It's debatable if this is a sign of maturity or a defect in the child/young teenage boy. William will often keep to himself but likes to torment his big sister because of the funny faces she makes, at least whenever he can see her. He often just observes everything and always has a calm face when doing so. The poker face that adorns this young male's face is normally the same expression that can be visualized within the lovely photo on the upper right-hand corner. William is by no means interested in one's gossip, idle chit chat or what have you. Prefers solitude, peace, and quiet, though it is not as if he won't stir some trouble. Violence and trouble are not a color that the male likes to adorn but it will often find him in cases that are not desirable.
He only partakes of any activity that catches his interest which has often associated him as being a bit picky.

xxxxxxxx☇ At the age of five, William’s only sister had went off to an academy in some unknown region, at least in his eyes. Their elder brother was usually out of the house but would still come far more often to look after the young boy. At five years there wasn’t much he could do for himself. He could watch, talk, listen, and be a part of the grand world around him. But he wasn’t all that interested in diving headfirst. He was far more interested in staying on the sidelines and just watching how things play out. Certainly he would intervene occasionally just to see what would happen, and that sometimes caused a few scratches and there. One could say William was adventurous for his age but he was just responding to what he saw. The kid wasn’t much of a talker so it was difficult to know what he was thinking. In fact, even as a kid he didn’t converse with the other adults and kids. The kid would much rather go off to a dark corner of a room and just watch everyone. Yes, it could be considered creepy and antisocial of a boy at his age but he felt more at home doing so then participating in being social. William didn’t quite understand the point of socializing. Certainly his elder siblings taught him both sides of the coin. The elder brother taught the boy the positives of socializing. One can network, spend time with a group, have ‘fun’ as his brother would say, and not seem alone. His sister taught him the bad. Her classmates bullied her due to her love of Pokémon. She placed more emphasis with a connection with non-human creatures than the ones that were in her classroom. The sister didn’t communicate much with others, with the exception of family. It seemed like she was trying to socialize with others but that was more so because of big brother’s intervention.
When big sis left all William had was his brother and the occasional visits from the adults. The adults were his parents but he didn’t feel much of a connection with them. He was sure that his sister and brother felt the same way. He had actually contemplated going off to the same school as Alana but there wasn’t much time to be thinking that. For it wasn’t all that long till he noted his brother slowly fading away from the family. His brother had done his own thing and may have disappeared from time to time but he would always tell William when he would be back. But it came to the point where his brother would leave for days, weeks, and rarely…a month. For Victor to act this way was quite strange but the elder brother was by no means abandoning William. Victor would leave food or have a Pokémon come deliver necessities for William to continue living in the house. The young boy could see that his brother still very much cared for him but did not pry into the problems of ‘adults’.
A couple years went by and the Kalos region was the beginning of it all. It was the first region for Team Arcana to attack. William was about eight when the Kalos region fell and was adopted into the camps. The camps where they would brainwash children in order to have them serve Team Arcana. William had not stayed there for long and should you ask him as to how long he actually stayed there then you might as well go ask someone else. He doesn’t talk about that day and much less divulges any information about that day. The lad can hardly remember how much time had passed during his stay there but he was certainly happy on the day he was rescued. William along with the parents that financed the family fled from region to region. It was during this time that communication to Alana was cut off and no one knew what happened to Victor. They could assume he had been fine as there were times a letter would flutter down onto William’s lap in his brother’s handwriting.
Sadly enough the war had brought the family closer. Perhaps out of the three children William was more exposed to spending more time with father and mother. The parents still went out to work within the regions in order to attain a secured income but the war was always nipping at their heels. They had to continually hop from one region to another in order to evade from Team Arcana. Thus making it quite difficult to settle down for too long. William would often transfer from school to school, home to home, land to land to the point where he found it difficult to keep connections with people from school. It became easier to be a distant individual than to get close to another. William didn’t hate people but he never really knew when he would have to go searching for another home, for another life.
It became natural to be on the constant move before the family would have to pack up their stuff and move out. Maybe their moving days had come to a stop when William found himself in a new school where their purpose was to put a stop to this war. His personal feelings towards Team Arcana was mixed but he remembered how he enjoyed peace and quiet as a kid. If he could somehow bring it back to his current time then it would be worth joining this school.
