There are 8 gym battles in each region.

Become a Gym Leader

Become a Gym Leader is very simple! Just fill this form out! When accepted, you may make your character and put any Pokemon you please. Just remember the levels of each gym, first is low level and so on. Also, you may only have one specific type, for example fire or fairy. And only one in each region may exist.

This is to keep said character from not being able to take on the gyms they want.
