- A good September to one and all. This month marks the return of the manga to Gaia and the build up to the Halloween event, or H2k15, next month. While nothing has been confirmed or denied regarding the Halloween event, the timing of everything has lead some of us to believe that the Gino vs. Nyx plot could very well be the plot for the Halloween event. With that in mind, I've designed a very simple marketing campaign for the GCA, that can also be used by the Nyx Cult, we can use to drum up interest in the GCA and the return of the plot in general.
What I've come up with is a very simple signature banner that we can use from now until the end of the Halloween event, if it does indeed turn out to be Gino vs. Nyx, that features our official logo and the phrase "Which side are you on". If we get as many active members to put this in their signatures and link it back to the GCD thread, without any mention of it being the GCA; Goddess support; or even Gino support, and just post around as normal it will hopefully get people curious enough to click on the link and check out our thread. Then once the Halloween event begins, again if it is Gino vs. Nyx, we change the link to our event thread and again post like normal and get people to join our side in the fight. It's a simple enough campaign that it could very well work to our advantage.
Here's a sampling of what I've come up with for us to use. I can change up the colors scheme to the four towns branch colors instead of the whole antique gold and navy theme I have going on with it if anyone wants one to match their town loyalty as well.
I'm thinking the sooner we run with this campaign the better.
(Ran this idea by Slick and while (s)he loves the idea recent real life stuff might make it hard for the other side to pull this off as well. Either way, I'd love for us to at least run with it.)
