◤ The stat system that is used in this guild is very simple and easy to use. Please note that the stat system is used strictly for battling only. You do not use the stat system during contests or when using the stylus. When starting off, your lvl 5 starter pokemon will receive 35 initial stat points to put towards whatever stat you want. However, note that HP is excluded from this.

Here's an example:

◆ Stats ◆ (35/35 stat points)
xxxxxxxxx☇ Health: 50/50 HP (Your initial start, no stat points are added here)
xxxxxxxxx☇ Attack: 10
xxxxxxxxx☇ Sp Attack: 6
xxxxxxxxx☇ Defense: 4
xxxxxxxxx☇ Sp Defense: 5
xxxxxxxxx☇ Speed: 10

Above the initial stat points have been distributed, and thus you are left with 0/35 stat points left.

Now that you have a general idea on how to distribute your stat points, lets move onto how many stat points you gain per level. For every 1 level you gain, you will receive 5HP and 10 stat points. So initially you were given 35 stat points. So when you start out you are lvl 5. After reaching level 6, you will gain 10 more stat points + 10 HP. The 10 stat points and hp poing gain happens every time after you level up.

Here's an example:

◆ Stats ◆ (10/45 total stat points to spend, so 10 points were added to your overall stat points)
xxxxxxxxx☇ Health: 60/60HP (10 points were added from level increase)
xxxxxxxxx☇ Attack: 10
xxxxxxxxx☇ Sp Attack: 6
xxxxxxxxx☇ Defense: 7
xxxxxxxxx☇ Sp Defense: 7
xxxxxxxxx☇ Speed: 15

Now that you know how many stat points you get per level, as well as how much HP you will receive lets move onto how pokemon natures influence your stat pool.

Let's use a lvl 50 Noivern with a Modest nature as an example. Looking at the chart provided for you here, we see that pokemon with this nature receive a deduction towards their attack stat, as well as an addition towards their Special Attack stat. Basically what this means is that after you place your stat points into their proper areas, you will need to subtract 3 stat points from the appropriate stat mentioned in the ability section, and add them to the appropriate stat mentioned as well.

Here's an example of a lvl 50 pokemon with a modest nature:

◆Stats◆ [285 total stat points] [ - 3 Attack + 3 Sp Attack based on nature]
xxxxxxxxx☇ Health: 500/500 hp [10 (per level) x 50 (Level) = 500 HP]
xxxxxxxxx☇ Attack: 42
xxxxxxxxx☇ Sp Attack: 78
xxxxxxxxx☇ Defense: 45
xxxxxxxxx☇ Sp Defense: 50
xxxxxxxxx☇ Speed: 70

so here after adding in all our stat points, we then subtracted 3 from the Attack stat and added 3 to the Special Attack stat above.

Now that you've now learned about how to apply your nature to your stats, lets cover one last thing shall we? Every time you level up your pokemon you earn stat points. However, every 10 levels your pokemon receive an extra boost of 10 stat points towards their Attack and Special Attack stats.

As seen below, Noivern's stats are at level 50. Because you gain 10 stat points towards your Attack and Special Attack stat Noivern would recieve an extra 50 stat points towards their Attack and Special Attack stat:

◆Stats◆ [5 (exp gained per level) x 50 (current level)= 250 + 35 (Initial stat points)= 285 total stat points] [ - 3 Attack + 3 Sp Attack based on nature] [10 (level bonus) x 5 (level 50, every ten levels) = 50 additional stat points towards At. and Sp. At. stats]
xxxxxxxxx☇ Health: 500/500 hp
xxxxxxxxx☇ Attack: 92 [notice the change] [42 + 50= 92]
xxxxxxxxx☇ Sp Attack: 128 [notice the change] [78 + 50= 128]
xxxxxxxxx☇ Defense: 45
xxxxxxxxx☇ Sp Defense: 50
xxxxxxxxx☇ Speed: 70

Now you've learned everything there is to know about the stat system, so let's put everything we learned today into action shall we?

Here's an example:

◆Stats◆ [5 (exp gained per level) x 50 (current level)= 250 + 35 (Initial stat points)= 285 total stat points] [ - 3 Attack + 3 Sp Attack based on nature] [10 (level bonus) x 5 (# per ten levels) = 50 additional stat points towards At. and Sp. At. stats]
xxxxxxxxx☇ Health: 500/500 hp
xxxxxxxxx☇ Attack: 92
xxxxxxxxx☇ Sp Attack: 128
xxxxxxxxx☇ Defense: 45
xxxxxxxxx☇ Sp Defense: 50
xxxxxxxxx☇ Speed: 70

This is how your stats process should look like. With that this tutorial is done. I hope you guys learned a few things and have fun! Till next time! ◢
