Mega Stone Customization Examples Hey guys! We've been working on some of the megastone adjustments and just wanted to check in with y'all before we get too deep into this! A lot of the game stat boost are really spread out, and since we're keeping a cap of 1.6 total stat boosts for the megastones, this could mean a lot of 1.1 adjustments. This can be pretty disappointing for some, and we've had complaints over the math in the system already, so we just wanted to confirm whether you guys wanted a system directly reflective of the game, or a slightly more simplified version with some of the stat changes being adjusted according to their moves, and the system, to simplify the amount of math some. Examples of each are below : ) "Reflective of the Game" Examples Abomasite: Effect: Mega Evolves Abomasnow Increases Attack and Sp. Attack by 1.2, and Defense and Sp. Def by 1.1, each Aerodactylite: Effect: Mega Evolves Aerodactyl Increases Attack by 1.2, and Sp. Attack, Defense, Sp. Defense, and Speed by 1.1 Salamencite: Mega Evolves Salamence Increases Attack by 1.3, and Sp. Attack, Defense, and Speed by 1.1 Garchompite: Mega Evolves Garchomp Increases Attack by 1.2, and Sp. Attack, Defense, Sp. Defense, and Speed by 1.1"Simplified" Examples Abomasite: Effect: Mega Evolves Abomasnow Increases Attack and Sp. Attack by 1.2, and Sp. Def by 1.2, each Aerodactylite: Effect: Mega Evolves Aerodactyl Increases Attack by 1.3, Defense by 1.2, and Speed by 1.1 Salamencite: Mega Evolves Salamence Increases Attack and Sp. Attack by 1.2, and Defense, and Speed by 1.1 Garchompite: Mega Evolves Garchomp Increases Attack and Sp. Attack by 1.2, and Defense and Sp. Defense by 1.1

I have a question! Or a concern maybe :p I only noticed because I love absol <3
I noticed back when there was a post for this the first time, for abosolite it had the boost being 1.3 for attack, 1.1 sp.attack, and 1.2 speed (I think). But the actual boosts the stones give those attacks in the games is +20, 40, 40. So even though attack is the highest stat, it seems like the boost should favor special attack over normal attack O:
So I was kinda wondering, are you basing the stats on the changes, or on the overall highest stats a pokemon has? I'd like to vote that it is based on the changes! (But whatever you beautiful peoples choose I'll be happy because custom stones are so cool! )

If there are times when two stats are the same, especially if its speed and another stat, are you guys always going to prioritize speed, or could you choose the other stat? (if speed already has a boost, I think other stats getting more of a boost is more helpful. But that might just be me! ) Let's see how the poll goes then 3nodding

We tried to allude to it with the above examples, but if speed is a boosted stat, sometimes even if it is one of the most boosted stats, it will generally only receive a boost of 1.1, because of the lesser priority most people give it, and, in general, the lower importance it plays in battles : )

TheWhiteDragonfly Great! I love that you guys always put a lot of thought into the changes you make 3nodding Thanks for answering my questions sweatdrop Hehe, we certainly try to! Haha Goodness knows we still miss stuff, but we try and discuss and consider things before putting them to action. So thank you very much for that! >w< And of course! : ) Always happy to help try and clarify things
