I moved to Waukegan last week and work for this e-commerce company as a customer service rep. I have a potential career instead of a shitty-a** minimum wage piece of bullshit like I had back home. And I live just north of Chicago.

emotion_kirakira I've felt like such a terrible adult for so long and now things are finally coming up Addy. Granted, it's not an art job and I'm not making the big bucks doing cartoons, but I have a job that allows me to freely pursue that on the side.

And idk it felt right letting u guys know even though we don't keep in touch.

We apparently had a lunch room thief for a while and it turned out to be this well respected petite middle aged redhead lady who had been there forever. I didn't find out about it until after she retired and it...I dunno, just imagining her stealing food is hilarious

@Xippy - yeah, that was even part of our training, lmao. We have to label everything and they toss it all out on Fridays so nothing gets left over the weekends.

i've just been going out for lunch almost every day so far but I gotta .. not do that. probably gonna be ramen-cupping a lot tbh
