☆〗▯::Do not beg for pets. Just don't.
☆〗▯::Metamorphose Sanctuary is intended to be an RP-based shop. RP is required to obtain Metas.
☆〗▯::There is no current limit on Metas you may own, just be sure you can handle them. However, there is a wait time for the acquisition of Metas: You must wait one month before you may take on a new Meta unless you have special permission from Broken.
☆〗▯::Do not use mules to bypass the time rules for acquiring Metas.
☆〗▯::Due to the nature of Metas, there is no co-ownership allowed. We apologize.
☆〗▯::This also means that cosplays are not allowed. Period.
☆〗▯::Payment is due within 24 hours of winning, unless worked out with Broken.
☆〗▯::Do not sell your Metas under any circumstances. If you do not want your Meta anymore, please PM the shop mule or Broken to arrange something for them.
☆〗▯::Do not copy, steal or alter any graphics or Meta images used for the shop. You may use your metas for signatures, banners etc in personal use.
- RP RULES
- ☆〗▯::You do not need a Meta to post in the shop thread or in OOC threads within the guild.
☆〗▯::You no longer need to own a Meta before you may roleplay in the guild, in fact, it is encouraged for you to RP before you can obtain a Meta.
☆〗▯::Please try to be literate and write in proper english when rping in the guild.
☆〗▯::RP is in third person in the guilds. First person is used for Diary Entries, though isn't a requirement.
☆〗▯::There is no god-moding/poweplaying. Be practical about interacting with other Metas/players. Use the battle system as explained in the guild if you need to.
☆〗▯::Roleplaying is recommended at PG-13 however, cursing is allowed in guild threads only for RP purposes. (Be reasonable about the age of the Meta though.)
☆〗▯::Humans do exist in the world, and they are not exactly fond of the Metas. Humans can also rarely wield magic.
☆〗▯::Non-human races exist in the world as well though very limited in numbers. They pity the Metas but are still unwilling to help.
☆〗▯::Evil characters are allowed and loved. However, keep the extreme violence to a minimum in General RP posts or place a trigger warning the subject of the RP.
☆〗▯::Fighting and even death is allowed, just use common sense when Rping.
☆〗▯::As mentioned, death is a very real thing that can happen to Metas. It must be agreed upon by those involved. If an agreement can't be made, the ruling will always stand with no one dying.
☆〗▯::Do not RP sexual violence, abuse, torture, or other grim topics in the threads. (It can be VAGUELY mentioned as part of a characters backstory or even as part of their story as carefully discussed in private with all those involved. THAT'S IT.) If this rule gets out of hand, Broken will rule out all stories containing these themes even slightly mentioned.
☆〗▯::If there are any posts deemed inappropriate in the guild threads, it will be deleted without warning and the participants contacted. Repeated offenders will be blacklisted.

_______A:: You can RP and set up a journal immediately. After some time RPing, you'll be awarded RP points which you can redeem for artwork. Likewise, you can wait for an event such as a flatsale, raffle, or auction. Or you may check to see if custom slots are open.

_______A:: Yes. You will still need your journal approved before you start RPing.

_______A:: Yes, however, Metas are surprisingly high maintenance! We strongly encourage new owners to limit themselves in the beginning until they get used to the shop.

_______A:: Through RP means, they can definitely lose their wing or wings.

_______A:: No. These type of Metas would just be too difficult to fit into the Metas world and has been disallowed.

_______A:: You may choose whatever item you like as long as it is appropriate. Keep in mind the prompt of the child accepting the item. Only one item per Meta. No repeated items, so please look over the owners list to make sure your idea isn't already being used. Please see the Meta Items Guide Post in the guild for more details on choosing an item.

_______A:: Parent characters can be just about any race. However, keep in mind that most mythical races are extinct or very rare in Meta's timeline. The scientists that created Metas were Elves and so it is not too uncommon to have elven parents. MOST parents characters are human though, since humans are the majority of people living in the Meta universe. Humans also rarely develop magic. NPC Metas can also be parent characters. If you have any questions about parent characters, please talk to a staff member.
☆ █ ▒▒ ::"Can I have a human as a Meta?"
_______A:: No. However, if your parent character also has human children, they are more than welcome to participate in the roleplay. Metas and humans live separately for the most part, and there is some stigma. Many humans aren't comfortable with the idea of super powered children. Please keep in mind that since most of the fantastical races of the Meta universe are near extinct, having children that are not Metas and not human is very, very unlikely. That means that if you have kids from another shop that are not human, please talk to Broken_Illumination or a shop manager before referencing them in your Meta child's diary.

_______A:: Yes. Metas are intended for Roleplay use.
☆ █ ▒▒ ::"What happens if I don't RP them?"
_______A:: They will not grow at all and will be eventually phased out of plots.
☆ █ ▒▒ ::"What if I RP a lot but don't want my Meta to grow yet?"
_______A:: Great news! Once your meta meets the requirements for growth, we will ask you if you'd like for your Meta to grow. If you tell us yes, they will grow as normal. If you tell us no, your Meta will be placed on hold indefinitely until you message us to tell us to put them on the grow list. (This way you can wait to grow them at the same time as other Metas if desired.)
☆ █ ▒▒ ::"Why do we need to RP the starting prompt in flatsales?"
_______A:: The prompt is the start of something special with your Meta. This will signify the initial personality of your child and parent. As well as justification for the item they were given.
☆ █ ▒▒ ::"Can I roleplay if I don't own a Meta?"
_______A:: Of course! Please contact a staff member to discuss how you will roleplay. You will still have to follow all RP rules outlined.
- GROWTH Q&A

_______A:: Yes, definitely! Only Adults and Elders may breed and it must be agreed upon by both parties. See the breeding section for more details.
☆ █ ▒▒ ::"How do you feel about homosexual breeding?"
_______A:: As you may not know, the first breeding ever in V.4 was a lesbian couple. This means that we are perfectly fine with all sexualities in breeding. The nature of the “breeding” is especially designed to accommodate all Metas for that very reason!
☆ █ ▒▒ ::"Can Metas fly?"
_______A:: If the race has wings, the Meta does not learn how to fly until about teen to adult stage. They may practice or work up to it in younger stages however. Other forms of flying include levitation and telekinesis, etc.
☆ █ ▒▒ ::"How do we/they figure out their abilities?"
_______A:: You make them up as you go. Just be realistic. All powers must relate to the item that was combined with the Meta. There's an entire thread about powers and how they work in the guild Here.
