Last time Ciel had done work placement, it had been at the Academy's orphanage, but this time, her work was at a local daycare. The experience was very different--the children here didn't live here, they just stayed here while their parent or parents were working. The issues they had day-to-day were less...intense. There was less crying, less loneliness, less angst--which wasn't to say that there was none, but it was...somehow softer than it had been at the Academy. Ciel found herself a little disappointed in how well the children here could handle life's little inconveniences, but they were children nonetheless, and Ciel loved children. It was nice to play with them and talk to them. Furthermore, the slower pace gave the workers here more time to give her advice. In all, Ciel enjoyed working at the local daycare for a few weeks. It was almost relaxing!

I forgot that I needed to quote you, I'm so sorry!
Aten didn't mind that his teacher was unable to assign a placement to him. His extensive work at the academy was already under his belt, so baby sitting someone else's children was entirely fine by him.
Aten played games with the teacher's grandkids and younger children, feeding them when they got hungry and tending to them when they cried or scraped their knees. There was a complete range of children present. Infants, freshlings, juniors, and even a senior or two. Aten couldn't keep himself from smirking at the idea that perhaps his teacher had more in common with Aten then he had first realized.
Of course, Aten passed the examination with flying colours. It had been ab it unnerving to witness the teacher leering through the window at them for the several hours he was with their family, but he understood why. Aten just had to keep strong and not let his discomfort show.
Eliot was visiting the academy nursery that day working with the freshlings who weren't quite yet ready to go to school. It was another job he hadn't considered in his dream to become a caretaker. Eliot wasn't sure at this point what he could do with his child care education when he graduated but the teacher had given him a lot to think about in the past classes. Eliot wondered what else he would learn in the child care class before he gathered all the credits he needed. Eliot smiled as he looked at the orphan's freshlings, this job was important too, maybe more so than being a caretaker.
Aten was dead tired. Between working at the Academy, raising his own children, and taking classes, he was running out of steam. He just had to make it through a couple more classes and then he'd be in the clear, and his classes would finally be finished.
For now, his work was struggling as he was nearing the end of his college days. He barely was able to make any jars of baby food, but at least he managed to make some!
Making baby food, was so easy and fun for Eliot he was able to make 15 jars of baby food before he started to get tired of working with the mushy baby food. Eliot wondered if he would want to take care of infants in childcare or focus more on freshlings and juniors.
Tanwen measured everything carefully before combining it. Each jar was meticulously measured and mixed before being jarred and set aside for later. She carefully dated the jars for both the current date and the date it would go bad. She hoped that the flavor would be good, children were rarely ever happy with their vegetables, but she had done her best to mask the flavor with delicious but nutritious fruits instead. Just a small handful for the flavor. With the final jar done she stepped back and smiled at her handiwork. 16 jars finished and ready to go.

Making baby food!
"We have already discussed what kinds of fruits and veggies children like, but we're going to revist this lesson again. Please grab your desired fruits and veggies and let's make as many jars as we can!"

1-20 - this number indicates how many jars you were able to make in class! The higher the number, the better you did!
Eliot must have been off his game this month, last time he had no trouble making 15 jars of baby food. This time he was only able to make 5. Maybe it was because half his mixtures came out bitter. Eliot was covered in baby food by the end of the class.
