Personality: Shy with new people, especially towards those that seem intimidating. Nilin tends to take things easy and avoid conflic, which often leads her to make excuses to run from complicated situations or (mostly) getting dragged by the group's decition. Curious and intuitive, Nilin often excels at gathering information. Wether it be books, articles or whatever she's able to attain by observation, her natural talent towards this usually gets her into trouble or gets her nice pictures with her hobby.
History: Nilin grew up In japan, near one of the Star clan's dojo. Often reffering to her as the library ninja as she would just disappear to investigate whatever she was passionate about. Often it is implied she was somehow related to the Star clan, hense her surname Starshine, but nothing has been confirmed. That and Nilin usually laughs nervously before changing the subject or making a good excuse to leave.
While her parents worked on the dojo's maintenance, the relationship with the star clan doesn't seem to be nothing more than business.
While on hre school, most of the kids on her class decided that the project they would all work on would be to apply for DMWA's exchange program since they wanted to visit the school where heroes are born.
Nilin was rather hesitant as she saw the school as a sack of problems and a ticking bomb because of the news she read on the internet and newspapers regardign the various incidents that happened at Death Vegas. Yet, since she couldn't come with a better excuse to change the classroom's mind she would concede and apply with the rest of her class.
Much to her demise, Nilin's application for the program was accepted right away. And now, she's away from home, across the sea. From her homeland on England to America, At the very least language wouldn't be a problem.
As to how did her family worked with the star clan if the star clan was on japan, well her parents run a cleaning and maintenance company, so she got to travel a lot when her parents felt like taking her.
Despite her bookwork habit, she's rather athletic. After all those escapades wouldn't work without a rather descent physical condition. And the tittle of Library ninja didn't came because of her shy nature.
