I. The Basics



A. RACE


Shardan:
The Shardan have three tribes: Chaos, the soldiers of the Shardan, Serenity, the philosophers and the intellectuals of the race, and Balance, those who protect only the Shardan and rebuild what needs to be rebuilt.

Their culture is rather calm despite them all being giant death machines. Very peaceful and philosophical beings they strive to understand the world around them but are often confused by other races who have biological differences.

Monarch's Hand
The Monarch's Hand are known for their telekinetic abilities.

Their culture is very proper and respectable. If they have objections about anything, they aren't afraid to say so in a respectable manner. They are kind yet rather reserved. Not many Non-Monarch's Hand share their religion and even then less are allowed to experience it fully because it is rather closely tied into the knowledge that grants them their powers.

Nekomian Empire
Nekos are the best at espionage and scouting and thus make excellent snipers. They are also home to the Legendary Tech Mages.

Once a proud warrior race somewhat like feudal japan, they cling to their old honors yet its not often you see any warrior Nekos. Despite their debauchery and open life styles they have very strict morals.Though their culture relies heavily on "honorable warrior" ancestry, the Neko are VERY physically weak. Even their heavy lifters can barely lift 100 lbs, though they are quite fast and quite accurate, a very smart people.

Humanity
The only race not included in the council or the galactic community.

They are the most adaptable race with high intelligent, and endless determination. Humans have a very long history of war crimes, and bloodshed, nearly being hunted to extinction in the first great human wars simply because they were too hazardous and toxic for the galaxy.

B. CLASS




Shardan Classes

Warrior: Known for their powerful bodies, heavy strength and metal bodies.
Stat Bonus: +4 to str +4 con -2 dex -3 cha +7 armor +5 health

Marauder: Marauders have their bodies made from exceedingly light Nekomian metals. With smaller frames these warriors are fast and smart.
Stat Bonus: +2 str +3 dex +2 con +1 int -1 cha +5 armor +5 health

Shaman: They look like the usual Shardan warrior with large pieces of the armor cut away. The shaman uses his own energies in combat.
Bonus Stats: +2 str -1 dex +2 con +4 int +3 wis +3 armor


Monarch's Hand Classes

Adept/Sage: The adepts are powerful telekinetic users, their powers extend into fire, ice, lighting, or flesh.
Bonus Stats: -1 str -1 con +3 int +4 wis

Shade: These individuals use their powers to mute the sound around them, and their tech to bend the light hiding them from view.
Bonus Stats: +3 dex -2 con +2 int +3 cha

War Sage: Direct all their powers inward to boost strength and regeneration.
Bonus Stats: +3 str +1 dex +2 con -1 int -1 wis


Nekomian Empire classes

Operative:No finer spies or snipers
Bonus Stats: -2 str +5 dex -3 con +4 cha

Tech knight: These brave soldiers sacrifice their incredible movement speed and agility in favor of being able to take a hit and deliver powerful strikes against the enemy.
Bonus Stats: +2 int +2 wis +3 cha

Tech mage: Sacrificing half their brain to be replaced with the finest technological advances Specialize in fire, ice, lighting, and telekinetics.
Bonus Stats: - 4 str -2 dex -3 con +5 int +4 wis +2 cha

Human Class

Human Soldier: Humans are adaptive and jack of all trades sorts. A human can go from front lines, to sniper, to hacker. It just depends on what they are carrying.
Bonus Stats: +1 to all stats +1 to two additional stats

IV. Battle Statistics


A. WEAPONS


You are allowed 1 Main Hand weapon, and 1 Secondary weapon. These are based on your class unless you have a reasonable excuse for how you got your hands on another races weapons.

Shardan Main Hand

Tungsten Warhammer 1d10 (Crit will cause all nearby enemies to fear check)

Tungsten Skirmish Sword: 1d8 (fast weapon, if Crit occurs instantly begin second attack, cannot occur twice in one turn)

Crystal Staff: 1d4 ( nothing happens on natural 1)

Shardan Tungsten Rifle: 1d6 ( contains 10 rounds, on crit ignores shield)

Shardan Secondary

Tungsten Vibro Knife: 1d6 (Vibrates with sonic waves, can be left in wound for 1d4 per turn until removed)

Liquid Accellerant Pistol: 1d4 (contains six rounds, crit crits three rounds doubling 3d4)


Monarch's Hand Main

Ceremonial Sword: 1d6 (crit is x3)

Enhancer's Hammer: 1d8 (knock back on crit enemy is then prone - 5 to AC for one turn)

Sage Staff: 1d4 (crit grants +2 to all stats for 3 turns. Stacks)

Plasma Rifle: 1d6 (contains 7 rounds, targeted enemy gets -3 AC during attack)

Monarch's Hand Secondary

Energy Knife: 1d4 (can damage environment)

Plasma pistol: 1d4 ( contains 5 rounds,plasma burns, Crit burns for 1d4 until foe dies or extinguishes fire. Can ignite environment accellerants)

Nekomian Empire Main

Electro Sword: 1d6 (Crit generates chain lighting 1d4 on all present enemies)

The Show Stopper Hammer: 1d8 (can stop heavy enemies in mid jump with reflex roll)

Tech Staff: 1d4 (once per fight can activate overdrive. Overdrive: +2 all stats 1hp regen per turn for four turns)

Operative Sniper Rifle: 1d10 (contains 1 round, Crit triggers fast reload)

Nekomian Empire Secondary

Shocker Knife: 1d4 (electric, crit stuns for 1 turn)

Neko Service Pistol: 1d4 (contains 7 rounds crit causes foes to drop weapons)

Human Weapons Main

Tech Bar: (crit causes AOE)

M34C5 Rifle: 1d6 (contains 15 rounds, crit ensures quick reload)

35LG Sniper Rifle 2d4 (contains 1 round, crit causes stagger)

SR18 Shotgun: 1d8 (contains six rounds, crit allows aditional shot on same target, can repeat until target is dead)

Human Weapons Secondary

Combat Knife: 1d4 (crit causes bleeding 1d4 until death)

Service Pistol: 1d4 (contains 9 rounds, crit causes fortitude check for stagger)

B. STATS


Step 1: Head to the Stat Rolling Thread

Step 2: Within your post, clearly label the post with the name of the character you are rolling for. Within the post you will roll 12d6. If your numbers include 6 numbers with a value of 3 or lower, re-roll your stats.

Step 3:

Goddess Kairos rolled 12 6-sided dice: 3, 3, 5, 5, 2, 4, 3, 2, 6, 1, 5, 2 Total: 41 (12-72)

Add the two adjacent numbers and add 6. These are your 5 stats.

(3+3+6)
(5+5+6)
(2+4+6)
(3+2+6)
(6+1+6)
(5+2+6)


Step 4: Assign these numbers to your core stats and add any racial/class/item/feat bonuses. After you have this updated number go HERE to calculate your Attack Modifiers.

Step 5: And voila! Now you have your bast stats and you can plug the MODIFIERS into the formulas to get your Health, AC, and BAB.

1) Health Points sad 10 + shield modifier + constitution modifier)

C. FEATS


Here is where all the universal racial and class feats are. The racial feats can ONLY be chosen by the race designated, the Class feats can ONLY be chosen by the class designated, and the universal feats anyone can choose. Please choose 3.



Shardan Warrior Feats

Dual wield: You must have at least 20 strength for this feat, it allows you to wield two one handed weapons instead of one. Cannot use anything in offhand. [PASSIVE]

Nu!: Allows you reach out and yank or push another person during the enemy attack stage, this can move them out of harms way. [ACTIVE]

Cover: Standing in the way, a Shardan warrior can act as cover for a companion but cannot move from the spot suffering a -5 to Dexterity but grants a +5 to ranged combat attack. [PASSIVE?]

Shardan Marauder feats

Carry Through: So long as he is rushing to an enemy and using melee weapons, the Shardan can attack up to three enemies at once within a few steps of each other. [PASSIVE]

Can Opener: Using a Shardan knife, you can cleave through thick metal. This is to assist getting through doors and or sabotaging vehicles. [PASSIVE?]

Monster Leap: Gets you across gaps that most cannot jump. (Keep in mind that non-Shardans can also be tossed over the same gap) [ACTIVE]

Shardan Shaman Feats

Sanguine River Meditation: During combat, Shardan can sit down and meditate boosting party member's stats, attack and AC by 2. (This can only heal and repair party members) [ACTIVE]

Elemental Farseeing: Can feel the atomic makeup of the next room over and can tell what is inside. [ACTIVE]

Sanguine Burst Doubles melee damage for two turns. Three turn cooldown. [ACTIVE]

Shardan feats

Counter Balance Enhances aiming by weighting down the gun to reduce recoil. Shardan weapons now take their attack bonus from Strength instead of dexterity but suffer a - 2 attack modifier.[PASSIVE]

Tungsten: Gives +4 to armor +5 health. [PASSIVE]

Konk: Allows you to knock out a biological being for transport if combat has not started. [ACTIVE]

"This Way!": Requires 20 str. gets a running start and leaps, will get you through thin walls, most doors and gives a +5 attack. (Can only be used if there is room for it.) [ACTIVE]

Shardan Wrath: If one third of the enemy party near the Shardan squad, and the Shardan's health is not below 50% then all remaining enemies must roll a fear check. [PASSIVE]

"Yeah I Can": Allows Shardans to equip a shield. Must have at least 18 wisdom[PASSIVE]

Monarch's Hand Adept Feats

Telepathic Interruption Adept can attack an individual and he will receive: - 2 to dex, int, and Cha [ACTIVE?]

Point Out: Can link up to all other party members and single out the weaknesses of an enemy giving +3 attack against him. [ACTIVE]

Telepathic Assistance: Boosts all stats of all party members +1 during combat. [ACTIVE]

Monarch's Hands Shade Feats

Vitals:Against the first enemy of the fight, the Shade gets a +5 to natural d20 number.[PASSIVE]

"I Hate You Too:" When Shade falls in combat, detonates 2d20 bomb that hits all within melee range, when revived, Shade has injury level 2[PASSIVE]

Kiting: For up to three turns, shade can successfully keep out of all melee range. [ACTIVE]

Monarch's Hand War Sage Feats

Stopping Power: Next strike will stop enemy from moving and give a -2 dex bonus. (Two turn Cooldown)[PASSIVE]

"Get Up!": When within melee range of downed friendly, War Sage can return party member to consciousness with 5 hp and only level 1 injury. Must carry recovery package.[ACTIVE]

Fire Up: For 4 turns grants +2 str and dex (One turn cooldown)[ACTIVE]


Monarch's Hand Racial Feats

Shaken: All thrown enemies remain prone for one more turn. (Do not receive ranged bonuses)[PASSIVE]

Telekinetic Burst: Ability added to normal attack. Enemies have to roll Fortitude or be thrown, prone when landed, no ranged bonus, (Three turn cooldown). [ACTIVE]

Unstopable: Does not fall until -5 health. Going below 0 hp still results in level 1 injury.[PASSIVE]

Neko Operative Feats

Unstoppable: Puts away weapon for up to three turns to double AC while operative gets away or distracts enemies.[ACTIVE]

High Ground: Hops somewhere up high and cannot be engaged in melee until three attempts to attack him have been made against or by player. Only once per combat. [ACTIVE]

Sneaky Kitty Moves quietly and receives a +5 to dex up until first strike. [ACTIVE]

Neko Tech Knight Feats

Eject: When hit points drop to 0 Knight can eject from armor and continue fight with pistol or knife. New health is taken from current setup without armor boosts, has level 1 injury.[PASSIVE]

From Sterner Stuff: When HP hits 0, injury does not occur. [PASSIVE]

Pretty Big Can of Wupass: When entering combat, knight will knock back the first foe he or she strikes in melee combat. [PASSIVE]

Neko Tech Mage Feats

"No Mortal": Neko no longer needs to sleep, eating drinking and breathing comes in available shifts)

Cybernetic Bones (Immunity to Crits)

Overclock (+1 to all stats, AC, attack, and regeneration. Causes level 1 injury after 4 turns of continued use)

Neko racial feats

Suggestive eyes, (The neko are masters of the suggestive, giving a bonus to persuasion rolls)

The smaller they are (once per a fight, you can avoid what would be a killing blow)

Finesse (add dexterity or strength modifier to attack bonus, whichever is not currently active. on the current weapon.)

Human feats

Genetic engineering (+2 str +2 con)

Blackmarket tech(gives user the ability to pick up other race's tech for use)

Aggravating (can taunt a foe which receives -2 attack bonus towards human until death.)

Natural born leader (+5 Cha)

Universal feats

fireman style (carry a friend or foe to safety or away as fast as you would normally run Requires 20 str, cannot be used on shardan or tech Knight)

Field medic (can grant friendly or self +1 regeneration for four turns or remove a level 1 injury requires recovery package)

Intimidation (with 20 or more str one can intimidate instead of try to persuade)

Tough as they come (50% chance no injury will occur)

Turret master (exchange 1d4 turret for 1d8 turret 15 HP 15 AC, must have support package)

Execution (if you are within melee range of a prone foe with less than 50% health health left Or any foe with less than 5 you can auto kill him or her for your turn)

Rolling heavy (Can equip any weapon as secondary. Shardan get this by default)

Shield expander (can double the effect of the shield and use it to cover one more friendly who is unshielded.)

Not so feeble (This character is attacked LAST seeing he is viewed as the least threatening, However in single combat they receive a +5 to their AC. ANY character with a negative modifier in Str, or Con will automatically have this feat)
