Okay, I'll be the unpopular one. I actually want Jean-Claude to be the daddy. I know, I KNOW! JC and fatherhood = probably no no. But I can just see Jean-Claude being so caring, protecitve, and loving for a child of his. you already see how he is with a Anita...all of the above (well, as much as she allows).

I agree with you; Jean-Claude would be one hell of a daddy if it came to it... but I don't think it's likely for a vampire of his age to be fathering children. Then again, we never know! LKH is always surprising us.

FenrisVollmond Neko_Bast Neko_Kitsuni Regarding the lycanthropy issue... since lycanthropy is transmitted through the blood, isn't it feasible that it would be passed on to the child? I had always thought that it couldn't be.....but a female Lycanthrop can't carry a child......so the isue never arouse. Anita dosn't have the change, and it is in her blood....... eek A female lycanthrope who got the disease passed to her by family blood can carry a child... because they choose when they shift, they're not linked to the moon cycle. A female reptilian lycanthrope no matter how she got it can carry a child... only not really. She can just choose to lay eggs. The rest of the women? screwed over. Is that the right choice of words? Hey, so if Anita's passive strain (I really have no idea what you're talking about since I haven't read Micah but going by what you're saying...) is of a reptilian strain... could she just lay eggs and have one of the guys sit on 'em to keep 'em warm? Yeah, I pulled that out of nowhere. woot! lol Well it's not that shes going to shift just that she has differnt types of lycanthoropy in her blood, So in my opion, If she keeps the baby, I belive it's very possible for the baby to develope lycanthoropy. The question running through my mind is what kind of lycanthorope is it going to be?

My money's still on panwere for how the diff. strains in Anita's blood and depending on the father... if it's Richard though I'm going to cry and then burn my book... and then go buy a new copy or something. I think Richard should have been sterilized a long time ago just because of all that emotional baggage. Someone mentioned that he'd want to get married and that would kill Anita and him because of the ardue (pardon my spelling) and of course 'You can't feed on me' bs is something I want so badly to kick him square in the crotch for. As long as Richard isn't the father I'm happy, actually I'd love for Nathaniel to be the father, he loves Anita so much and goes out of his way to make her happy... unlike bagboy Richard... god I hate him... but enough from me and my ranting. I'm hoping for Nathaniel

I believe that anyone of the guys except Micah, unless he gets a surgery done so he can have kids, could be the father. Because remember taht the one women became pregnant the an elder vampires child and concieved the child. So I think that Asher, Jean-Claude, and Damian could be the farther. If the father is either Richard or Nathaniel the lycanthropy could be past on to the child. Also it is likely for the child to gain all or some of Anita's powers. I think that it would be rather interesting if Anita does have a child. Anita would have help from most of the guys in her life she would not have to worry about the baby getting hurt because there will always be someone to help out. I think that each one of the guys in Anita's life would make good fathers in one way or another.
