He looked at her when she rushed out, figuring that she was completely worried about him but he gently smiled, "Im perfectly fine, Im sorry to worry you." He said seeing that her eyes seemed red, "Are you okay? You seem like you have been upset lately and I have been worried about you." he stated as he walked over to her, careful of the glass, "Im worried about you, whats been bothering you?" He asked gently to her.

As she was kneeling down to pick up pieces of broken glass, Cody was walking over asking her if she is okay, pointing out that she has been upset as of lately. Did...did he drop the glass on purpose to get her out of her room just to talk to her? Well she didn't feel like talking about it. She already told him that it's her fault that people aren't going to come back to his bakery and as of right now, she has officially ruined his livelihood. He may not believe so, but that has been her history with people ever since she came to experience the human world. Everything she touches goes to ruin. She said nothing to him as she picked up the last piece of glass visible to her eyes and walked with the pieces to the trash can in the kitchen. Then she picked up a broom and dust pan before returning to the floor that still had tiny pieces of glass she can't pick up and began sweeping it to the dust pan, all while ignoring Cody. ""

Cody looked at her, watching as she cleaned up the larger pieces of glass but noticed that she had been ignoring him the entire time. He was a bit annoyed, looking at her, "Will you just speak with me Natalie!?" He asked her slightly miffed, "I want to help you just as much as you want to help me yet you keep shutting me out... why!?" He asked firmly, knowing that when she was finished that she would retreat to her room so he stood in the way to her room.

╚══════════════╝ Cody is getting upset with Natalie. She didn't want that to happen but she didn't want to talk to him. Right bow she is feeling too upset and sad to talk. All she wants to do is finish cleaning up and go back to bed. With the broom and dustpan, she swept what was left of the tiny pieces of glasses and drop them off in the trash can in the kitchen before going back upstairs. Now he was standing in her way to room because he wanted to know why she was behaving like this. She doesn't want to say anything to him, so she easily lift him out of the way and set him down gently away from her door before going into her room and locking the door. "...You don't understand...you never will..."

Cody saw that she finished cleaning and noticed that he was in the way. He gasped as she lifted him gently out of the way, which he had forgotten that she was much stronger then he had remembered. He saw her lock the door and he was about to knock and ask her to come out when he thought he heard her behind the door. He already quiet sounding voice sounded muffled through the wooden door but he looked at the door, "I never will understand unless you talk to me... but if you want to be left alone, I will leave... I guess I will see you at work in the morning." He said as he hobbled to his room to get some rest but he want to help her so bad.

╚══════════════╝ Would Cody understand if he tells her? Natalie isn't sure and she is scared to talk to him. Not because he terrified her but its just something so personal that it can ruin this strange friendship she has been building with him so far. It goes beyond what happened at the bakery, but it triggered emotions that she hasn't experienced in a while along with memories she rather forget. Once again she found herself crying herself to sleep, this time no further interruptions from Cody throughout the night. Morning came and still she did not get up from bed as she contemplated on whether or not she should go into work today. By the time she made the decision to show up regardless, she was already going to be late so she had no time for a shower nor fix her fair. All she can do is get dressed just like yesterday and enter the bakery from the back before putting on an apron and begin to make the best pastries, breads and everything else the bakery needed all on her own. How strange is it that no one else seems to be working in the kitchen today. Why is that? ""

Cody found that she didn't come to his room to talk so he sighed and got ready for bed. When he woke up the next morning, he found that she hadn't come out of her room and her door was locked. He thought it over, he wanted to go knock to tell her that it was time for work, but he decided that she had been through enough for a bit. He went and got ready for work, finding that as opening hours came and she still didn't show. He soon opened the shop and when she would finally come down, she would find that he had been working both the register and baking. He would take some orders, some ordered things in the case he baked before flipping the sign. Others he had to cook to order, but aside from that, people were coming still and ordering baked goods and a few of them seemed like the ones from yesterday, they came back.

╚══════════════╝ Cody...he was working all by himself...with an injured leg he had been dealing with customers and having to bake any treats he didn't have or needed to make to order. Because of that, orders were falling behind and Natalie had to pick up the slack. There was no time to feel sorry for him or ask if he is okay. If people don't get their orders soon, they'll get upset and never come back, and she already scared away too many people as it is. At least, thats how she feels. While in the kitchen, she took control of all the orders that needed to be done ASAP. With every new order she received, she had to multi-task between the new and old orders. In a span of two hours, she managed to fill the bakery with all treats it needed and all the made to order pastries people asked for when Cody was by himself. Now her time is being spent with any new made to order desserts people were ordering and awaited a call for new treats that bakery is running low on. ""

Cody saw that she finally arrived and helped him catch up on the orders. He was happy that she showed up and he helped catch up till she had full control of the kitchen and was caught up. He went back up front and mostly stayed up there till one customer wished to apologize to her which Cody walked into the back, glad that their was a slow point in the day but he looked at her, "Natalie, someone from yesterday would like to see you, care to hear what they have to say?" He asked curiously to her.

She had to stop when he told her that someone from yesterday wanted to see her and was asked if she wanted to hear what they have to say. Even though she knows what will happen, she didn't want to disappoint or upset him, so she set down her pipe bag and made sure that her hat was on securely so no one would try to remove it before making her way to the front of the store. Once again she feel some intense stares on her given her height and build, which kept her from looking with head high. Rather she just looked down at the floor waiting for an insult or hateful comment to come her way. ""

Cody looked at her when she seemed hesitant but as she gently walked out, which as she kept her head low, she would probably be surprised by what she heard next, "Natalie... I... I wanted to say that I am sorry about what happened... I shouldn't have reacted like that when the guy got angry like that. I shouldn't have reacted just because you looked different, thank you for making such great baked goods, I am happy that your here working with Cody." Spoke the woman, she was legitimately sorry about having reacted in such a negative way.

It was an apology for what happened yesterday when she among others got upset over the fact that a monster was making treats for them. After leaving off her apology with a "thank you" for making the baked treats everyone is enjoying and expressing her gratitude for working alongside Cody, two tears fell from her eyes as she refused to look up toward the customer. She couldn't tell if she should be happy or sad and she didn't want to break down for everyone to see, so she slowly nodded toward the woman before turning around and going back to the bakery. Despite being in a confused state, she proceeded to continue her work on decorating a cake with floral patterns the best she could. ""

Cody looked at her when she seemed confused but as she went to go back into the kitchen, he thought it over as he walked in with her, "Natalie... are you okay... I would have figured that you would have felt better knowing that everything was okay." he said thinking that she had no reason to feel bad for herself, the business was still successful. He looked at her, "Natalie, if something is bothering you, you can talk to me, if you don't want to talk though I still understand." he said as he just wanted her to be okay.

It got to point that she couldn't ignore him anymore because her hands were starting to shake and she didn't want to ruin the floral pattern she had been working so hard on. Besides, there were cookies in the oven that she had to take out right now, so she put on oven mitts, opened the oven doors that the cookies were in, took out the tray and placed it on cooling rack. Then she removed her oven mitts and finally spoke to Cody, "...No human apologized to me...ever...I...I was always at fault...they were always right..."

Cody saw that she kept to herself as she worked which he didn't just stand around as he helped around the kitchen. When she finally spoke, he lightly laughed, "Really, well thats the thing to learn about human behavior, we like to think that we are right but we aren't always right." he stated thinking it over, "Something about growing up is learning new things and having to get use to changes in life." he explained, "Let it sink in but embrace it that you were in the right for once." He said kindly as he went back to the front to get back to work up there.
