"Yo, Kiyoshi" Kana calls out to his twin and waving at him as he jogs towards him. "Took you long enough. Need to get going or we're going to miss curfew"Kiyoshi said with his arms crossed. "I'm here aren't I?" Kana spat with furrowed eyebrows. Kiyoshi unfolded his arms and sighed,"Let's go then" he said and grabs one of his brother's hands and holds onto it firmly, "Close your eyes and I will lead us there. I will tell you when you can open them" Kiyoshi instructed. "No way. This is very out of character for you, Kiyoshi" Kana protests. "Just trust me on this, brother. This is the only time I'm escorting you" said Kiyoshi and started pulling him along on in the forest. After resisting some Kana gave in and closed his eyes as he was led by hand through the forest by Kiyoshi.

For Jican this forest was easy. He knew how to walk it, having seen it plenty of times before and he knew where the most hazardous places were, just in case he ended up here at night. Of course Kana had already met the forest at night not that long ago, Jican had found him thankfully and brought him home, but he wasn't sure Kiyoshi had. Even so he preferred to go see them before the night would overtake them which would fall fast in these woods. "Let's hope I find them before something else does." he muttered.
Kana felt weird about letting Kiyoshi lead him through the forest like this. "Shouldn't have gone along with" he thought feeling embarrassed about this situation. Kiyoshi continued to lead his brother down the path he had taken yesterday he deems to be short and safe enough for them both to be taking. Although he was trying not to take too much of a risk of Kana seeing something that would scare him right now, hence why the twin's eyes are closed.

The kitsune looked around him through the forest as he scratched his ear subconsciously for a moment. He was following down the path that the twins would be taking to get to the mansion, unless they would forget about the danger that lurked in these woods at night and strayed from the path. Jican sighed. "I did tell them to be home on time. It's getting close to darkness." he muttered before he took a deep breath and called out for a moment. "Kana, Kiyoshi?!" After that he closed his eyes and twitched his ears a bit before moving them around as if listening around himself for the smallest change in environmental sounds.
The sound of Jican's voice reached the twin's ears. Kana's head turned slightly to the voice, "Was that Jican?" he questions. "Nevermind him and keep your eyes shut, brother" Kiyoshi said as he kept looking ahead. He was pretty sure the teacher wasn't too far from where they currently are in the forest.

No answer came but thankfully, the Kitsune's hearing was sharp. He did pick up their voices faintly not far ahead of him. So at least they were already on the way to the mansion. Jican sighed a bit. He really had to tell them to come back earlier, or they would always end up mid dark forest. To reach them quickly, the kitsune decided to shift to his feral form. He had left Ivy back at the mansion because of Kana's fear of horses so he couldn't ride her to be faster. With a glow of his eyes and a slight flash around him, the black humanoid form made room for the feral one and he lost no more time in waiting. He quickly pushed off with his hind legs and started to run in the direction he had heard the voices.
"Is there...something out there, Kiyoshi" Kana asked his brother quietly. He was nervous about could be out here lurking in this forest. Wondered if something like this happened yesterday because he doesn't recall happened at that time Jican had to find him. "Nothing will harm you, brother with me around and I'm not just saying that"Kiyoshi assures his brother. He wasn't going to let anything happen to his brother and the last thing he was going to let happen is a scary experience that could cause to forget that he ever did something nice for him which won't be a regular occurrence by him.

Once in his feral form, it was easy to reach the twins fast. Jican looked ahead of him as he ran and quickly spotted the two ahead on the path. Seeing that Kiyoshi was leading Kana with his eyes closed he lifted on paw up as he tilted his head and looked at the darker twin. Of course he couldn't speak in this form, but his feral self sported the same amulet around his neck as his human form did but in the form of a collar. Shaking his head a bit, shaking off the thoughts about 'why' he walked to them soundlessly and joined them on Kana's other side as they walked giving a nod to Kiyoshi. Sadly his magic wasn't incredibly strong as he hardly trained it so far, which meant he would be stuck in this form for a while as well as down to the skills of claws and teeth if anything happened.
Kiyoshi kept walking not wanting to draw attention to what was going on to Kana when Mr. Wildshadow made an appearance. He nodded back assuming the teacher won't alert Kana of his presence while they are in this forest. He didn't think they are too from the manor, but figured maybe the teacher will lead the way if he is off course from it.

Jican was glad that Kiyoshi had recognized him. Now he walked with the twins, while guarding Kana's open side. He watched out for the both of them but it did seem as if Kana was the easiest to scare out of the two. The kitsune lifted his nose to the sky and sniffed the air just to make sure, but perhaps they would move fast enough to reach the safety of the manor grounds. And if not maybe before they would be spotted by the creatures of the night. Of course at the manor chance was that Kana would see him in this form, but perhaps the collar would be enough comfort to show who the beast was. And he wasn't exactly acting menacing to the brothers either way.
"I'm sure the beast is Mr. Wildshadow. Does this mean he was worried about Kana to be out here looking like that? No way it involves me, I can handle myself"Kiyoshi thought. He wondered if the guardian has went off home now. Before long he started seeing the manor a yard ahead of them and he was relieved by it because he was getting tired of holding his brother's hand. Once he was ensured by all that would join, the kitsune smiled a bit and nodded before turning Ivy and leading his students out of the stables and into the woods. All the while he kept a close eye on them to see how they were doing, only correcting now and then if he saw it was necessary. Once he walked them through the basics, he opted to just enjoy this ride through the forest. At daytime it was as innocent and beautiful as any of the majestic forests out in the world. That was also a reason why Jican decided to ride one hour. Given possibilities for issues cropping up maybe, they at least would be back well before sundown, so they would remain safe. During that hour he would lead them through more beaten paths through the trees as they stayed near the academy. Jican smiled as they rode through the now peaceful surroundings and he remained somewhat next to the other riders so he could hear their questions before he would lead them back to the academy again.
Sato rode Butterscotch behind Kana and Diana by a few feet. First being in a forest in a long while and this time on a horse. Didn't have any problems for the most part because of his rabbit, but not against ghosts that may wander in them. Held the reins the way the teacher taught them back at the stables.

Kana knowing first hand how dangerous this forest is and now on a horse didn't ease his anticipation of something bad could happen during this ride. Tries to focus on his own body movements to try to get his mind off his fear.
