I'm guessing you did not get the Broken Steel dlc and/or did not play new vegas where the enclave were basically a handful of old people.

i'll probably end up with the railroad since deacon is so cool. I'm building the teleporter at the brotherhood though since I was doing sidequests and accidentally went with them. i only use the brotherhood for power armor storage and free money for finding documents and blood samples. I hate Danse. Maxson's coat is so cool though... I wonder if I can get it.

I can confirm that you can get his coat, It's my favorite outfit. You have to kill him and the moment you do, the brotherhood turns hostile and you are no longer aligned with them, this includes the entirety of the prydwyn, Danse, who is know killable, and every BOS you meet out in the wasteland, and vertibirds come after you. It's a steep price for fashion but worth it in everyway I say.

hmmmm... I might have to wait until after i finish the teleporter at boston airport before doing that. I don't wear singular outfits usually, because i have armor pieces with special benefits that add up to higher defense than singular outfits, but after seeing that coat, the minuteman general's outfit, and giving deacon an armored tuxedo i'm considering i'll consider it. what could be more awesome than smacking a super mutant in the face while wearing a kevlar tux?

I wanna start a new game but i'll side with the railroad this time. Is it worth it besides the achievement?

i just beat it with the railroad today and it was amazing. They have the best characters, my favorite companion in the whole game, and you also get the railroad rifle if you stick with them long enough. The railroad rifle kicks a**. They also gave me a gauss rifle for completing a side mission for them. I say the railroad is the best faction in the game. it is very much worth it.
