RULES/DIRECTIONS
gaia_star You may enter twice
gaia_star Each entry must be a short story of no more than 100 words, or it can be a short poem.
gaia_star All entries must be related to the shop and the Gladiers in some way.
gaia_star If there enough entries, a second pet will be included as a grand prize for best entry. The other pet will be a raffle among all remaining eligible entries.

Entry Two

Circinus are beautiful but strong willed.
Spica are the fun loving variety of gladiers you always wanted to be friends with.
Cetus are careful little things. Protecting all that is joyful to them.

In my group of gladiers I have met all kinds of fates. All kinds of spirits and sprites. You should totally meet them one day and maybe you could make a forever best friend too.

Entry two
A story about a glaider growing up

Do you dream to fly one day? Probably not, it's just me with a crazy wish like that. But I want to touch the sky and fly upward towards my dream. Maybe I could even touch a cloud and chase the stars, but that's my wish. Now that I've grown up and grown my wings I can fly and chase the stars. It feels great up here, dancing on the clouds and feeling the wind. Even the birds are below you! Isn't this great?

Huge eyes watched, spellbound, as the enemy sat there a few feet ahead. As long as he watched, the enemy could not move forward or back. Wings trembling with nerves and excitement, a young spica padded forward, nosing closer and closer until he stood over his now-vanquished enemy. Reaching out a cautious paw, our hero tapped overtop his enemy ...only to watch in dismay as it escaped down the side of the mountain, stopped by trees at the lower edge of the glade.

His mother watched, hovering above, shaking her head in amusement as her son continued stalking his ball.
