned. In fact, he is far from the ditz fascade he shows on a daily basis and more than likely to fnd what upper hand (or hoof as it were) he might haveon some one knew to him and use it to his advantag. His nature is first to be kind and honorable as you can always be nasty later if needed. His word is his and good honor and should he ever be forsworn a shame unlike any would hang over him (a trait he likely picked up from his time with Thesh-ah growing up). He's the type stallion who'd die for those he cared deeply about, and as such would gladly do everything he could to keep them safe from harm. With a contageous smile and up beat, personality, he can be quite diplomatic and even a bit competative. He likes a good adventure and making new and exciting discoveries, games all sorts of games and trickery if he thinks he can get one up on some one. While he's not exactly a lazy bum, he's not what you'd call the biggest stick in the mud. He likes the unexpected and the feeling that comes from getting one's hooves dirty and finishing something with your on their own merit Likes/Disslikes: Likes: Family, Friends, honor and keeping one's word/oath, Adventures Ditlikes: Sore loosers, closed boarders, cheats, liars, and failing to protect those he cares most for. Plot/RP Ideas?: As a foal:Family interactions: Not a real big shocker, I like for my foals to interact with the siblings, families and grow in comradery and compedativeness. Little leader: As a foal I want him to gain some leadership skills, it'll be a tiral of a task to make some decisions and face the consequesces be they good or ill for his decisions. How he reacts to these things will help him to grow later on. First big advnture: I want him to strike out t a young age, sek some new, never before seen (to him that is) things. What does he find? who does he meet along the way? I want to indulge this side of him just as much as I would the other. As an adult:Nefarious plots: As the title sugests, it's a plot for an bad things to happen. Some one has attmpted assassination on the young stallion. This plot will follow how he handles things, those he looses and how he learns and grows from the event. RP Prompt Response Prompt #2: The adventure had started all because he'd been bored, with no one wanting to play and no one watching him too closely. Cought up in the rush of it all, he didn't realize that he was going too far from where his family had been. He ran further and further till he was out of breath and had to stop to catch it. As he drew each ragged breath, trying to will his pulse back into a calmed state. It felt at his heart were trying to crawl up his throat and out his mouth to continue to race forward. Folding his ears back against his head he looked around timidly. "Hello?" He piped up meekly. Stepping forward, he turned around. Where was he? Lost, that's where he was. Nothing looked familliar at all. Which way was the way home? The realization was both a little frightening and exciting. The unknown factor was great, but it held that edge of fear; that part of him that told him that if anything were to happen, he was all alone. He had to get home before something happened; only, where was home? He set back the way behind him. This should take him back, right? At the very least he should start to recognize things he'd already passed. Mybe this tree, or that bush; how about that rock, hadn't he passed that rock twice now? Stopping a moment, he pawed at the ground in frustration. Why couldn't he just find a way home? Maybe the problem was he'd taken a wrong turn? Determined to get home, he set off once more and took the path less travled. He walked passing trees and bushes for what seemed like hours till he came apon something that looked like pictures, drawings on a rock slab. It intrigued him. How had such pictures come to be? Tentatively, he follored the rock side and pictures looking at first one then the other. He knew this wouldn't lead him home.. but... how could he pass up the oppertunity to see these? He couldn't it was just simple. Even as the sun started to dip in the sky, he was facinated by the pictures and what they could mean. Following them into a cavern, he looked around. What splendors awaited him in this cavern? Only time could tell, sadly time wasn't on his side ths day. He still had to get back to his family before he was too terribly missed. Well, maybe just a little longer. He entered the cave, looking at the walls as he wandered inside. Bones riddles the cave's floor, obviously something had died here. A voice behind him gave him a start. "So this is where you ran off to?" Turning, he saw Thesh-ah standing at the mouth of the cave. "Well? Come along, we don't want your father starting to worry over you." Mumbling a soft apology, he fell into step behind the spooky looking mare. Some day, he'd have to remember the cave and pictures and return.

Get out your Papyrus and ink! Name: Amun Ra (hidden light) Personality: as a foal he will be skittish and nervous and will hide behind his mothers 'skirts' it will take him a long time to realise he can be as brave and independent as his parents but eventually he will become a confident adult. Likes/Disslikes: likes : all things shiny, especially the sun, enjoys sunbathing. Dislikes : The dark, shadowed places. Plot/RP Ideas?: 1. Being the only boy in the family he will feel a little intimidated by the girls around him. Trying to overcome this he does some frivolous things to try and prove he is as strong and independent as his sisters he will fail spectacularly and with little or no success he will become introverted. (This will involve a few rps where he just can't seem to do anything right) 2. Finding himself to be lacking in leadership skills he becomes dependant upon his parents to tell him what to do. Thinking this is probably not for the best his mother or father decide to shoo him out on his own to get some independence. 3. During this journey to independence he will get kidnapped / used by a stronger, less friendly pony. 4. Will finally realise he isn't a little foal any more and that he is actually a pretty strong horse, will break free of this kidnapper and strike out to find his family, finally discovering the 'hidden light' that his parents saw in him. RP Prompt Response
The shadows pulled at his coat, darkness seeped in to his eyes and clouded his mind. Fear, fear was supposed to be an emotion you could overcome, it was supposed to be something that you could walk away from, something you could face alone, alone, that was what he was, alone, lost.
The pull of the unknown, of adventure had drawn him in to the shadows of the close knit forest. His mother always spoke so fondly of the world around them, of the places she had explored and though he had no real want to leave the safety and comfort of his family the little tug of curiosity had pulled him in to the woods.
Now, well now he was lost. The unknown world around him tugged at his subconscious, he couldn't remember which way he had come, the branches he had walked past were gone and the familiar meadow where his family grazed was long out of sight. The oppressive darkness that pressed at his back made him shiver. He wasn't at all like his mother, she would face this strangeness without a moments thought, she would stride in to the fear and face it head on, he wasn't even like his father, brave and able to face any adversity, a great leader.
He couldn't fathom what to do, his young mind slowly started to peer inwards as he found himself pressed in to the base of a massive oak tree. Lowering himself to his belly he lay down, ready to give up. A great breeze blew above him and past the shadows a bright, brilliant light touched his nose. The sun was still there. Above all of those shadows it was there calling him home, he just had to be brave and let his hooves guide him.
Mustering every ounce of courage he concentrated on the suns golden rays and turned his tail back towards home. The shadows lightened as he heard the call of his mother, her dulcet tones pulling him in the right direction, his young, tired legs pulling him resolutely towards the safety of family. This was certainly enough of an adventure for him, at least for today, maybe in the future he would explore but that would be a long way away, he didn't want to be alone and lost it was far too scary.

Get out your Papyrus and ink! Name: Tutankhamun Personality: Tut is a proud little boy. He enjoys his time with his father, learning of the past and of their ancestors. He's also playful and fiesty, enjoying bugging his mother and older sister, Tyler, time to time. He likes to bug Tyler and try to decipher her puzzles. He also tries to be a negotiator, like auntie Thesh-ah. Likes/Disslikes: likes: family, happiness, trickery dislikes: being the youngest Plot/RP Ideas?: He's going to get into trouble, find a familiar (bird probably), and get into disputes with his sisters. RP Prompt Response Tut stared into the woods, trying to find his way out. The colt was nervous, and he was alone. Today, he was supposed to be with Thesh-ah, but he saw a bird that flew into the woods, as if it was calling him. But now it was gone and the soquili was lost. Scared even. "Auntie! Rodrick!" he called out, hoping his aunt or her bird would hear him. Nothing. Hours, minutes passed, until he was greeted by Tyler's worried face. "Sister!" he screamed in joy, racing towards the familiar mare.

Get out your Papyrus and ink! Name: Iah : means moon Personality: Iah does what needs to be done, with little complaint. Protective of his older sisters and almost as competitive as their father. Likes/Disslikes:Likes: Family, adventures, winning Dislikes: Lies, losing, evil Plot/RP Ideas?:Blown off course He is on an adventure to find someone/thing, and gets pulled away from the main course. Losing is winning He finds a new game to play, only to win you have to lose. It is the worst game for him ever, because he has the hardest time not winning the main parts of the game. RP Prompt Response Iah looked at each of his parents. They confused him to no end, with how different they are, yet had him and his sisters. After watching them, he could see how they could work out, but not for long. He loves his mothers carefreeish ways and knows that she does care for her children. Iah plans to go exploring once he is old enough and find the adventures his mom told him about as a foal. Iah respects his father. The courage and respectable way he carries himself, Iah wants to be like him after he goes on a few adventures. If he can, he wouldn't mind being a leader someday.

Get out your Papyrus and ink! Name: Menesi Personality: silly loyal and smart Likes/Disslikes: Likes: Would be to say jokes while making others smile and laugh He also is the type of boy to be out there to learn and gather knowledge from what he hears His loyality is beyond question and something he is proud to say he is He likes to play cards as he sees it as a means of him using his mind He likes stories but dislikes if he cant pinpoint the true origin of the story He also does not mind and likes to be the one underestimated in a sort of way to prove what he really is like. He loves to be in all types of climates and eat variety of foods Dislikes: The appearance of things with no true pinpoint of origin or knowledge Also he does not like the dark and or what is again unknown He dislikes sweet things He does not like others who are grumpy or moody because whats the fun of being around them if they are not going to laugh He doesn’t like to be alone at times Plot/RP Ideas?: Some rp ideas I have for him would be for him to meet and travel with my walker adelmar who has a thing for protecting others and if they are one to seek out knowledge he too does that so he accepts those who are like him. I also would like him to have a relationship with both his parents for the support and guidance to him becoming his own persona I would also like for an rp as to prove and show why he fears the dark and to not be alone this would be needed for his own persona again to be shown I would like for him to fall in love on his own terms and to continue his bloodline and be able to find a female who accept him for who he is I would also like for him to meet others who may be happy and listen to his jokes and those who are grumpy as so he could get out and meet others to further his own character development Lastly he needs to come to understand what and why some things have a point of origins such as in stories and other things like in history and why other things don’t have such a point of origin to be actual truth. Also he sees he is indeed his fathers heir and is mentally ready to become the prince he should be but this only occurs after so much travel he takes on and the knowledge he has gained RP Prompt Response #2: You have gotten a little lost in the woods one day what happens? Menesi was wondering the forest one day as a young foal. His mother has chosen the forest as a fieldtrip he remembered her telling his father. When Menesi knew the real reason it was a excuse on her part for her to take a break from being mom and get a small adventure in while teaching her children a bit of the forest life. As they wondered Menesi had said to his mother he wanted to try understanding a monster card and so he would take a quick break and lay against the tree. At this point Blake came up to her young son and said don’t be too long. Nightfall will be here soon and so if you are to take the fieldtrip for all it gives then catch up with us. I will wait with your sisters by the end of the forest. Once you finish catch up with us there. Menesi had nodded and promised he would meet his mother than. Which is what is when he layed by the tree and yet as he lay for a few moments Menesi explored the card and found it interesting the information he gathered. He then took a quick look around the forest marveling at trees that he saw around him. After his quick tour he took Menesi gathered back to the tree and decided to take a quick nap after some time he could sense that he had slept probably too long and it was now beginning to get dark. Menesi then got up and began heading back to where his mother would be as he walked he noticed and appreciated the stars and light out in the sky. Yet this was when an ominous cloud appeared and loomed in the sky again Menesi felt that presence it just could not leave and he knew he was alone. So what was this presence why could it not be explained this frightened him and as he turned he saw his mother and ran to be by her side. Since then this unexplained feeling was the start of why Menesi feared the dark.

Get out your Papyrus and ink! Name: Ra-Mei Personality: A reserved little bugger, he would rather have others do his chores then himself. He is his father's son, but with two lively sisters, its hard to get a moments peace to himself. Even being the youngest of the three, Ra-Mei was always in the libraries, nosing through dusty old scrolls and parchments. While he couldn't understand what was written upon them, the symbols interested him. Outside the walls, Ra-Mei pours himself into the things living around him, flowers, birds and insects. He's kind of a closed up individual, but he has a good heart if its sometimes not in the right place. Likes/Disslikes: Living things, Silence and learning // His sisters to a point, Death/destruction of living things, himself sometimes. Plot/RP Ideas?: Dusty Tome: Ra-Mei takes a quest to search for an old scroll or text for his growing collection, along the way meeting others who might or might not know what he is talking about. Its all an adventure.
Others I am not sure, life's paths are never straight and his is sure to curve in many unexpected ways.
RP Prompt Response
Stories, tales and fantasies, these were things that Ra-Mei took into consideration of the world. The one that his mother spoke of at night to he and his older sisters. They seemed to hang on the words she spoke, but Ra-Mei looked at things in a different light. How things happened and how they ended. His nights were spent pondering the different paths and and ways things could have gone. With his nose always in the collection of scrolls and parchments in the readers hall, Ra-Mei never took things in a single light. It wasn't that he was scared of these stories though it did make him want to read up on them the day after. He was how ever interested in things that foals often took for granted.
"one day I shall go out there and see if these factors in Mom's stories are true." ra-Mei vowed on sunny afternoon. "I want to see these mountains, these Skinwalkers that she had to dodge. I want to learn it all."
he didn't know how true his words would someday become. Even now he studied and read what little he could. The elders around teaching him and his sisters, if they so wished, lessons of the world around them. Ra-Mei always looked forward to traveling the lands and expanding his own horizons, perhaps someday his father might come along as well. Who knew. Only the fates and time would know, it was going to be an interesting life.
