I couldn't find a topic about it, so excuse me if this has been posted before, but... Does anyone in here craft? whee
It's one of my hobbies, and I'd love to chat about it, be it working with wood, leather, paper or whatever. I like looking at the creative things people can do with their hands and minds, and just drool over it or draw inspiration from it emotion_yatta
I'm into crafting jewelry, mainly bracelets by braiding and macramé, but also bottle charm necklaces. They are so much fun to create! heart
My to-do list is long, and I always try to better myself...

I'm into it, but I'm actually super trash at crafting lol emotion_facepalm I actually bought a woodburner (see idek what it's called haha) and tried burning some designs, and ended up pressing too hard somehow breaking the tip and just ended up painting over it. I've always wanted to make cool things but often lack the patience or supplies. That's cool that you make those things though c:

I ripped my first bracelets apart, because I thought they were ugly, and I still do it sometimes, when I'm not satisfied with my work sweatdrop While getting supplies can be a hard part, especially if you need something specific, I find it fun to shop when things are on sale, and keep stuff for later. If you want to try your luck with a woodburner again, I'd love to see how it turns out. I'm curious now, as to what you wanted to make 3nodding

What's your favorite craft store? I recently went to a Hobby lobby, and love it.c: I can show you some of the ones from earlier I was talking about ~ but my next project is going to be my own neon sign, hopefully lol. I have an obsession with lights

I have an obsession with lights Uhm, I don't really have a favorite I think. We only have one store that sells quality crafting stuff, and it's named H.C. Jacobsen. It's a local paint and crafting store. In bigger cities we have Panduro Hobby, but their prices are nasty! I like to order online, when I can't find what I'm looking for near my home, or when I get a newsletter about sales sweatdrop Yes sure, do show me what you've made! Right now, I kind of have a broken image in my head of what you're doing, because I don't know much about burning wood, other than what I did back in school. You know, writing my own name and other childish stuff xp Oh dear... So you will have to bend glass? That sounds like a big project, and very risky, but I hope you will succeed! I want a sign then, that would be awesome whee

It's kind of like a ghetto neon sign, that's still kind of cool it my book. Let me link it for you c: Here~

Supplies for jewelry crafting are also easier to find online, than in our few shops around here gonk Oooh, yes, those signs ARE cute! I'd love one in my kitchen with a tomato and a carrot. Don't know why, but I think it would look awesome. My boyfriend would probably not agree with me, but hey... He'd just have to get used to it whee
