eroshiyda Well, I believe in relationships, patterns, and numbers; and astrology includes all three. I believe that everything can be reduced down to numbers, and that the universe is one big equation. Numbers have relationships with each other, and they form patterns from the very simple to the very complex. I believe that astrology is very close to solving this equation. Are you speaking metaphorically, or in actual fact? I mean, do you really think that everything can be reduced to (is somehow constituted by) numbers, whatever they may actually be? Or do you only mean that everything can be described by numbers, and that based on these descriptions, further details can be predicted through the manipulation of numbers? Just curious, because I'm of the philosophical bent that doesn't believe numbers exist, so to me, a world constituted by numbers is a very interesting idea.

I'm a huge math person, and numbers have always made sense to me. I see everything in numbers. I memorize people's birthdays more easily than their names because they form an id number of sorts for me. Now that I understand astrology, my methods are starting to work increasingly well. I've been obsessed with numerical patterns and equations for as long as I can remember. Astrology just makes sense to me because it's like an equation.

When asked why he believed in Astrology, he responded with, "I have studied it, sir, and you have not." smile
I love that quote, I just can't remember who said it. Beautiful! I was raised with a moderate belief in Astrology, but began studying it fully on my own at the age of 10. It just made my life easier to at least partially predict what was going to happen in that particular time. It followed me through these 8 years, with tragedies in life, love and money.
