There is no posting order, BUT please be mindful of those interacting with your characters. Don't leave someone interacting with your character in the dust. Be patient and wait for them to respond to you. If you are wanting some one-on-one with the general of the unit, feel free to ask! Seen Kyle? He's this tall... And may or may-not be handing out familiars to those deemed worthy.

The bright morning sun crawled up over the jagged tooth-like rocks around the flattened ground. Long shadows stretched their gnarled fingers across the arena, the east reaching out to tap the edges of the western edge of the arena.
Kyle, trailed closely by a blue b'alam with a skull helmet fastened to his head, walked down the narrow trail leading to the center of the arena. His own dark-metal armor cast a reflection of all that Kyle passed by. For the entire walk from the Emperor's quarter's to the dusty area he remained quiet. This was the one chance he had to add something to this dismal world, something to bring back the pride and greatness that used to be associated with the fire tribes.
The one who was to set this all in line deemed him worthy to guide soldiers and help achieve this great vision. This task he could not fail.
"Did you send word?" Kyle inquired sternly of the b'alam behind him without turning back.
"Yes'sir" Came the quick response.
Virtus held his head high as he walked behind his general. His golden eyes watched the path before them carefully. The narrow passages made him slightly nervous, small spaces were not something he found to be comfortable. However, that fear was something he dare not display. Especially not in front of someone who was in charge of the unit.
As they passed the tall columns he glanced around the wide flat space. The dusty ground looked undisturbed. They were the first to come to the grounds, Which was to be expected. Kyle had wanted to be there early, Virtus could tell by the cold look in his eyes. One would have to know someone well enough to gauge intentions by a mere look in someone's eyes... but that's not a detail to be expanded upon now.
Virtus opened his mouth, but promptly shut it. If there were any more instructions, they would be known shortly.

Lev had been told which unit he was being assigned to and where he was supposed to headed out to. Wanting to impress upon his superiors he had headed to the location early. Not terribly early but enough that he would maybe arrive just moments before. As it to seem on time so to speak. The Tah was ready for whatever the day may have. Plus it would mean meeting new faces and also get to know who his general he was going to be under was.
Any chance he could get to better himself and any fighting skills would be just absolutely fantastic. The Tah was actually very excited for this moment and at once noticed two Tahs approaching. The dark Tah with the metal gave him almost a fright but he allowed none of it to show. That would probably make a bad impression. The blue Tah was also a sight to see. He looked battle ready just like the dark Tah. He'd learn there names soon. Maybe one of them was the general.
"I'm Lev. Reporting for duty." The male said as he straightened up and put on his best face.

(You did perfect. <: )
As Kyle passed the threshold of the passageway he noticed an early bird, a darker Tah. Without shifting his head he sized up the soldier, judging his character and his stance. This one seemed eager. That was good. Despite the satisfaction, Kyle allowed himself to remain stoic in posture. His eyes did not betray this, they remained focused.
With a flick of his head he signaled to Virtus, who stopped abruptly while Kyle continued to circle the soldier.
"What brought you here so early, soldier?" Kyle impassively inquired. His head held high and his golden eyes ever watching the soldier.
Virtus remained still as commanded. His maw parted to begin introductions, however, he thought better of speaking without being directed to. Introductions would have to wait...
Watching the general circle the new tah stirred memories of his own first inspection. It was unsettling, enough to cause a slight shutter to his shoulders (Something he was glad that the General likely had not seen).
It reached the lovely Nahtil in the western part of the Capital in Emperor Shen's territory after finishing her early dawn rounds of running, leaping, and jumping over boulders and grassy hills outside. Every part of her body burned as she walked towards a hot springs to ease the sore and tensed muscles along with washing away the sweat that had drenched her colorful coat. Stepping out with a quick shake of the excess of water, Amaterasu trotted her way from what she considered a temporary home as she did not feel any ties to the spot she roamed to the arena that had been left to collect dust and imagined memories of potential greatness.
Stopping to look up at the great structure, Amaterasu took a deep breath feeling as though she was ready to take on the challenge of becoming a warrior, in becoming a protector to her kin. Even though a small part of her nurtured an open-minded spot for the reason for needing to have a strong army of warriors. Then again, as Amaterasu shook her head and entered the arena from the other end, it was not her place to question but to obey and fight. Yes, obey and fight.
Moving forward, Amaterasu saw that there were three Tahs in the arena already. Of the three two of them wore a degree of armor that said to Amaterasu that one of them was the general and the other must be the second in command. Amaterasu stopped silently watching as the other Tah stood there encircled by the Tah with the most armor whom exuded the greatest presence. They were speaking, no doubt going through an interview to see if those who answered the call of duty were worthy enough to stay and become proud warriors.
Amaterasu waited patiently with her form held straight at attention, to wait until it was her turn to be acknowledged and to speak in returning for duty.

Arcelia gaited calmly to the arena this morning. She held herself proudly and strode with confidence radiating with each step. To all eyes the Nan would seem eager and prepared for whatever the General intended to have the Unit do. However she internally was trying to settle her rattled nerves.
Last night she had spent her time preparing for Day 1 as a soldier. Running, jumping, sharpening her claws. She had done all sorts of stunts and tricks she normally would not attempt in her day-to-day training, and while the price to pay was sore muscles she was proud of her efforts. Yet now she scolded herself mentally. She had not accounted for the fact that she would be so tired she’d nearly miss waking up for roll call today.
Upon entering the arena Arcelia breathed out in relief. It seemed that not many of the troop had arrived to the meeting spot yet, the Nan must have arrived just on time! Slowing her pace to a calm walk she neared the bright pelted Nan who had came just moments before her.

A natural early riser, Asuna had been up since just before the sun itself had risen. When she'd heard the summons, she'd made the decision to take the time and explore around the lands she was to begin training as a soldier for, something of which she was looking forward to. It was her desire to become a strong soldier. To help fight and protect the hope that Lord Shen brought to their tribe.
Once the time grew closer, she headed off towards the arena, a little spunk in her step that she quickly got under control before she approached the arena. What sort of first impression would her general be seeking? Did he want eager soldiers? Those that were hard working? Or just dedicated souls that would follow whatever orders were given? All these thoughts flickered quickly across her mind. She wasn't sure what they would think of her, a slim nan that could use a little more muscle. As long as she didn't appear weak. That was the only thing she was most concerned with.
Giving her head a good shake, Asuna spotted another just ahead of her entering the arena. The nan looked proud and confident. Adjusting her own step, she attempted to appear more confident then she actually felt as she quietly followed behind the nan with streamers flowing gracefully from her horns. A small pause was given as her pale gaze took in those that had already gathered here before she moved to stand near the other two nans present.

Liang had spent the time since Shen had claimed the throne trying to find himself suitable living quarters in the city. He had been newly woven when events had transpired, meaning he hadn't even had a place to stay yet when he'd so enthusiastically thrown in his lot with this new leader.
It would all work out in the end though, right? Shen had promised a glorious future and an empire to be proud of!
A place to stay was important, but perhaps he should have given a bit more thought before tossing in his lot with the military draft. The summons came and while Liang was eager to respond, he had no idea what was expected of him or what he might be in for. He assumed everything would work out, of course, and went on his merry way to the meeting spot. He probably should have hurried a bit faster as he noted many others were already there, nans and tahs alike. Well, all were welcome to show their support and loyalty to the (soon to be) great Fire Tribe!
Liang Zhou arrived at an easy stride and it took him a few moments to pick up on the tension in the area. Oh, right...serious business and all that. He straightened up his posture and moved to take his place in line as if he'd been there all along. At least for the moment, the ones in charge didn't seem to be looking his way, so he aimed a friendly smile at the nans at the end of the line near him. They were his new companions and comrades, after all, right? Best to start off on a good paw!
To restore the Fire Tribe's rightful glory; to subdue and defeat the audacity of those who see the Fire Tribe for less than how mighty it is truly meant to be; and thus, to protect it from being defiled to the point of spiraling further into its doom rather than being built back up; these are the objectives that Chaya gathered as they pertained to all the preparation, the training, and the calls to arms she has been witnessing and experiencing to be deemed extreme and urgent in nature since she had awoken here in the heart of the Fire Tribe's lands.
And what she has taken in through her senses during the beginning of her life so far, struck her with a sense of discovery that there is much potential here. It would be a waste for such majesty as what she has gathered of all that was around her to crumble into decay. Chaya felt as though there was a hum of energy within her being and among all those surrounding her, grand existences that would be a pity to be extinguished rather than fueled to powerful heights.
Yes, she believed that it's possible for her to play a part in all the endeavoring to see that the Fire Tribe flourishes.
These are the thoughts that burned in her mind as she made her way here.
Then the sight of others like herself pulled her from deeper depths of her thoughtful mind. And with her silent steps, she went on to approach the group that was gathering.

Kyle scoffed to the lack of a response from the first soldier, but brushed the irritation to the side. All of his attention shifted to the b'alam that had entered the ring. There were a great deal more Nans than Tahs placed in his unit. The note was only a minor one, Kyle only cared of their capabilities as a soldier.
It had been long enough to wait, any late-comers would have to run laps and catch up on their own down time.
"Virtus, keep watch by the entrance. Anyone who comes in now must answer to you... make sure they regret their tardy." Volga instructed with a growl.
He didn't wait for the dark blue b'alam to be off on his task before he took a step toward his solders. Each of them earning a personal glance from the general.
"Eyes alone will not tell me if you are worthy to serve in my unit and to honor our empror!" He called out. "Each of you will prove your worth to me. Fail to do so and I will kill you. Are we clear?"
"Yes Sir" Virtus acknowledge his orders and promptly turned around to watch the pathway leading to the arena. He was alright with just the orders he was give... By the sound of it, each of the recruits would have their work cut out for them.
He drew in a deep breath and focused on the path. Given the orders barked out from their general, he best not slack off as well.
The notion of a growl seemingly came to Chaya's thoughts unbidden, like a reflex that she somehow managed to resist, not having allowed the sudden impulse to give voice to the sound through her throat. Why did Kyle's threat of killing those who end up failing pull such a response into the center of her mind, she wondered for a moment.
However, she drew her mind to focusing hard on grasping more of the circumstances at hand.
"Yes, Sir," was her verbally permitted words of determination instead from where she stood in place, having mimicked the acknowledgement that was said by Vitus.
It bewildered her that so much turmoil was lighted within her in only a few moments. She wanted to provide her comrades with respect. However, she also admitted to herself that mixed in with her emotions was a hostility she wondered about the origin of. Was it a sense of competitiveness, tenacity for survival, a mix of both, or even a mix that encompassed more?

Watchful of their general, Amaterasu looked even more alert when he moved to face the rest of the group that had managed to gather in answering the call of duty. Everyone received a measured look from the general, including her, yet she did not flinch from it. Yes, this Tah looked as though he would be the strictest and more difficult leader to them but then he had a large responsibility to ensure that those around them were protected.
Listening to his words and the threat....no the promise that came with it, Amaterasu nodded. Her voice raised loud and clear, obedient yet strong. "Yes Tah." Amaterasu wondered what sort of training exercises they will be put through and for a split moment she wondered if she would be able to keep up and survive. Maybe that thought would be enough to motivate her to stay alive....yes it will have to do. The colorful Nahtil was ready with her comrades to take on the challenge of becoming the best soldiers this empire has ever produced.
Arcelia tried not to mind Kyle’s threat. It was probably just a “pep talk” to encourage them to be the best that they could. Yet he had spoken it with such conviction that she could not help but feel the heat of a burning flame rise within her soul. He dared to threaten her. He dared to presume he could defeat her in combat.
Her blood red eyes carefully examined the tah leader. Perhaps if he was unburned by such heavy armor it would be a fair battle for the both of them, but the road to superiority was not won with fairness now was it? No, if she chose to lash out against him for his words Arcelia would best be prepared to deal with those nasty looking clawed gloves, and spiked shoulder pads he adorned himself with. Now was hardly the time to test Kyle’s word to be true.
The green nan opted to give a nod of acceptance in Kyle’s statement. “Understood, sir.”

Liang Zhou was unfazed by the lack of response from the nans. Even if they didn't return his smile, he knew he'd made the impression he wanted to. The armored B'alam's voice shook him from his thoughts and he focused on the tah that was clearly their new squad leader. He looked strong. And tough. Or perhaps that was all the armor. He definitely could be loud and commanding...
...perhaps not the most encouraging or inspirational. Or maybe that was the point of what he said? He was a joker! Ha! Strange sense of humor, but clearly he was joking. After all, why recruit soldiers just to kill them off? That'd be a waste. Heh, funny joke...
...right?
It only took a moment for him to think back to the events in the chamber and remember just what sort of leader it was to which he had sworn his allegiance. Oh, right.
Yeah, probably not a joke after all.
Fighting the urge to lay his ears back against his horns, Liang swallowed hard to hide his sudden hesitation. Just what had he signed up for?!? No, no, no. He could do this. After all, he had been there when Shen had spoken to them all. He had felt the power and inspiration that flowed through the room. The Fire Tribe would be great and glorious once more, and he was here to help do that! Shen had great plans and surely he would lead them all to glory. He just needed to stay strong and do his best and all would be fine. Shen needed every B'alam to do their part.
His expression refocused with determination, his paws shifting just slightly apart to give him a strong, braced stance. Liang's pale eyes narrowed and locked on his new commander and he echoed the other new soldiers around him. "Yes, sir!"
Kyle surveyed his troops carefully, a mixed bunch of reactions. It was understandable, no one should like to have their lives threatened. Perhaps they didn't believe he would? Kyle assumed the ones with the less-tensed reaction believed that. He glanced over to Virtus who was posted as a sentry near the entrance. No one had shown up, a pity. Perhaps they could have been an example of just how serious he was. No matter, that can be learned over time.
"Good." He finally addressed them.
His head lifted high. He whipped his head so the menacing horn on his helmet pointed toward Chaya. "Nan! Tell me why you are here."
