The little witch opened her eyes after yet another vivid dream. Her hair looked like a complete mess. She yawned widely and hopped out of bed. She pulled up the covers and set down her stuffed bear atop her pillow. She patted its head and then went into the kitchen.

She pulled out a bowl for herself and poured some cereal. It was from the city that was quite the distance. She had to use a broom to get there. She didn't like using it, though. It's a bit uncomfortable to sit on a broom. Not to mention the flight mechanics are extremely sensitive to every bit of movement.

The milk she took out of the fridge was from one of the cattle at the ranch. It was nice and fresh, so Kiyomi didn't complain. She poured some of the bottle's contents into the bowl of nutritional value and then put the cork back inside of it. She had to save more for the next breakfast.

After finishing her cereal, Kiyomi checked the calendar. "I guess Yuuno will be at the festival then... Okay...." she said to herself. She sighed a bit, wishing she could attend. She knew that it was better off that she avoid it altogether though. Her presence would bring up a lot of commotion, and that wasn't worth the risk.

Kiyomi settled for a nice, warm bath.

Obviously, Kiyomi was fretting about what to do. She placed the envelope of cash on her kitchen table. Her lips quivered a bit. She just looked so old. Yuuno was making fun of her. A little kid paid her respects like she was actually an old granny. It really put her down in the dumps. All because she fell asleep in the bath tub...

She scuffed her slippered feet over to a cabinet. It was filled with tubes and bottles of strange liquids. She took one of them and squeezed it into the bath tub's supply of water. It had an image of the sun on it and the phrase "SPF 30". After that, she ran over to put it away.

Next she went to the cabinet to trade tubes. The next one had a green leaf and a coconut on it. It was just lotion meant to alleviate dry skin. She then went into the kitchen. What in the world would she need there? Some salmon from the ice box, obviously. She carried a packaged amount of it in one hand, then reached around for a white cheese that was wrapped in a clear surface.

Finally, her food escapades were over. She closed the ice box with the other. She bit into the wrapping of both protein-filled foods and tossed them in; salmon was the first to go, then the mozzarella cheese. Wait, the search for food wasn't over just yet. She had to get some lettuce. She scurried to the kitchen one last time and started to shred the lettuce apart from its origin. Each leaf of it was tossed into the murky water.

She started chanting in Latin once more. She grabbed her large stirring stick. Her mother's name was engraved into it. Kiyomi smiled a bit and moved the water and ingredients in a counterclockwise motion. If she turned it clockwise, odds were she would die immediately from being...too old.

A fog started to emerge, entering every one of the little girl's pores. She inhaled the scent of a delicious meal and suddenly transformed back to her proper self. She just felt so relieved to be back to normal. This called for a celebration!

"Doesn't Yuuno make dinner by now? I'm gonna go see if he's got anything good in store for me!"
