Enhanced Human Conditioning: The user's physical and mental abilities are above natural members of their species in that verse, beyond what can be emulated via natural training and with little to no maintaining. This entails that they are faster, stronger, more intelligent and overall superior to fellow members of their species, without being obviously supernatural.
Because his condition is permanently enhanced, his senses and reflexes are beyond a state of normal. Jamie is capable of sniping from 70 feet with just a pistol. It may not be the best shot, but it's proven he is more than capable of pulling it off and moving out of dangerous situations if the need provides for it. Furthermore,these senses give him a presence of his territory (Spatial Awareness) around his being by a five foot circumference, allowing him to detect things that can or cannot be seen on the phenomena level. This means he is capable of detecting invisible figures within this range, but he cannot act on something such as Telekinesis. Give that he's been in the military, knowing how to fight and that his condition is enhanced, he is a fleeting nightmare for anyone up close to him and are of an average size. Even the fastest should avoid him once they get too close.
His strength puts him at a level of ten trained athletes combined while his speed is exceptionally well that he's very agile and quick to move, but not extremely fast to where one can say he's pushing into the nanosecond range. He can make Usain Bolt look like child's play however, which has served him in numerous situations from getting from one sniping position to another. He is nimble and graceful, fluid like the best gymnast, but he is not overly strong like the individuals that can lift beyond a ton, which is his limit. He's no tank. He's just durable.
Regenerative Healing Factor: Jamie's most deceptive ability, given only after he was shocked to extreme levels during the reconditioning phase of his mind. A change in the operation yielded to more drastic consequences. The user can rapidly regenerate. In other words, they recreate lost or damaged tissues, organs and limbs, sometimes slowing, or even stopping, aging. The rate and amount of healing varies widely; some can regrow missing limbs, others must put the limb back in place for rapid regeneration. They are generally in very good physical shape as their bodies are constantly reverting to healthy state, granting them nigh-inexhaustible stamina and vitality.
At higher levels, users can regenerate not just their cellular tissues, but also their DNA, undoing genetic mutations and breakdown, as well as maintaining one's youth by extending telomeres. This also gives them immunity to diseases and infections, undoing any unwanted symptoms, as well as provide a form of self-sustenance, forgoing the needs for oxygen and food intake. If advanced enough, the ability will cause the body to cease aging as the cells are regenerating and dying in equilibrium, granting immortality.
Regeneration differs from wound healing, which involves closing up the injury site with a scar.
➳ What are their weaknesses?
-Jamie underneath the abilities, is not an extremely powerful figure. Deadly up close and afar with a gun, but if he were to get into a fight with someone with extremely powerful abilities, he would not last without his wits.
-Keeping in mind of his Regenerative healing Factor, Jamie's healing varies. He cannot instantly heal a blown off hand. That in itself takes time to properly restore itself. His fallen limb also cannot regrow into another clone. Jamie can regenerate from the singlest of DNA strand in the event his body is completely eviscerated however. Again though, that takes time. It is to these reasons, he leaves a strand of hair somewhere in the event something happened to his full body.
-Regarding Spatial Awareness, while Jamie can indeed detect Telekinesis and the fact such an ability is indeed a well known counter to frag Psionic based powers, ultimately, he cannot act on it as it is an instant seize ability similar to Molecularkinesis.
-Continuing about brutes taking him on, Jamie can be rendered unconscious and other various things like a human. Unlike a human, he is immune to toxins and viruses and other illnesses. That is the only exception.
-His Regenerative Healing Factor does not grant him immortality. He just ages rather slowly than most, but will still above all things, age. He will die, eventually, from something. Presently though, he's not going anywhere.
-Furthermore, his mind is not entirely unstable. An empath could access his mind and temporarily stun him by undoing the years of conditioning done to him. It's unknown whether this can permanently be fixed or if he's lost entirely.
➳ How do they act?
A southern gentleman with a chivalric demeanor. He is cool, calm, collected, with a bit of sassiness, Ryan is an eccentric male not one to typically be gloomy or otherwise depressed. He is charismatic and noble, like his last name dictates, but he is also deadly. Underneath it all lies a predator looking for the next kill and he will complete those means through any way possible. He is by all accounts a Homme Fatale.
➳ What's their backstory?
What to say about the figure known as Priest? He comes from a senator's family in the rural parts of Dallas, his mother Hispanic and his father Caucasian. He hails from a family of Marines, where it is obvious he was next to follow suit in such a lifestyle. His family is also very religious, hence the name, his true sexuality kept hidden because of this. What is different about Jamie is that he voluntarily signed up for an experiment? You've probably heard that before.
In this experiment, it was tested not for war but for the survival of mankind. Yes, there were scientists who feared that man would not be around long in the years later. Through these means, they wanted to develop a condition in which humans could thrive a bit further.
Jamie was one of the few who lived past the experiments, the others being scrapped as Killed in Action. While the scientists saw one mean, the full military saw another. Superheroes were an issue here and there and they came with baggage: Villains. Why should their country need to rely on them to do a job they were more than capable of performing? Jamie was subjected to a state of mental reconditioning, the male needing to be phenomenal when handling supers. It worked, in a way. Because of the Regenerative Healing Factor, his memories were restored. However, the persona of a Saint liberating the masses of demons (Heroes in this case because of the destruction they brought), that had retained.
The military had tried everything to get rid of this male. Time and time again, he would return and heal, even out of the thinnest of DNA not seen to the public eye. Eventually he got loose and now he's on a crusade to kill, but not innocents, no. Just the few who put people in harms way and sadly with the Heroes clause of not killing, causing villains to get out and cause more chaos, the former are on the top of his list rather than the latter. To those reasons, he also helps villains.
His first kill was taken years ago. He appeared out of shadows in the night, wearing a particular brand of sports glasses, black on the frames, a deep orange tint that hid away his brown eyes. The rest of his outfit resembled that of an actual minister, minus the white collar and this fabric itself was made of a kevlar fabric, black in appearance, interwoven by numerous fibers to make a flexible suit. His victim was a rising hero, a powerset that granted them the gift to blink around their environment.
The male fought valiantly, even gave a chase. Priest delightfully followed after him. When the dawn had arrived upon the city of New York, this hero was found displayed on the windows of a skyscraper, an etching of a cross cut through his mask and onto his flesh. Since then, Priest continued on an effort to get rid of various heroes here and there or just those who would support them. Some fights, he knew to avoid, particularly against individuals who were more then capable of beating him. Some, like another individual who relied only on his strength, were an easy picking. Being durable, Priest never exhausted. His hunt only continues within the current year.
➳ Anything else we should know?
-He is based on the characters Vega from Street Fighter and Vamp and The Fear from the Metal Gear series
-Jamie is multilingual. He learned Spanish by birth as well as English. He has learned Portuguese, Mandarin, Japanese, German and Bulgarian through the reconditioning phase.
-The military attempted to inform his parents that he was killed in action. Imagine the surprise they had during his funeral services.
-He presently works as an assassin for the military despite their actions, the male able to work as a soldier of fortune. He is not, after all, the only succeeded experiment.
-Jamie favors Baseball and Soccer as sports, having played the latter at his high school before graduating
-Because he is the son of a Senator, he heavily involved in various forms of politics and actually enjoys History itself. His favorite read is Art of Peace by Aikido Master Morihei Ueshiba.
-He is a fan of nature, long walks and hunting.
-He is an excellent Marksman and expert with knives
-To his killed victims, he leaves a carving of a crucifix upon their foreheads
-His sexuality often has him conflicted, especially when he finds a hero or heroine he finds attractive, sometimes making the twisted reconditioning within his head stop briefly.

Explaining the suit:
Priest’s suit is a prototype designed at it’s core efficiency to keep him moving without certain hindrances. Military designed, the goal was tasked for developing soldiers capable of resisting certain elements against the supernatural forces that plagued them. Certain, not all. If the military had a way to solve all their problems, Priest for example, would have been solved. With villains and heroes of unmatched powers, should the situation ever occur, soldiers were needed to help keep the peace in case the SIA were to fail. They should be the fail-safe among these tyrants. This is where the compound of D30 comes into play.
Initially invented in 2007 to replace Kevlar, D3O is a substance used in impact protection due to its various energy absorptive properties. In its raw state it flows freely when moved slowly, but on shock from these energies coming against it’s material, locks together to absorb and disperse energy, before returning to its flexible state.
After his encounter with the vigilante known as Azrael, Priest began to learn the limitations of his abilities. He could never leave fate to chance once more. Someone was out for blood for the murder of their family members. He would have to encounter this man again, but this time, he would be ready.
It’s function: As explained, D30 materials that react to high-speed impacts by changing their material properties from soft and flexible to stiff and protective. It’s a counter material, not a one all beat all fabric. The harder the force brought to it, the harder it will resist against it. The lighter however, the lesser it will hold a value. While it is stated that it can absorb various forms of energy, it can only in fact absorb kinetic based energies. Any trauma done it consists of Kinetic, Kinetic being physical trauma created from the matter of movement. Therefore impacts like harsh wind, while the person themselves are not able to grasp such thing, it will reduce the physical hold and strain brought on to them, which is why it's a popular element most athletes desire to use.
Flaws: Anything non-Kinetic (Anything that causes force or movement) based in energy:
Chemical Energy
Nuclear Energy
Gravitational Energy: Because Gravitational Manipulation is often called Gravikinesis or Gyrokinesis, this means movement is occurring against an object to enforce weight upon it. However, Gravity is acting upon the atmosphere’s pull and release itself, therefore D30 cannot react to it appropriately.
Elastic Energy
Thermal and of course Temperature: It becomes too loose when in extreme hot temperatures and hard when in extremely cold settings. Fire counts as extremely hot and ice consists of extremely cold. Lightning also consists of Thermal as well as Solar
Extreme Power: Okay, let's be real here. There's no way this thing could take the power of a rushing tanker and still be standing in the same position like it's an immovable object. This is a reaction compound, but can still be moved. If this was a huge blob of it bigger than said vehicle, then of course, it wouldn't move much as it absorbs the energy. However, Priest is no huge blob. He will get sent flying against said vehicle, but thanks to the material he's wearing, the damage and trauma brought on from a wreck can be withstood. Since Priest can deal with a ton presently, anything of that level warrants him sliding back. Anything beyond it is overwhelming.
Impalement: Yes, it can be impaled. This consists of movement and Elastic Energy. Learn something new everyday.
How it is fitted on Priest:
Upper body is similar to a long sleeve tight fitting shirt, made of the material itself with light padding of the same material on the shoulders on down to the arm. Padding is around the waist with small exhausts fitted around the neck, sleeves and under flap of the shirt by the waist. Priest has updated this to where it is short sleeved with long sleeved gloves
Lower body: Sort of like the tights that stretch with the lower strap to the heels of the feet, this is similar to the upper, thin in form for flexible movement with extra padding around the buttocks, thighs and legs. Exhaust points are at the waist and straps.
Sturdier shoulder, knee and back pads are then placed over this thinner material.
Camouflage shirt: Basic cotton shirt placed over the material
Kevlar vest: Now here is where he adds the famous fabric. Thin in frame for flexibility, Jamie wears this over like a combat vest, complete with his signature symbol (crucifix) in the center in an orange color.
Kevlar shin guards: Black in texture, he wears these over his shins similar to the D30 fabric
Basic Combat pants: Fixed underneath the shin guards.
Sock like shoes: White in color and underneath the D30 pants themselves. Offers him flexible movement like with the rest of his material.
Holster and Weapon Strap: What he typically houses his weapons around save for the Anti-Materiel Rifle. Four grenades, 12 knives, 2 pistols.
