Alright, everyone. I know that there seems to be quite a lot of information here. Hell, there is a good portion of stuff to look over. But I promise you, and my mods and older members can attest to it, that it is much easier than it seems to be. This here is a step-by-step guide to what you should read up on first to keep yourself from going crazy.
Step One: Go to the Character Sheet and check out what it looks like. It is where all of your questions will start rising from, but it will also let you know what you have to think about, and get you thinking about what kind of character it is that you want to create.
Step Two: After you have looked the character sheet over, and you are starting to think about what you want to do for your character, you will want to understand Code Cores. I suggest this to be your second stop, because Code Cores are a huge part of who your character is, and what kind of stuff they will have with them. This will help with your character design process and give you insight into the things that you will be doing with your character in the RP.
Step Three: After you have a grasp on what a Code Core is, and what kind of items you might want to use for yours, as well as the bonuses that they can give you, you are going to want to understand the stats that your Code Cores will be buffing! It might look a little confusing at first, but there is a very helpful community in this guild, and me (Raven62) and DiceBlack will be more than happy to help you through it.
Besides! Your first step into the RP is a one on one battle with a Mod so that they can help show you the combat system and how all the stats properly work! ^__^
Step Four: Now that you have a grasp on the stats (maybe), you should be looking into creating your full character. You can go back to the Character Sheet and use the code section at the bottom to start making your character and then PM that character sheet to Raven62 or DiceBlack. We will be able to look over your profile and let you know if anything needs a bit of work, or if you can mosey on ahead and start roleplaying.
When your character has been approved it will be posted in the profiles section and added to our profile listing.
Step Five: Now that you have a character, and you are going to be starting in the B.A.I.T.R Base of whatever continent you have chosen as your home, you will need to check out the next two intertwined sections: Guide to Enemies and How Battles Work. This will give you a grasp on the foes you will be fighting as well as the way in which you handle battling them. It all might seem a little bit overwhelming, but again, the mods are here for a reason! No question is stupid, and we want to guide you through the beginnings so that you can flourish and enjoy the system!
Step Six: After looking over the battle system and getting a general idea of how things work, you can then look at the last couple of mechanics that this guild have. The first of the two I will mention is the tactical advantages. You won't start with one of these, but after you master your first A.I. Core you will get your first Tactical Advantage, and it will be handy to take a peek at all the different ones you might just get. The second, and last mechanic to understand will be traveling. There are many different locations to travel to, and this will let you know what it takes to get there, as well as what you might find along the way.
