- Wax Production - Joseph is able to produce almost limitless wax, he can then excrete this either through his hands as a projectile or stream. He can also secret it through his skin as armour. The wax he produces is no hotter than normal candle wax however once it sets it becomes almost as hard as steel.

- The wax he produces is weak to flame, and a persistent heat will be able to melt it.
While his wax does set quite quickly, it is not instantaneous.

➳ How do they act?
- There are two sides to joseph; the side that he shows to his family and the side he shows to his victims. To his family and colleagues he is a warm and loving family orientated man with a big heart and all the time in the world for them. He plays the part well or so he likes to believe. His victims see a completely different side to him; he is a cold and calculating monster who takes pleasure in seeing them suffer. He his selfish and cruel, with a hint of megalomania. He likes to be in control and if questioned or challenged gets defensive before resorting to his powers.

- Joseph was born at five past midnight on the fourteenth of September. It had been a difficult birth for his mother and it was only after they had opened her up during the caesarean that they began to understand why. Joseph had coated himself in a thick wax shell and had made it physically impossible for her to have pushed him out. Complications during the birth created by, in no small part, her son caused the woman to sadly lose her life. His father, an unstable man to begin with, kidnapped his son in the middle of the night and took him up to the roof, where he intended to throw them both off, but before that could happen a nurse found them and in the scuffle that ensued his father ended up falling to his death. Orphaned within the space of twelve hours since coming into the world, Joseph was handed to the state and put into care, he was adopted almost a day later and found a home with a pair of retired teachers who couldn’t have children of their own.
Joseph grew up as the centre of attention, he learned early on what he needed to do and say to get people on his side and found that it was easy to manipulate people into doing what he wanted. All he had to do was say the right thing and wait. While he had never been told about what had happened to his real parents, he grew up happy, he didn’t need someone around who would leave him anyway. He had found out pretty early that he had gifts that none of his peers possessed, but rather than flaunt them he hid them away, preferring to let the other children believe that he was one of them instead of some kind of freak. His childhood was eclipsed by one incident which he later used to justify his way of life. When he was sixteen, he and several of his friends decided to go into the woods to camp. It was just going to be a relaxing break during the summer. He had a bit of a crush on one of the girls who was going and was planning on asking her out, however she had been leading him on and was about to learn the hard way what she really thought of him.
After setting up and gathering enough firewood to keep the fire burning for weeks, Joseph and some of the others went out to explore. In their efforts they found an old abandoned mine entrance and while they all dare each other to go inside, it was only Joseph who got anywhere near. As it was getting dark, they returned to the camp. In their absence a group of college students had rocked up and set up camp, two of them were chatting up the girl he had a crush on and she was enjoying it. Joseph swallowed his rage and tried his level best to ignore it, he was going to ask her out and then everything would be the way it should be. After dinner, he managed to corner the young woman and lure her out of the camp, once they were alone he set about trying to ask her out but as soon as the words were out of his mouth she burst out laughing. Dejected, Joseph left her and wandered about until it was dark. He had convinced himself that she must not have heard him correctly, and all he had to do was explain and she would understand. As he approached her tent, he heard talking from inside and so instead of announcing himself he instead kept quiet and crept closer. Inside he heard the woman talking about him, at first he thought it was just to another one of the carers but it soon became clear that it was one of the college boys from earlier. As she recounted the tale of how Joseph had asked her out a rage started building inside him. He waited outside of her tent all night, listening to her laugh about him, then as it turned more intimate and finally slunk away into the night as the college kid left. The next day, he left a note for her supposedly from the college kid and then organised for the group to split up on a scavenger hunt. While the others raced around the woods, Joseph headed straight for the abandoned mine where he had told the girl to wait. As she sat there, he snuck up behind her and clasped his hand firmly around her mouth, filling it with hot wax. She struggled but wasn’t unable to break free and eventually stopped moving as she suffocated to death.
Joseph returned to the group and continued the hunt as if nothing was wrong. After several hours they all reconvened only to notice that the college students and their missing friend were gone, a coincidence that helped mask the truth behind her disappearance. A Forrest wide manhunt a week later turned up her corpse, her head smashed in that old abandoned mine shaft. The coronary didn’t find anything else out of the ordinary and it was just put down to being an accident. After that, Joseph continued acting like a normal person, he kept a low profile and even went on to become a fire inspector, and he finds the career to be quite humorous considering his ability. On a slightly darker note he also found that the level of trust given to him was ripe for taking advantage of. Since that trip though, Joseph secretly killed and disposed of five people and unlike his first victim though, he has taken to brazenly posing his victims in places where, while unlikely, they could be found.
