For me it's got to be Halloween. You can dress up, play pranks and have lots of fun. If you dress up at Christmas it's generally for indoor wear only, unless you go carolling and then you may be in a period outfit (Victorian, etc).

My favorite holiday is....omgerd, I don't know. I love them all! mrgreen
Christmas is probably a top one. Well, I love the season and the prep and anticipation leading up to Christmas. I have a few relatives who can only be described with cuss words, so I usually skip out on the Christmas Day gathering. Otherwise we'd just get into fights. rofl It's the same for Thanksgiving.
I love Halloween and fall. New Years for drunken shenanigans! dramallama Mardi Gras! (Flashing on Bourbon Street for beads and other shiny plastic swag? Yes, please mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen mrgreen )
Valentine's Day- I'm not too much into overcrowded, fancy dining or romantic stuff. But it's the perfect excuse to pig out on chocolate and binge-read some yaoi manga! heart
St. Patrick's Day- I'm Irish, so heart Plus, green ale and shamrock shakes. I binge listen to Celtic music and Celtic rock
Then there's Memorial Day and July 4th. Lets just say I'm a little pyro. cool The only thing that sucks is when the boyfriend tags along for buying fireworks to keep me from blowing too much money on them. scream

Halloween will always be my number one favorite holiday. Even though it was difficult last year to celebrate that doesn't mean that I didn't try my best to still be in the mood to scare people.
