Once upon a time....a crazy old maniac of an Alchemist magic man geezer had access to all sorts of illegal things. Had funding from shady and unsavory characters. Was able to experiment and test on things at his will. For decades this Alchemist worked away with many failed attempts to create a living and breathing entity. Trying different times of fetus's until several near successes involving a human fetus, alchemy and many illegal methods...genetics of a Shapeshifter that died in a fight ring scenario...and three failed alchemic based and magic experiments later, many disposable crownless slaves and unfortunates deaths later.......SUCCESS!!! 9 Months later a child born of a surrogate woman, a magical & alchemically altered with magical markings up and down its form, child was created. Then speed aged.
You got it...this once upon a time Dr. Frankenstein sounding fairy tale involving a Psychotic yet well financed Alchemist doing highly taboo and illegal Alchemy "hoodoo" was factual. The baby not only survived the alchemic splicing and birht process but also further Alchemic cauldron and magic potiosn later didn't explode or something. The old psychotic alchemist was pleased and in secret taught, raised and speed aged through many trail and error methods...his created little shapeshifter. Scientists from his financers came and went doing their tests. Everything seemed...perfect. That is...until the day the mad alchemists creation was about 16ish by appearance...despite many tests that were successful for partial morphs (though some were done on their own and in secret) not a single attempt to turn even a fingernail into an animal claw was successful. The events following was...dangerous.
Flashforwards to current days now....the old alchemic magic man was nearing the end of his deathbed. It had been decades since Xeno played a video game called Xeno Saga and named himself that name. Despite his inability to focus long enough to even try to comprehend or gain skills in simple slave duties such as cleaning or cooking...the young man has secretly mastered their shapeshifting ability and delving into learning more. While not exactly the brightest crayon in the box if it interests him he is an avid learner. He has learned how to cosplay, an addiction to anime, manga, disguises, and loves to do his best to please his aging master or allies.
Two years ago...back when he claimed 19-25.....
Outside what is already said...for the time being due to his Master being admitted to the hospital after a heart attack incident, he was sent to live with the Master's family. Who then gave the responsibility of looking over him to the crazy old Alchemists grandson, on his sister's side, who lets Xeno do whatever the hell he wants as long as he doesn't ask questions about what the Guardian Master (as Xeno gets it) gang affiliation or bother him when he having "fun". From what Xeno understands the Guardian Master works for some gang...he wasn't paying attention...or he forgot. It wasn't that interesting to him. He just enjoyed the ability to well...do whatever he wanted.

He currently is traveling with the ailing old man who planned for him to be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Unfortunately its not likely Xeno's ailing creator and master will manage to finish this...he passed away. Shortly after xeno wandered out his luck brought Skye Addison his way...give him a friend, a mama, and a teacher. As well as the closest thing to citizenship a guy like him could ever have. oh...and a cool cellphone.

▬ "Master Of Disguises": is really good at adapting "personas" or going undercover by using real world costumes to take on different disguises. Along with makeup and voice changing skills has learned to become the disguise. He has trained and practiced in this so its more mundane even a normal human could learn to do it style then supernatural powers MUNDANE SKILL
▬ Master Metamorphic Shapeshiferthe ability of self-transformation of part or all of ones being into something else. Unlike in most cases involving animals or people, this ability allows for transformation of a limb(s). Of course not at the same time. The shapeshifting is limited to non living things such as weapons, keys, are what he is good at

Drawbacks: must learn about and study as well as practice any new morphs in stages unless its an easy adaptation of one he already has.

Weakness: anytime he tries to shift a part(s) into a well studied, understood and known animal "morph" it comically goes array or he massively ******** it up. its almost like his body goes nope...or you mean here?

▬Xeno beyond just being accident prone or clumsy. He is literally incapable of doing much in the way of housework. He spent so much time focusing on his interests and mastering shapeshifting....the more he tries to clean or fix the worst the area gets
