The more experienced she became the more complicated the dance moves became. Flicking her wrists upwards Shadiya raised her arms above her head. This was the teasing moment. Her stomach rolled with her as she swayed her hips. It was as if she were finally aware of her abilities and was now dancing just to dance. It was no longer exploring, but rather demonstrating her knowledge.
Her feet tapping against the floor, the girl pulled in the dance moves that she had learned in Matori. They were more native, more reminiscent of the island culture that had grown so dear to her. The ocean took over her steps as the desert was left behind along with the shadows of her old life. With it came more twists and a quicker pace.
Ever so gradually her movements were beginning to pick up as she prepared for the final burst of dancing...she just hoped Faamy could move those fingers quickly~

Uncertainty and hesitation fell away from the tune. Faamy couldn't help smiling with the change of mood. It was impossible to not feel it! The elation of discovering and putting to use something one had. Being able to look around and say you could do something without restraint.
As her fingers flew, she relied more on instinct than actually picking notes. She still had a long way to go, but it helped that she'd been playing the lute since she could first place her fingers properly on the strings. The music was brimming with joy. While perhaps not as fast as she wanted to go, she made up the difference with complexity. Excited trills gave spark to the melody to keep pace with Shade's clear expression of delight.

Shadiya wanted to laugh with delight. She truly was enjoying this! Before she had just danced to amuse, but tonight felt different. Perhaps it was the music, but the girl was pouring her soul into the dance as well. It was her story, her life's ups and downs, that she danced tonight. The suddenly complexity with the music was perfect and allowed Shadiya the grace to slow down as she pleased.
While she had twisted with intensity to the point that her skirts lifted up into the air revealing those well toned legs covered with ribboned silks, the girl began to move again. Instead of staying in one place, Matori, she was branching out again. This time though she wasn't running or restrained, but rather exploring. It was a new place with a new melody~
For this was where her story was currently. With that in mind Shadiya began to slow her movements down as she was more comfortable with her surroundings. It was the beginning of something new and her dance revealed that she still had a road to travel. For now though she could just slow her steps and begin to settle....
Arms tossing back behind her head the girl arched her back as she swirled on her feet before her legs stretched out along the stage. Ever so gracefully she too stretched out along the dance floor before laying on her side. It was a moment of rest and of conclusion. Lowering her arms to stretch before her face, Shadiya smiled. Now that had been exhilarating!

Faamy's notes remained complex and excited, but she added a broadness to open the tune up. Shade's movements showed the embrace of a new life. Finding true freedom, whatever that might mean. The story had opened for endless possibilities, filled with hope and life...
And now, there could be peace of mind. Rest. Rejuvenating one's self to prepare for the next adventure to come.
With Shade's final movement and Faamy's final note, the crowd immediately responded, clapping and hollering with praise. Even the hecklers in the crowd couldn't bring themselves to tease, fully taken in by the performance.
Faamy laughed with delight, stepped forward again, and bowed to the crowd. All it took was a glance to see Shade's smile, making Faamy all the happier. This had to be one of her best performances yet~

The applause made all of her shaking muscles worth it. Shadiya didn't even care to watch how much coin was tossed her way. This dance had been so refreshing...she really owed Faamy for her help. Smiling the girl glanced towards the other and gave a small bow. "Thank you."
Tossing her shoulder over her hair, the girl managed to straighten up her skirts before moving towards the crowd. Hopefully that had been enough to prove her worth~ If she was lucky she could perform here again a few times. She hoped that Faamy would be willing to play with her. She definitely owed her for this one~
Perhaps even tonight she would finally sleep well. Especially since such a dance easily wore out her body and mind~ Even that thought made Shadiya's smile brighten.
