                What's their alias?
Codename? God, I've used so many... Ghost? 007? Ah! That's right, you can call me: Guerrero.

                How old are they?
                    I say 54 (I'm actually 120)

                Are they male or female?
                    Male

Are they human or a super?
                    Technically Super

                What's their preference?
Women, the Bond stereotype came from somewhere after all.

What are their powers if they have any?
                    Consummate Survivor

Guerrero possesses a suite of abilities but they are best characterized under the categories:

Enhanced Physical Capabilities: Guerrero possesses physical abilities that go beyond the norm of humanity, furthermore his mind has adapted to these physical changes and thus he can use his capabilities to their fullest extent. This means he is faster, stronger, tougher, and generally superior than any human. That said, his capabilities do not reach supernatural levels and he has encountered individuals that outstrip him in one or more categories. Luckily for him, he has yet met someone who can outstrip him in all categories, a factor that has allowed him to adapt to his many adversaries. It must be noted that his abilities developed in his mid sixties and it is likely that another super with similar capabilities may in fact be stronger as a result of developing their powers during their prime. This is however, merely speculated.

Enhanced Regeneration: Guerrero possesses an accelerated healing process that enables him to regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue with far greater efficiency than an ordinary human. The obliteration of his body would likely result in his death as he cannot regenerate from rogue cells. However, he has managed to survive what would normally be fatal injuries, though the more grievous the wound the more time it takes to heal. Guerrero suspects that the removal or destruction of his head would mean his death but this hasn't been tested. The regeneration is rapid but not instantaneous, and he can be put out of commission during a fight if he sustains enough trauma. The regeneration is so pronounced that it results in Slow Aging. Alexander is quite the old man at 124, yet he retains the appearance of a man in his late 40s to early 50s. Alexander is effectively immune to the ravages of time and in fact may be recovering from it.

Enhanced Vision: Guerrero’s eye abilities make no outward sign of being used, allowing him to use his abilities with none being the wiser, in fact, Guerrero has had a long time to get accustomed to his abilities; he has reached the point that his powers are just as natural for him as breathing. Guerrero can see clearly and precisely over incredibly large distances. Going so far as to be able to read a man’s lips from across a city. Furthermore, he can observe events in a variety of spectra, for example: Guerrero can see clearly in the darkness; to even see heat through infrared or find clues through ultraviolet. He is even a bit of Mind Reader, for body language has a lot to say, if you can read it. Guerrero’s eyesight allows him to read body language to such a degree that he can appear to be reading a person’s mind. As such, lying to Guerrero is nearly impossible, and he benefits from a type of foresight in combat. This is due in part to Alexander's ability to zero in on the slightest of movements, and has over the years learned to extrapolate or discern what might occur because of it.

Accelerated Perception: As a result of his Enhanced Agility, Reflexes and Vision, Guerrero is capable of seeing and reacting to events with startling speed & efficiency. It is surprising that few suspect there is more going on under the surface: Causality Perception. When questioned he likened it to seeing everything moving in slow motion and knowing what steps he needs to take to achieve success. It is this combination of abilities that allows him to perform extraordinary feats such as dodging gunfire in battle zones.

                What are their weaknesses?
Touched upon under powers, but Guerrero's real weakness is time. His physical abilities may surpass any human but a Super possessing supernatural levels of power in any of those given categories would exceed his capabilities. Given enough sustained punishment (such as his head being removed) Guerrero might not be able to recover from it, though to his credit, it hasn't been tested. Finally some of his powers are focused around his vision, if he cannot see, those powers are useless to him. He can be knocked unconscious through sufficient brute force, toxins and poisons have little to no effect and the man hasn't had a cough since 1958.

                How do they act?
                    • Patient & Calculating: Setting plans within plans Guerrero always has contingencies in the case of mishap. In the case he doesn't have a prepared plan, he is more than capable of improvising a gambit. Capable of waiting months, even years for just parts of his plan to fall into place, Guerrero knows the value of patience.
                    • Brilliant & Cunning: With his natural aptitude for plans, schemes, and plots, in addition to his past training and combined with his mutant ability, Guerrero has no difficulties in figuring out what everyone else in the game is planning. Meaning that he can not only account for their plots, but can even use their plan to further his own. Constantly manipulating the field until it he gets something he wants. It's hard to predict just what move would make this man lose...
                    • Charismatic: Charming and sophisticated, Guerrero often exudes a feeling of class and elegance; friendly and polite, he often makes friends easily.
                    • Determined: Guerrero has always been a man to get the job done, whatever the job may be. To do so, he will use just about any means, letting nothing or no one stand in his way. Though he is never pointlessly cruel, having a reason for everything he does, it is fair to say that he is not a nice man. He adheres to a loose code of honor, perhaps loose due to his past as a spy, not an inherently noble profession.

Charming sophisticated secret agent. Yes, I know that's Bond's description but it fits here too. Guerrero will sincerely compliment you on your efforts as he kills you. He doesn't have to strut his stuff because he knows that he's king of the world, one small piece at a time. It's his quiet confidence that ultimately scares you.

                What's their backstory?
Alexander Remington is not Alexander Remington. Well, not like how you and I are you and I. The man was born in the year 1892 in the city of London, England under the name Gareth Macmillan. When he turned 18 he enlisted in the army, where he was trained as a sharpshooter and scout. Four years later would mark the start of The Great War, where Gareth fought in the trenches for England. The activities of Macmillan grew to be infamous, in fact his skilled marksmanship led him to be called "Das Gespenst" The Ghost in German.

Unbeknownst to most, Gareth was tapped alongside six other remarkable individuals prior to the war as intelligence officers. These individuals would become the founding members of what is now MI6. After World War 1 Gareth Macmillan disappeared, having seemingly vanished from the face of the earth. In truth Gareth retired his own identity to adopt a new one for the agency: Edward Remington. Remington is known to have been part of numerous clandestine operations around the world, he was MI6’s go to man.

Officially, no one knew of his existence as MI6 was itself clandestine at the time, but he was their top agent, their best spy. Not all of his missions are known, especially because they were not well documented, not even by MI6. It is known that Remington continued to work for years and was around during World War 2. In fact records found indicate that Edward Remington was deep in enemy territory organizing and directing clandestine operations throughout Europe. His ability to infiltrate enemy occupied territories and acquire sensitive intelligence made him a key asset to the British Government.

Around the very end of the WWII, Remington was allegedly captured and taken to an interment camp in Asia. Images found show a wounded Remington being abused and toyed with by amused Japanese soldiers. No sign of Remington was found once soldiers finally found and assaulted the camp. The only evidence of his captivity were reports to superiors requesting transport for a prisoner who appeared to possess credible sensitive information. Remington's last known location was boarding the requested convoy, the convoy later disappeared.

In truth, Remington managed to escape his restraints and murdered his captors, destroying the convoy. The Japanese cooked up reports claiming that the convoy was allegedly destroyed in a counter strike by resistance fighters. Remington, suspecting that his capture had been a result of an internal leak disappeared to find the mole. Once he found and neutralized the enemy agent, Remington realized he enjoyed working the shadows unattached to any government agency. Going rogue, Remington worked towards building his own organization. Years passed, with Remington adopting and discarding multiple identities as he traveled around the world building his agency. His skills pushed him to continue to keep tabs on emerging technologies until he stumbled upon the possibility of the "Chicago Experiment," in fact, despite it not being known, he was actually present for the infamous test. Within months of the experiment he found himself to be de-aging, and though he didn't recover his youth per-say he did regain some measure of his old vitality as his powers manifested (as time progressed he found that he had in fact surpassed his previous capabilities). From that point he spent his time over the decades manipulating the world to his whims from the shadows. Nowadays he calls himself Alexander Remington, but he prefers his handle of Guerrero, a name he finds most apt given his past. Realizing that there are more and more individuals such as himself, Remington has begun to plan his own vision for the world.

Anything else we need to know?
Gɪʀʟ, Lᴏᴏᴋ Aᴛ Tʜᴀᴛ Bᴏᴅʏ: Guerrero possesses the body of an older man who has done an excellent job of maintaining himself. While not bulky, Guerrero retains a lean and mean body full of wiry strength. Though not the tallest man on the block, Guerrero will be the first to tell you that height isn't everything. Guerrero may have slowed down in comparison to his prime, but even without his powers he'd be leaving most people in the dust. Guerrero's body is a finely built machine of calculating destruction, pray it isn't focused at you.

Master of Covert Ops: Due to his experience traveling the world, working for or in several countries, and his intimate past involving the development of most of the techniques involved in covert ops, he can be considered one of the founders of modern espionage and covert warfare.

Multi-lingual: This work also resulted in Guerrero being a polyglot aided later in life by his neural plasticity as a result of his powers. Remington is fluent in many languages including English, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Chinese, German, Vietnamese, Portuguese, Turkish, and Arabic.

Combat Expert: Guerrero is a hand-to-hand combat expert. He helped developed the styles favored by covert operatives and spies as well as studied a variety of martial arts. He also served in the army as a sniper for several wars, resulting in thorough understanding of a variety of weapons.

My Collection Guerrero possesses an assortment of weapons collected over his life, in addition to an odd ring bearing the number 7 preceded by the infinity symbol.

I'm not really looking forward to another person with a healing factor that isn't related to the Molting Man in some shape or form. Ideally, I judge power options based partly on whether they relate to characters of the story, with maybe 1 fellow who can heal rapidly that isn't. That doesn't mean you have to discard the power, however, so long as you can work around it.

Also, I apologize for the wait period. I've been awfully busy recently.

I have no idea who the Molting Man is, so I might need some clarification in that regard. If you mean something akin to Body Shedding, that is a *very* specific from of rapid healing, one very characteristic in my mind to a very specific set of themes.

What I'm gathering is that there is either 1) a high volume of rapid healing in the guild or 2) a personal distaste for a Regenerative Healing Factor. Neither is invalid, in fact the current high volume of characters with some form of a healing factor in current media boggles the mind.

I am confused by what you mean by working around it. That could mean a variety of things such as retooling how the power works to simply giving it a different style of execution. Or perhaps just changing how it was acquired to tie in to another source (a.k.a. something like how Deadpool acquired Wolverine's Healing Factor or something akin to the Super Soldier Project)

It should be noted that (without diving into spoilers) the character is connected to another already accepted (with the permission of said rpc's owner). We had a plot bunny to tie the two together.

Since something akin to "Molting Man" would not fit Guerrero's theme, I would have to go about it a different way.

It should be noted that I am not married to his healing factor. The main trick to Guerrero's is the first set of abilities. The healing factor was simply the easiest way to keep the old timer in the game, I could figure out variants but would like perhaps a short list of big "No!"s before I experiment.

As an aside: I totally understand being bogged down by RL and other concerns that's why I was looking for the most polite way to grab someone's attention.

He's a character who had the original Healing Factor. I try and go for one who is related to an original character and one who isn't. Although, your character isn't up to that degree where he'll just heal completely after a near-fatal wound, so I think I may overlook this instead.

I'm also concerned about that Enhanced Vision. I don't believe Enhanced Vision relates to "slowing time". That's more so of Enhanced Reflexes. You can spot a threat, but the mind's capacity to respond is separate of this.

Likewise, Enhanced Vision doesn't relate to dodging bullets either. You may see where it's coming and have improved chances as a result, but even an Enhanced Human will struggle without the necessary reflexes.

Not slowing time, his perception of how fast things are is what's different. This is he sees and process the movement so fast that he can react to things that someone without this degree of perception couldn't react to. This only works if you consider that a variation of Enhanced Reflexes is Accelerated Perception (which focuses on allowing the mind to see and respond) which is also a variation of Enhanced Senses of which Enhanced Vision is one. Since that sub-trope is related to vision I thought it an appropriate ability of Enhanced Vision. After all, the ability to prodigiously dodge has often been (again) a subset of individuals with enhanced vision.

Though, that's why he has both Enhanced Physical Abilities (which would in fact include Reflexes) and Enhanced Vision has it opens up a lot for his capability to dodge/maneuver around threats. That's primarily why I went with his healing factor since it improves his physical capabilities as noted in the description. It's a common sub effect of a healing factor and one that helps cement the style of Guerrero.

Perhaps I screwed up the Profile. I'm used to primary powers (typically 1 - 3) That hold a subset of secondary powers beneath them (like most supers). If that's not how things are organized here. I can rewrite and resubmit Guerrero.

I know he's not actually slowing time. I just don't consider that level of perception a valid sub-power with Enhanced Vision.

His Enhanced Regeneration I agree can improve his physical capabilities, but those are a bi-product of enhanced healing. I can understand why someone who heals may not tire as quickly or have a better overall physique, but reflexes to the degree of perceiving things that slow is not something I can expect to fit that category underneath Enhanced Regeneration.

So it's a difference in opinion. Would it better if I restructured Guerrero then? Took out the Accelerated Perception from Vision and simply gave him Enhanced Physical Abilities since I believe that our opinion on the enhancement involved under healing is different as well.

I have to go to work now so I'll reply when I get back.
