Character: Dorian Iverson
RP sample:

The Crisp wind blew as he looked forward at the hallway. The ruined walls beside him were slightly blocked by the two others walking beside him. His mouth in a frown. "Dorian, this is our last test before we're allowed to leave the Temple. It's so exciting." One said as he smiled brightly to the blonde young man. Dorian's eyes merely glared to the ground before he replied, "It feels...Like it's too much for one thing." He muttered while he put a hand on his cape. The amulet he had received was in his firm grasp while he bit his lip lightly. "Funny, you always wanted to get out, and now you're all somber that you have the chance. Never Satisfied." The other called out. The three stepped into a grassy cliff. It was the outside, new to them.

Dorian walked forward towards the cliff while looking over the horizon. The water, the grass, the sun in it's pureness. It was all he wanted. The hand of the young man reached forward as the black glove hovered of the sun. His lips cracked a small smile. The clash of metal was soon followed. Dorian held his sheathed sword at his side up, defending the blade of the happy-go-lucky Knight as his mouth widened into a sadistic grin. Dorian looked at the man as his free hand grabbed a shield while Dorian drew his blade from the sheath, kicking the boy back. The two stood before each other. "So, we begin this early? I thought we could say our good byes." Dorian called out as the two walked together and got into stances. Dorian swung his blade into his stance while the two got into position as well. His free, right hand by his side while the two circled him.

The first rushed in with a flurry of coordinated attacks. Dorian's blade nimble danced with his opponent's as he frowned. It was do or die. His free hand went out as he parried a slash and gripped the boy's collar. His hand pulled hard while flipping the boy onto his back. After which, the sounds of movement through the grass caught his ears. He looked to see the other in the air while his sword barely got to a defensive position before he was knocked back by a shield bash. Dorian's hand went out while he panted lightly. His right arm trembled lightly from fatigue, going into combat with one arm with two of skill simultaneously. His eye looked to see the young man as he rushed forward. A mutter came from his lips.

"Holy wind, wind which flows gently across the land, let all things be filled with your pure breath....Van Rehl"

His left hand's index and middle went up as a sparkle came around and his eyes closed. The boy jumped up again, and before he landed he froze. He didn't fall he was stuck. Dorian looked up and nodded, knowing he had a small rest period. He exhaled while sheathing his blade in the ground, using it for support. His eyes opened intime to see the other young man infront of him with blade in the air. His eye widened lightly as he leaned to the side of his sword that he would swing with. His rib was grazed before the sword took the brunt of the force.Dorian rolled to the side from the impact and grunted while standing. "Is this your limit Dorian. It's not like we haven't seen that Spell before from the priest. " The Happy-go-lucky boy called before raising his blade up over Dorian. His Blue eyes looked up with a frown while saying. "I still considered you two my friends as we battled, but, if I want to leave, I have to be the last one standing." Dorian's body moved as the boy stabbed towards him. Dorian's hand grabbed his arm and thrust his sword hand into the ground as well. After, his hands pushed the him back with great force. "So you are my Enemy now." Dorian gripped his blade and then the sword in the ground, pulling them both up and rushing forward.

His arms fluently danced as he slashed and stabbed, slicing the shield the boy held on dearly to. A blade thrusted and knocked the shield back, but before a blow was struck. Dorian turned. His blade blocked the other Student's. His feet planted and his head dropped. The young man seemed to swing his arms wildly, but skillfully as he began slashing and blocking the two at once. His mouth biting tightly. After a while, Dorian jumped back and threw both blades at the two, making them leap back.

The three panted while Dorian began to mutter again, his knees on the ground. "Our Father, thou Art in heaven....." His breaths were short as the two looked at him. It looked to be a sign of Cockiness they felt, though after, his hands went into the air as he called.

"Infinite Earth, mother of all things! Dug Haut"

His fist was balled up and slammed while Stalagmites broke from the ground, pushing the two back. The two slid for a moment and then looked forward while frowning, ready to continue. But they saw an odd scene. It looked that Dorian was ascending. The young man was going up. Though he stepped forward towards them slightly. And after a few steps he looked down. The two felt the ground below them break apart. It had fallen, as did they, from the 700 meter cliff. They descended without a sign of stopping till the bottom. Dorian slowly stood as his arm held his cut on the ribs. But soon after, he picked up the blade he used, then the blade he had taken. He put them both into the loop on the left side of his Baldric. He then pulled his hood over his head and walked off towards the hall once more.

"Amen"

Character: Sentinal Noxus
RP Sample:

Sen's crystal orbs glanced around lazily as she entered the open field. There was no trees around her and the blooms' smell filled her nostrils. She knew someone else was here, but as her hair whipped across her face, she stood there simply smelling the flowers.

Her body moved quicker than the enemy expected, she was sure, as she somersaulted away from the crater that was made just where she was standing before.

She quirked her eyebrow and laughed, "You know, it is very dishonorable to attack a young girl while her back is turned."

The darkened figure did not say a word as he raised his large sword above his head and let forth a stream line lightning attack.

Smirking, Sen quickly retrieved her weathered and intricate grimoire that was hanging loosely on the chain at her side. Flicking to a page quickly, she held up her hand before her and whispered, "I bid the will of fire, come forth, Murus Ignis!"

Suddenly a giant wave of fire shot from the ground in a rectangular form, shooting towards the sky with its licking flames, and quickly stopped the lighting strike in its path. Flicking her hand to the side, the wall of flames disappeared and she said, "Bask in shadows and devour all, Umbra Gladio," as she pulled out her ornate spear and sword from her sides as she let the chained grimoire fall back to her side again. One moment they were carmine red, but now as the incantation was uttered they danced with, what looked like, darkened flames.

Rushing at the opponent, she thrust her spear toward him. She was unsurprised when the enemy parried her attack easily, he was a more physical weilder and the enhanced weapons did not effect him, and she used her momentum of the parry to swing her sword full way round toward his neck. He quickly bent backward to the point Sen thought he'd break his back, and as she stupidly let her guard drop, he catapulted upward and sliced her sword arm.

Swearing, Sen jumped upward, bringing her foot to connect with the man's face, before turning full circle and flinging her spear toward him again. The man dodged again, this time rushing backward, and as Sen watched she snorted before she thrust her spear into the ground and retrieved her tome.
"Strike his flesh from his bones, Homicidium Obscuritatis," she whispered, her finger pointing toward the enemy before a hail of crows oozed from her arm and took flight toward the man. They screeched death and as the grimoire was held open, more and more of them shot forth into the night.
His eyes widened, his sword raised to defend himself instead of to attack, and Sen chuckled to herself.

"You lose. Pity to all those who defile you: Coracinus Crypta." Sen's eyes closed slowly as her hand, palm upward and in a claw fashion, moved slowly upward. She opened her eyes swiftly as she quickly closed her palm and saw a black coffin raise from the enemies shadow before encompassing him whole. His screams filled the air but Sen no longer cared. Her eyes were back on the beautiful flowers that were in no way singed from her fire, her weapons resting by her sides as she sheathed them, and she was content.

Her blood hit the flowers delicately but she did not care to use yet another spell from her grimoire. Maybe there would be another, stronger, enemy that could face her. Even with the small spells she had learned and mastered from her mother's grimoire she had beaten the man too easily. Though, she thought, maybe if she found the other people that wanted her dead for whatever reason, she would learn the meaning of power.
Smiling toward the beautiful full moon, the young girl began to walk.

Character: Lyrique E. Podtral

'34, 35, 36, 37..'

The counter in her mind quietly rose with each hesitant step across yet another unfamiliar plane of darkness. Granted, everywhere she went was a 'plane of darkness' in its own right, but at least she could predict where a footstool in a large room would be rather than the nearest rock in a forest, in which she was irrefutably positive that they were in the middle of one. With one hand fastened to Echo's sleeve and the other at her side, she could feel the waify blades of grass bend at the weight of her steps, the snag of branches against her clothes, and the damp chill of the night on her skin.

They were sent as scouts this time around, though Lyrique was entirely sure what they were looking for at this time of night. And if she could be honest, the headmasters made a poor choice in picking her team if looking for something was the premise of this mission. After a moment of a mental pause, she dismissed the distasteful thought; new territory always made her feel anxious, so she couldn't very well blame it on her teachers for her doubts. The snowy-haired girl then suddenly hesitated upon feeling the tension in the lioness's arm, and all stood still. The ambient noises of the forest and its inhabitants, welcomed or not, quickly ambushed her senses. It was the abrupt rustling of brush around them that sent the group rushing into an instinctive triangular formation with Lyrique being the center.

The dark lioness tilted her nose to the sky before giving the uneasy night air a sniff. Echo's grey orbs then scanned the empty spaces between the rows of trees & overgrowth before muttering angrily under her breath. Quietly, she followed her frustrated utterings with a blunt command, "We need all-eyes out there, Star baby." Though affectionate in terms of pet names, Lyrique nodded firmly and allowed her listless amber optics to vanish beneath her lids. Her frail limbs became alight with the illuminated etchings of runes that pooled into the palms of her hands in which she carefully cupped them over her eyes. The slight curve of a smile tugged at the corners of her lips as the ivory child spoke gently, sweetly: "Peek-a-Boo~" Her hands then shot down at her sides as her now lustrous amber orbs flickered beneath her pale lashes, revealing her irises glinting with a similar archaic glow. The runes then stretched across her skin before spilling out onto the earth beneath her feet in an array of illuminated tendrils.

"There are 5 enemies within range, countdown beginning now.." The tendrils then shot out from beneath, lighting a path to the opponents within her 10 meter range. Echo and her two other teammates then offered Lyrique a nod before chasing after the eerie glow of parting paths stringing across the forest floor. '..2...3...4..' Again, the counter resounded in her head, reminding her of her usual daily habits, but she quietly reveled in the seven seconds of sight. It was after all, the only time she could allowed to drink in her surroundings, and even more importantly, the vanishing figures of her comrades. She kept the shapes of their forms locked away in her memory, even the varying movements of their tracking methods; it wouldn't be long now before both the trackers and her vision would fade, but it was enough to lead them in the right direction. Or so she hoped.

"I really don't know why you want to fight, it's so dangerous, we could get hurt!" Yaori frowned as he spoke to the hooded figure, showing discontent in his violet eyes. The figure's cloaked cranium slowly moved up and down in a nodding motion. Yaori's innocent heart couldn't comprehend the evil omen filling his heart. He shook his head and straightened his face. "I don't really know who you are, but maybe you should leave. When I feel this weird, heart-pounding excitement in my chest, it usually means I'm going to have to fight soon and I don't want you to get caught in the middle!" he chuckled as he hopped from leg to leg, punching at the air in a boxing mimic. The figure opened his arms from under the cloak in a threatening manner before fading away into translucence. Yaori nodded to himself with a smile now that his new friend had left. "Good, now where's that guy I'm supposed to . . . -"

Yaori lept into the air as the sudden explosive strike enveloped the area that he was once standing at. He frowned at the cloaked figure as it pulled its arm from the crater that was left behind. His hair covered his as his frown turned into a grin. "Impressive offensive display; unfortunately, I hate show-offs" He said as he moved his hair to reveal menacing, vermilion eyes filled with disdain, hatred and sadism replaced the innocent and honest irises that were visible earlier. His pupils pulsed, literally, as his demeanor intensified. His expression shifted from a cocky smirk to a sadistic smile. "Behold, your doom." The crimson eyed man lightly caressed his own face, sliding his middle finger on to his right temple. He spread his palm and tilted his head to rest in his own hand and shielded one of his eyes with his remaining fingers. "Come forth, World XXIII and show them the power of MY world." he leaned forward, holding his stomach chuckling slightly. He then lifted his face to reveal himself lost in maniacal laughter as a monstrous being slowly materialized in a frightening manner, seemingly crawling from his stomach as though his body was the portal to some ethereal realm.

The shadowy, hooded figure froze momentarily as the being completely escaped the shell of the host's body, just floating there ominously. The shadowy figure then slowly began to dissipate once more. "I've seen this trick once already, I'm not impressed." he frowned suddenly as the enemy exitted reality. He focused on everything around him intensely, looking for subtle changes in the atmosphere. 1 . . . 2. . . 3. . . 4 . . . "FIVE!" he said as snapped his fingers s the manifestation he summoned held out a single hand and a small wave of negative color erupted from him and spread over a small area then disappeared. The opponent was frozen in their position.

"This is my world." he said with a smirk. "You re frozen in stasis, but only for about 6 seconds." he smirked as he turned and walked away. "Which is long enough for me to hit you with one of these." he chuckled as the floating summon made its way to his side, picking up a nearby pebble. "Unfortunately, anything that makes contact with the stasis technique enters stasis as well, then later regains its original path of motion. In other words . . ." he chuckles as the summon throws the pebble into the small field of stasis. "To you time is frozen, but now . . ." he says as he turns to walk away. "Time has returned to normal." he laughed as the stasis field dispersed causing the pebble to pierce the shoulder of the hooded figure.

"What . . . are you?" the figure sputtered through its pain.

"I am the manifestation of Dark Magic. The God of Conjuring, I suppose you could say. You can call me Shin, I suppose it is fitting."

Character: Maude Morningdew
Maude arose from the darkness. Through the ripples of an Inky black pool of shadow , Her eyes eerily glowing from the dark she had disturbed with her presence, like rippling water she pushed through to make her presence known, standing before a foul mouthed boy who held a pen knife and a goat.
The goat was bleating hopelessly bucking trying to escape the grip of the boy, Maude stepped further out of the shadows pointing to the boy now with her vengeful eyes like glowing embers,
" do be so kind to return Larry to me..come on.. I would hate to hurt you " the boy hesitated and threatened Maude with the knife.
She was not having any of it, not when Larry was involved, though she had cursed Larry in the first place, it had been unintentional and out of anger, Maude had not been cruel enough to allow his death, her finger twitched her concentration not on what words the male were spewing forth from his trap, it mostly profanities anyhow. Her eyes focused on his knife that now moved closer, he were waving it about carelessly. The boy now charged forwards as her horns, now growing because of her increasing temper had protruded out of her head this being further proof of her concentration as the knife that went for her transmuted into a dozen violet coloured butterflies.
The boy went to retaliate, his hand engulfing in flames as the butterflies turned to cinders as he further threatened Maude “ I will get you you witch....” with a whistle Larry the Goat swiftly butted the boy on his back side sending the boy flying through the air to skitter on the ground.
Maude did not like violence but when the boy had deliberately kidnapped Larry to get her attention, Maude could not dismiss the cruelty " little boys should not play with knives..it tends to get them hurt.."
she slammed her hand on the ground touching at his shadow the shadow cracking as if it were Onyx Glass , enough to weaken him from getting up, the boy now doubled in pain she would leave for the headmistress to find and restrain if needed , Stepping into the shadows and vanishing with Larry in her arms.

Character: Lightning / Emilia Woodard

Lightning stood at the edge of the cliff, inhaling deeply as she felt the rush of fresh air enter her lungs. Closing her eyes slowly, she tilted her head back and allowed herself to feel the natural energy all around her; from the smallest blade of grass to the huge cliff face below. This was what she lived for, being able to feel free and in tune with the earth. However, the reason she had been running through the forests and to the edge of the cliff was not exactly something she lived for, it was more of an additional feature.
She outstretched her arms and flexed out her fingers, stretching until she could feel the energy within her fingertips. It was only a matter of time before they arrived and broke her peace. Unfortunately for them, they had cornered Lightning into an area that would enable her to have almost endless power. As she exhaled, adrenaline corsed through her and she suddenly knelt and began to draw runes on the floor. These runes enabled a weak shield to be present in front of her, that was only faintly visible to the naked eye.
Perfect timing.
The group of bandits raced out from behind the forested area and stood just metres from Lightning. Smirks were plastered across their faces as her feet were inches away from the end of the cliff edge, it's menacing descent teasing her. This was exactly what she wanted. Lightning began to root her feet into the ground, attaining a firm stance before drawing her hands against her chest. In this moment, she gathered all of her own remaining energy that she could muster and began to produce a swirling orb of rose coloured energy. As the bandits observed this, they began to become flustered and attempted to attack her, only to have their attacks meeting with her shield. However, it wouldn't last long.
Beads of sweat began to form on her forehead; she had barely any energy left after being chased for hours yet she did not second guess herself. After one more attack, her shield shattered and that is when she unleashed her power. With a swift movement of her arms, the large rose orb fired towards the bandits with incredibly speed and exploded on impact. Shimmering shards of rose fell to the ground and floated within the air and the bandits, or what was left of them, were scattered across the dirt and grass.
Lightning wobbled ever so slightly and inhaled deeply, her breath staggering slightly. That was probably a mistake, but else was she supposed to do? Regaining her composure, she gracefully walked past the bandits' grotesque remains and shook her head in digust. "You soiled the earth's beauty."

Character: Layla Duskhill

"I see her! Over there!"

Layla crashed through the brush panting and sobbing. Her bare feet stomped and tripped through the undergrowth; raw and bloody from her journey. There were tears streaming down her dirt covered face, and her breathing was choked by sobs of pain and anger. Blood soaked her robes and skin, though not much of it was her own.

"Quickly! Catch her!" The men chasing her were not far behind. They pursued just at the edge of sight no matter how fast she ran. They were going to catch up, and then she'd be their next victim. Her thighs were aching and her lungs burned with each labored breath. She couldn't keep going forever, pretty soon she wou-...

Her foot caught on a fallen tree that had sunken into the earth and began decaying. She gave a short cry as she tumbled over and began falling down a steep hill. Her small body bounced and rolled through the trees and brush and she came to a stop as her body slammed into a large oak tree trunk. Her scream of agony echoed through the forest as she laid there sobbing and holding her broken ribs. She could hear the men atop the hill shouting at each other to hurry down. Layla couldn't just lie there. She needed to move.

She began to drag herself through the bushes. Her teeth were clenched in pain and her eyes were full of hot tears. She couldn't let them get her, she needed to get away, very far away. As she dragged herself through the dirt her hand grasped something very unexpected; the rough stone of a grave marker. She stopped dragging herself to look at the headstone. It must have been ancient. All the words engraved into it's face were worn away and most of it was covered in lichen. She twisted her head to look around and could see other markers hidden in the tangles of nightshade vines and hazelnut bushes. This was a graveyard.

With all her might she dragged herself into a standing position leaning heavily on a gnarled and broken tree trunk. The russell and crashing of the her pursuers came from a little more then a dozen meters away, and she looked to see at least six men holding flashlights and various melee weapons watching her from the foot of the hill.

"End of the line girl. Your mommy and daddy got what they deserved, and now you need to take your punishment too." The speaker smirked at her taking a step forward with a baseball bat in hand. Layla clenched her teeth and dug her nails into the bark of the dead tree.

She shouted, "Get away! One more step and I'll kill you!" The men only laughed and the one got even closer. Her body was trembling like there was an earthquake. Her eyes stung, her body ached, and her heart felt like their was a giant gaping hole in it. She began sobbing again and held herself like a wounded animal. "I hate you.. I hate you all. So leave me alone. Or, DIE!" She let her anger and frustration out and the air seemed to ripple with her scream. The man stopped with a perplexed look on his face and stared at Layla's eyes burning with hatred. She raised a shaky hand over the hallowed earth below her and grit her teeth as she reached out to the power that filled this forgotten place.

"Duna! Fea en' i' ba!" she shouted and her voice sounded unnaturally loud and clear. The man hesitated for just a moment before once again moving toward her at a brisk stride. "You're gibberish doesn't scare me. Little bra-!" He stopped mid-sentence as his ankle got caught on something. When he looked down he could see a skeletal hand grasping his foot from beneath the soil, and he shouted in terror trying to back away, only to fall on his back amongst the other hidden graves.

The earth heaved and split as the sleeping dead rose from their slumber. disgusting corpses covered in mud and festering flesh rose from the earth as if from some cheesy monster movie. But these monsters were much more lifelike. Their half-decayed bodies incredibly real in front of all the men and Layla. The first man who had tripped scooted back as fast as he could, but Layla was not going to let him go.

"Ndengina ho!" she commanded, but the creatures didn't seem to listen. They groaned and took small half-steps in whatever direction they faced. Her words unheeded. She clenched a fist in her torn robes and growled once more, "Khila lle tura!" Her voice once more rung with unnatural power, and the dead froze in place for a second before turning to face the men that had pursued her. They were all petrified at the sight before them, unable to grasp what they were seeing. The one on the ground flipped himself over and began to stand back up but was dragged back down by a snarling skeleton with only tidbits of flesh still on its bones. He screamed as it dragged him into a bush and tore into his flesh with sharp finger bones and gnashing teeth. The others began to back up the hill tripping over themselves in their stupor. "M-monsters! Let's get the hell out of here!"

They struggled to climb the steep incline grasping at trees and roots to help them ascend, but death was on their heels. Quite literally. Layla held herself against the dead tree panting softly and letting her tears drip down from her chin as she watched them one by one get torn apart. Before her undead minions were even done she turned away and began limping out of the forest. She began to cry again. She was alone, her family was gone, and she had killed people. There was nothing left for her.

After stumbling through the dim light for hours she made it back to where her cabin had been. She walked through the broken front door and solemnly went into her old room. As she made her way to her torn up bed she was surprised to see a little bag with a drawstring hiding under the covers. She gingerly opened tugged it open to find her mothers little runestones that she had always kept with her. There was a new one in the bag, and when Layla pulled it out she saw it had a triangle with two bracket like angles on its side carved into it. She grasped it like it was the most delicate flower in the world, and her heart ached like it never had before. She placed it back in its bag and curled up on the bed. She held the stones closer to her heart as she drifted off in exhaustion...

Character: Nyxie Falice

RP Sample:

Nyxie was walking down a dirt road, carrying bags of groceries in her hands. The sun was starting to set so it was starting to become dark out. This was a bad part of town, so walking by herself in the middle of the night made her feel uneasy. She stopped for a second and closed her eyes. "Bactus Saurus un Sactos." She started to glow a bit and after a moment, an ice beast in the appearance of a Komodo Dragon appeared next to her, jumping out of an incantation circle next to her. Once it was summoned, she knelt down next to it and petted it's head. "You're going to walk me home and keep me company, okay?" Auroth looked at Nyxie and made several growl sounds as if it understood her. She then continued walking down the road with Auroth walking next to it. People gave her some weird looks which was to be expected since she was basically walking with a strange-colored Komodo Dragon. About twenty minutes later, she saw a group of people blocking the road in front of her. They appeared to be part of a gang since there were six of them, each of them having similar tattoos and markings.

One of the thugs, who appeared to be big in stature with bulging muscles stepped forward a bit. "Stop right there, girl. If you want to get past here, you'll have to pay up." He then held his hand out, expecting to see some kind of money pulled out and placed in it out of fear due to his stature and muscles. He appeared to be very strong which made a lot of people fear him.

Nyxie stopped and looked at the man as he demanded her pay some sort of toll fee to proceed further down the road. She had spent all of her money that she had on her buying groceries so she couldn't possibly pay some fee a local gang had set up. She had heard about this happening before. She then shook her head. "i'm sorry, but I don't have any money. I can't possibly pay you a fee."

Another thug approached her and stayed within arm's length of her, holding onto his chin and examines her body from top to bottom. "Hey, you got a great looking body, girl. If you don't have money to pay the fee, I'm sure we can work something out." He had a very perverted look on his face. He had something in mind.

A third man approached her as well and stood next to the second man, nodding. "I know. We'll let you pass if you let us have some...fun with you. That sound okay?" The man chuckled and stretched his hand out as if he was trying to grab onto her.

The whole situation made her uncomfortable and it made things worse when two men approached her with perverted expressions on their faces. She wasn't going to stand up for it. If they thought she was a normal girl, they were wrong. "Anum." After whispering a word in an ancient language, Auroth took the groceries from her hand by it's mouth and stepped back. Moments later, a sword materialized into her hand out of nowhere. She then pointed the sword at the thug who was reaching out to her. "Take one more step closer and you'll lose an arm." She wasn't a normal girl and people have a tendency to judge a book by it's cover.

When Nyxie brought out a sword out of thin air, the man who reached out to her took several steps back. "Whoa, where did that come from!?" Of course, he would be shocked and possibly scared by the fact that this girl had materialized a sword out of absolute nowhere. "Y-yo, this isn't a normal girl!" the man shouted, looking back at the muscled man.

The muscled man looked at Nyxie with curious eyes and pulled out a knife. "Interesting. This could be fun." He then leaped forward with incredible speed, speeding right behind her while swinging his arm around with the knife to stab Nyxie.

Nyxie saw the man's movements and as he tried to stab her, she de-materialized her sword, spinning her body around and materialized two daggers in her hands and blocked the attack. "You're gonna have to do better than that."

Nyxie's display of her power started to scare the five other thugs. Things weren't normal and seeing this girl perform acts that weren't scientifically or logically possible made things worse. "B-boss, we should get out of here! She's a freak!"

The man looked at the five others that were with him and gave them a displeased look. "You are a bunch of cowards! It's just smoke and mirrors!" Although, he knew it was more than just smoke and mirrors because she was forming weapons out of thin air. It even frightened him but he had to keep up his tough appearance.

Nyxie placed her hands on the man's shoulders and jumped over him, landing behind him as she walks up to Auroth who was standing to the side. "I guess you don't know who you're dealing with. I'd listen to your lackeys unless you want to deal with this..." She then closed her eyes once more as a magic incantation circle appeared around Auroth. "O'Lord of frozen ground, bestow upon thy target the blessings of Shiva. Awaken it's true potential and freeze the world" Auroth dropped the bag of groceries before being encased in a solid chunk of ice. After a moment, the ice shattered and from the remains of the chunk of ice was a medium-sized wyvern. It would seem that her Komodo Dragon had a complete transformation. Auroth, now in it's wyvern form hovered a foot off the ground next to Nyxie. "Well? What's it going to be?""

It didn't take long for the group of thugs to realize that they were all going to die if they didn't escape. Once the wyvern came into play, they all turned and ran away in fear. It wasn't worth their lives to try and have their way with Nyxie now that she didn't appear to be just a normal girl who would normally be too scared to act or rationalize.

Nyxie watched the thugs run away in fear and once they were gone, she decided to revert Auroth back. "Enlil Sactus" She muttered a phrase and within moments, the wyvern sat down on the ground, covering itself with its wings and after a moment, Auroth was now back in it's Komodo Dragon form. She petted Auroth's head and smiled a bit. "Good job. Now, lets get home so we can have some dinner." She picked up her bag of groceries, de-materializing the daggers in her hands and continued her way home with Auroth walking alongside her down the dirt road.

She tasted blood on her teeth, and her body felt heavy on the ground. She didn't think it would get this bad, but it did. All she had to do was go into the woods, and bring something back from the old church that was supposedly haunted. Now Christina wasn't afraid of ghosts, she could at least talk to ghosts, at least the ones that were sensible enough, and be on her way. She's always had that ability to see and speak with them. However most people could not, so when they saw her talking to thin air, they just assumed that she had lost it.

All she ever wanted was to make friends, though she was sure now that considering her situation at this moment, there were better options. She cracked open her eyes to see the giant wolf looking down at her through the hole she fell through. Obviously it was trying to figure out how to get down to finish her off. 'There's a lesson in all of this... Don't accept dares. They're deadly. Now I'm going to die without a single friend, and no one is going to care instead of my parents since they're the only ones who care about me.' she thought her eyes threatening to leak.

'Why does rain fall from your eyes?' Christina blinked, blowing her brown bangs away from her eyes as she noticed that the room suddenly turned blue. The wolf seemed to pause in it's tracks. Christina turned her head to see a shadow looming over her.

"Because I am about to die?" she answered to the shadow as she tried to get up. The air felt heavy around her, and nothing much had change. Everything was still frozen and blue.

'Do you wish to live?'

"Yes."

'Why don't you look in there?" the shadow asked as he pointed to the alter. There it held a box of some sort. Quiet ancient looking for it looked to have been made from stone, and the carvings that decorated on it in a language she did not understand. She stepped closer the box, the presence of it's power being quiet strong at the moment. "So... What do you want me to do with it?"

'Open it.' he said, so Christina crept a hand forward, touching the cool case for a moment before tracing over the lock. At her touch, a soft click could be heard. Slowly her fingers open the box, and there laid a sword. It had a blue sash and a gem at the hilt that looked to be an eye. "A sword? But I don't know-" she began to say to the, she assumed, spirit only for the shadow to not be there anymore. She looked back to the sword, feeling a strange urge to hold it. She reached forward and grasped the hilt, the sash wrapped around her arm, the eye glowing at her as her body was encased with light. Her own brown hair turning as blue as the sky and as deep as the sea. "AHHHHH!" Christina screamed falling to the ground, sword still in her hands. Her body was burning, but she couldn't let go of the seal. "I am the the magic sword, Asphyxi. Our pact is now sealed."

"Wait what? How?"

"The moment you grabbed my hilt-"

"Gross."

"... Perhaps I made a mistake-"

"No, no- I'm sorry. It's just that... Sounds weird. The way you said it."

"... Do you want to know how to use me or not?"

"Yeah sure, quick question why don't I hurt anymore?"

"It's a temporary power surge with us joining. You will feel pain again soon enough." Christina felt pumped, that she couldn't deny. When holding onto this sword, Asphyxi, she felt powerful, like something more was unleashed from her. Before she could comment she heard growling from up above, it looked as if time started again. "Christina... I am now apart of you, and your power is linked into mine. I will act as your weapon and armor, but you must open the door, otherwise I won't be as powerful. Your armor should have appeared the moment you touched me but you are holding back."

"Okay... How do I do that?" Christina asked, not believing that she had more power to go. "Close your eyes. Quickly, and let me link up deep inside of you. And summon the power..."

"Please don't talk about being deep inside of me." Christina said as the wolf finally decided to jump down, growling at her. The blue haired girl started to breath in and out, feeling a tingling sensation run down her body. SNAP, SHINCK! were the sounds that followed afterwards and Christina was now armored up, sword glowing brightly in her hands. "Concentrate... Let your power be unleashed through me, open the gate!" Asphyxi called as the wolf jumped towards Christina. The young woman raised Asphyxi and swung with all her might, a blue wave of energy blasting from the shining blade and cutting into the wolf's scull, brain, tooth, and skull flying everywhere. Christina panted, dropping down to the ground.

"Not bad for a beginner. Your channeling could use more work." Asphyxi said as he unwrapped himself from Christina and began to float on his own. Christina looked up at him, "So... Now what? What... Happened?"

"Now I come with you wherever you go, our energies recycling within one another, and you just unleashed the power inside of yourself. You may feel woozy." Asphyxi said as Christina began to walk around the dead wolf. She didn't feel the pain yet. "So... What are you?"

"I am an Ancient Armament. I hold within myself great power, but it's useless unless someone with the right aura wields me. You had the right aura."

"How do you know I was the right one?"

"You saw my shadow." was all the floating sword said before a light shined down on her. Turns out her parents sent out a search party to find her. Beats walking all the way home.

Character: Drasta Irkuli

"W-Wait a second! Wh-Where are we going?" Drasta was being hurriedly dragged into a home and quickly into the basement. "Just keep quiet and get down there!" The burly man roughly shoves the child down the stairs, Drasta gasping in pain at the bottom. His face had a large crack going across the middle of it, but no blood was coming out. Just an ominous black mist that dissipated into the air. Drasta shakily got to his feet and looked at his captor, an absolute beast of a man. He was easily seven feet tall and was built like a tank. There was no way Drasta could outfight him. He looked to a bed in the basement he was in and gasped, seeing a bloodied blanket covering what seemed to be a human body. Whoever was under there was gravely injured, making Drasta shudder with a scared look on his face.

"She was hurt when someone broke in. I tried to call a doctor, but they didn't even want to look at her because we were poor and couldn't afford medical bills. But you... You'll heal her!" Drasta's eyes widened and shook his head. "If... If that's what you wanted, why didn't you ask earlier?" The man grimaced and growled lowly. "Don't be stupid, boy! I know how you work. You deny healing due to some stupid plague or whatever. You aren't snaking your way out of this! You are going to heal her, whether you want to or not, so get to it!" Drasta lowered his gaze and removed the blanket, gasping at what he was looking at.

There was barely any girl left there. She was badly burned all over her chest and face, her cheeks burned away enough to show tendons and teeth. Her left eye was just a puddle of leaky white fluid in a half-melted eye socket, and her right held nothing. Her clothing was seared into her skin as chunks of lace and thread poked out of segments of charred black flesh. Drasta almost vomited immediately due to the harsh stench of burnt flesh in the air as the man walked over to him. "What are you waiting for? Get to it!" Drasta looks over the woman and sighs softly. "You're lying to me." The man sneers and steps back, giving the boy a death gaze. "You did this to her. There was no thief." The man indignantly balled his fists and yelled. "How do you think that? I just want my sister alive and well! This isn't a detective office, boy!" Drasta didn't waver, giving him a sullen gaze. "You don't want to take her to a doctor because then you'd have to explain it to them and you'd be sent to jail." The man growled and backed off, prompting Drasta to continue. "To heal such grave wounds... The Plague wouldn't be contained... If I heal her, the Plague will devour you. Might as well clear your conscience... And besides..." Drasta suddenly smiled, catching the man off-guard. "Don't you wanna see your sister in the afterlife one day so you can apologize?"

The man was so shocked by the boy's genuine reaction that he fell to his knees and began to weep. His anger was completely defused by Drasta's unending faith in humanity. "I... I didn't mean to... We..." The man started, choking between sobs. "She found out about... About me dealing with the mafia... She was gonna... Gonna go to the police... I... It all happened so fast. Before I knew it... I'd tossed her into the fireplace... Then..." He looks to the girl on the table, tears streaming down his cheeks. "Then... I looked for you... You can fix this, right?" Drasta looked to the girl and nodded. "It'll take some time... But it poses no problem. However..." He stopped short, giving the man a serious look. "You're... Okay with the aftermath?" The man remained silent for nearly for a whole minute, then nodded. "She doesn't deserve to die because I reacted the way I did. Please..." He bowed to the boy as respectfully as he could. "Please heal her..."

Drasta nodded and turned to the girl, placing his hands on her body and humming. A soft white glow surrounded his hands as he hummed, and her flesh began slowly but visibly re-knitting itself. Her skin grew back in place, the chunks of clothing tugged out of place by Drasta. In all, he just looked like he were massaging her. However, after quite some time, the woman looked to be nearly fully healed. Instead of spastic jerking for her breath, she was slowly breathing, as if she had fallen asleep there. Her clothing wasn't being fixed, and Drasta made sure to cover her with the blanket to nothing inappropriate was showing for whoever came to see her. After what seemed like an eternity, Drasta pulled his hands away from the girl, not even a trace of burns or wounds left on the girl. He'd been massaging her for nearly three hours. He stood up straight, which caught the man's attention. "Is... Is she healed? Out with it!" He sounded genuinely worried about her.

However, he only got harsh breathing as a response, causing him to stiffen up. "Yessss..." His voice came out raspy and almost scary sounding. Drasta slowly turned around, his face dissolving away like sand blowing away into the wind. He staggered as a thick billowy smog seeped from his drooping jaw, and his eyes drained of color, leaving only small white orbs amidst a dark black abyss. His mouth was no better, utter blackness spewing forth a sickening fog. The man stepped back and began coughing, clutching at his chest as Drasta began taking slow steps towards him. "Healed..." He drew out his words as if he were breathing each one of them. He raised his hands, a thick darkness surrounding them as the air grew thick. The man couldn't stop coughing, and eventually began coughing blood, falling to his knees. "Ah... Alicia... I... I'm sorry..." Drasta giggled a raspy giggle and groped outwards with his hands. "Love..." The man didn't move, or rather, he couldn't. At this point, every movement was like peeling off a layer of skin and everything inside him screamed for him to just give up. He eventually slumped onto the ground as Drasta stood above him. "Death..." Drasta then knelt down and laid upon him, hugging him to the boy. The man cried out in horrifying pain as his body began being eaten away by the putrid plague touch. His chest caved in, his limbs detached and rotted into the ground, all the while screaming in unimaginable pain until his very lungs and throat were being eaten away. It only took minutes for the man to cease screaming, Drasta still hugging his corpse tightly...

Several hours passed as Drasta awoke slowly by the girl he'd healed earlier. "Oh, hello! You're that healer boy! What are you doing here, Drasta?" Drasta groggily woke up, his normal aura returning to him. "Uhhhh... Where...?" The girl giggled and patted his head before walking to the stairs. "You might wanna get up soon! You shouldn't sleep in so late, or in other people's houses!" Drasta scratched his head and nodded. 'She must not remember...' He watched the girl walk up the stairs, then looked beneath him to a human-shaped stain on the cement flooring of the basement. Drasta shivered and remembered the look of the girl before, and frowned. "I'm sorry... It must have been terrible... Forgive me, please..." Drasta slowly got up and walked up the stairs after the girl, eager to put the incident out of his head and return to his chipped self.

Ashlynn "Rift" Biancaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

↘↘↘ The beep let her know that her door was opening long before she had decided to open her eyes. Her body was sore, covered in bruises and lumps all over as her entire body ached to lift itself up from her rather uncomfortable bed. It was another fight, wasn't it? Ashlynn let out a painful gasp as she managed to sit up on the bed, her eyes blinking open as she looked towards the door where a guard with baton and firearm stood looking inside at the sight of the poor youth. What was going on in his head? Looking into a test subject's room to see a 13 year old girl bruised and beaten, a purple welt under her eye as she sat up and glared his way. She hoped that it unnerved him, the fact that she could look so broken and beaten but manage such an intense hatred at the same time. She kept the glare going till the guard got ansty, shifting from foot to foot till he managed to speak up. "On your feet, you have another combat session scheduled." He muttered calmly, authority in his voice as his shock dissipitated and he realized that all he had to do was herd a 13 year old girl to her training session. She scoffed at that, looking him in the eye. He was new, not the typical guard to walk her there. "Combat session?" She repeated after him, her weak voice meek but there was venom to her words. A bite that can be felt despite her pain. "Does it look like that to you, I've taken to call it my daily beating." She finished strong, fighting to put some voice into her words but her body was a bit weak. She struggled to her feet, her soft shoes padding along as she made it to her door. Ash took one glance back at her room, seeing the cold bed and the books that sat idle on her desk. "Shouldn't keep the scientists waiting, shall we." She shot as she grew near, taking pleasure in the shock that the guard had but she couldn't muster a smile. Not at that, even though it was one of the few things she had a decision in nowadays.

↘↘↘ The hallways went by quickly, despite the secrecy of this facility it wasn't all that large and she had memorized the path to the training room by now. It was simple, and she dreaded the moment where she would have to open the door and walk inside; alone, to meet the cruelest man she had met thus far. The door stood in front of her like an ominous omen, and she took one glance back towards the guard; not saying a word, just letting him get a good look at her face before a few more bruises found their way to it. Ashlynn sighed as she opened the door, stepping inside and closing it shut behind her; making her way to the middle of the room and finally looking up at her opponent. "Hey princess." He said mockingly, making Ash bite her lip as she took a half hearted stance across from him. Was he paid to be such an assh-le or did it just come naturally? His head shone brilliantly, not a hair on it as his cold eyes found their way to her; he had no mercy for her, he was paid not to. His one and only job was to put her life in danger, to make her feel it, to make her know with no uncertainty that she could die if she didn't take the fight seriously. That was their justification, in another's eyes, it was just a man trained well in hand to hand combat beating up a thirteen year old girl. Brilliant. The scientist's speaker lit up with a cackle from the corner of the room with one word, the word she had been waiting and dreading since she stepped inside. "Begin." It rang, and before she knew it her opponent was upon her without a moment's hesitation.

↘↘↘ His fist came quicker than she could raise her hand to block it, his knuckles biting into her bone as she was pushed back, nearly falling on her arse as she shook the numbness from her hand. She managed to back step away from his next blow but as she recovered from the move he had sent a kick her way that sent her sprawling to the floor. She landed on her knees, using her hands to stop the worst of the fall but as she started to stand his fist came down hard. It rang against her chin, knocking stars into her eyes as she fell back onto the ground and felt her vision blurring. Really? That quick and she was down, her eyes were dull and she was now sitting on her side; gasping for air, it felt like her lungs were being suffocated. She was struggling for air as she was given a moment's reprise, her opponent stepping back as the speaker shot something over the radio. She couldn't hear it, she didn't really want to because she knew what it said anyway. It was instructing them to start again, to reset, her trainer who's only injury was a small bruise from hitting her bone too hard was already in position. Ash took minutes to recover, but she didn't cry, not a single tear was shed for this pain addicted freak. He'd enjoy it too much. After she caught her breath she struggled to her feet, glancing his way as she took her place; unstable on her feet, but she had little to do now. Little escape but to block and escape what she can while taking all the time she could to recover. The speaker rang out that same command, "Begin." and it happened all over again. He was quick, faster than her eyes could track or her body could react to. His fist collided with her chest and she stumbled back, eyes blurring again as she gasped, spit spluttering from her lips as she watched him take a step back and turn. Turn? Why would he- The kick hit hard, his heel hitting her cheek bone as she was sent spinning backwards to fall on the ground. Her right eye had closed shut from the blow, too injured as her brain told her that opening it was a terrible idea but her left was somewhat unmarked. He was approaching, and she could tell just how he planned to punish her for falling so quickly. The leg was being pulled back when it happened, the world slowed; her one good eye saw everything clearly for what it was, and at first, she was scared. Frightened, but not enough to keep her from realizing that there was something else to be scared of; something that she could actually deal with.

↘↘↘ His leg moved so slowly, and her hand was just right there; it would be simple to try and catch it. Sure, she wouldn't be able to stop it.. He was to strong for her strength, she knew that very well but as her hand went to catch it her eyes saw her own hand alight with Rift energy. It burned fiercely as it moved, the flames wavering slowly in her vision and as her palm felt the fabric of her opponent's legging she felt it. A strong burst of energy, her body telling her that she will not give up so easily; the energy surged and sent that leg back, tipping the man over so that he would nearly fall right on top of her. If it wasn't for her eye, she knew she couldn't have braced for his impact but as she saw everything go down in such a slow manner she was ready. Both hands moved the moment she realized what was going on, not a second was wasted as they pushed upwards to catch him but the moment they touched his chest it happened again. That same surge, and a burst of energy sprouted through her arms and sent her sparring partner sprawling through the air. It was a brilliant sight to behold, his arms flailing to the sides trying to grasp something to stop his assent, his legs kicking out to try and find solid ground but finding nothing on his way out. His eyes were the best though, and that was a sight to behold. The seconds were minutes for Ash, and she savored them well because in that small amount of time she could see his eyes clearly; there was hatred for losing, shock and surprise for what she had pulled, but there, right in the middle of his iris was something she had never seen in him before. Fear. It was then that the spark was knocked right out, his body falling to the floor, rendering him unconscious with the impact. Her flare of energy dying down, she sat up, groaning from the pain as she blacked out from her injuries.

↘↘↘ When she awoke, she was in her room, her body aching from her injuries as she glanced to the side of her bed. She was alone again, and from the small clock on her desk that she was allowed she knew that she had been out for the remainder of that day; but why hadn't they come to get her? There was food on her table, but no note. 'Do I get the day off?' Ash thought to herself, shaking her head lightly as she managed to sit up and get to her table. That thought toiled in her mind as she ate, taking her time as she cringed at every ache and pain that she had. She hated it. She hated feeling like this. It was only as she finished eating that she allowed herself to think about the previous day and what it entailed, "I won.." She spoke to herself, shcoked at her own realization. Sure, she had been knocked out too.. But she had won. Technically. The man wasn't smiling at the end, instead he was beaten and conscious, that was a personal win right there. It was so odd a thought that she couldn't even muster a smile, instead she just looked down at her desk. When she finally stopped thinking about it, one of her books caught her attention. She reached out slowly, dragging it across the table towards her as she flipped it open; she was curious about something, about how she had won, she focused on her hand to see if it would emit any spark. Any tendril of energy, but nothing came; but that was when she noticed that her eye had responded. Both were open now, but her left one had come to life; as she flipped a page she watched with interest as the page moved slowly, falling with the momentum she had given it. Her fingers, her hand, all so slow.. But her eyes, they were fast. They took in everything there was to see, and as she continued reading she felt in control for once. She felt like she knew just what she had to do to find her power, and with that, she retired early for the night. When her door finally opened again, the guard from two days prior calling her out she sat up in her bed and looked him in the eye. Her own now blazing with energy, he was afraid now, despite being twice her size and weight plus a firearm at his waist, he was scared of what he didn't understand. "Combat session, right?" She chimed, cracking the smallest of smiles. Her first of that year.

Character: Yaori Shinto

"I'm not really much of a fighter . . . ."

Yaori shook his head as he was taunted and goaded by the young man before him. "Stop saying such mean things, just because I don't want to fight doesn't make me any less of a person." The boy smirked at Yaori's sadness and slowly steppedd closer to him. Yaori continued to shake his head and back away. "Please, I don't want to fight you . . . ." his voice trailed off as his consciousness shifted slightly. He felt strange and light headed as his voice trailed off into the distance.

I HATE this little act you're pasting all over his mind L'Auremo. You're making him soft. The REAL Yao would have pummelled this punk into the ground by now, or at least let me do it!
Tsk Tsk, Shin. You're presuming this is my doing, when in actuality I m only suggesting actions for Yaori to take, isn't that right?
. . .
Oh come now Yaori~ Don't be shy, say how you really feel. Better yet, don't, let your heart speak for you. The truth will be revealed then.

Hmph, that's exactly the kind of foolishness I'm talking about. Yaori. Let me crush these punk. I'll beat him within an inch of his life, then you can decide what to do next.
. . .

Reality slowly began to roll back into place. Yaori felt pained, not emotionally, but physically? It was kind of strange, it was like he was staring at the ceiling. . . . He was on the ground wasn't he? He shook his head and clenched his teeth as he pushed himself off the ground. His face hurt really bad, he must have gotten him pretty good. To think he was holding back so this guy wouldn't actually have to fight him! That was so rude and after he was so nice!! It was kind of funny in an ironic sort of way.

His violet eyes glared at his opponent and a smirk stretched across his face. It was pretty funny, he couldn't really help, but laugh. He reeled forward slightly causing his hair to drop over his face "Heh. Heheheheh. HEHEHE! HAHAHAAA~ AAAAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA!" He reeled back, forcing his hair to flip back out of place. Strangely it became unruly and wild. His violet glare became morphed into a crimson gaze. From the innocent and clear purple eyes, to deadly, hateful vermilion ones. His laugh became far more serious as e continued to roar in maniacal cackling. He sighed and wiped a single tear from his cheeks. He sighed once more as his laughter calmed completely.

"I hate people like you." he said calmly with a wide smile. He craned his head off to the side and shook it in a patronizing manner. "Yaori obviously hates you too, otherwise his HEART wouldn't have forced me to come forth." His smile disappeared almost instantly. "And now I must beat you like the dog you are. You'll learn your place. And, as a good master, it is my job to teach you." he smirked as the boy charged at him. Shin held up a single finger and waved it back and forth. "Tsk tsk, acting on your own without command." Yaori clenched his fist and brought it back as a strange aura enveloped it. "You must be punished." A sadistic glint flickered in Yaori's eye as he brought his fist into the stomach of the boy causing him to double over Yaori's shoulder. "Heel, boy." he smirked as he removed his knuckles from his abdominals.

The boy held his stomach and backed, extremely slowly, away from Yaori. "Ah ah ah~!" he eyed the boy with a demented look. "Kneel." In a virtual instant, a being materialized in a crouching position. It chopped the boy in the back of the leg causing him to fall on one knee. He smiled as he looked down at the top of the boy's head. "Good boy."

Don't you think you're taking it too far?

"Never, L'Auremo." he smiled. "Noooooow. Beg." he said as his arm glowed the mystical aura once again. He extended it quickly into his throat, grasping it quickly. The boy gasped and chooked as Shin stared into his eyes, slowly becoming more pleased the longer he held him. "Go on. Be a good boy. Beg for your master. Beg." he chuckled as he slowly waved him back and forth. The boy tried his hardest to utter words, but Shin's grasp of his throat was preventing him from speaking. He shook his head. "That's not good enough. BEG! HAHAHHAHAHAA"
Shin stop it!
"HAHAHAHAHAA NOT YET!"
STOP IT NOW, YOU'LL KILL HIM!
"THEN LET HIM DIE!"
STOP IT NOW

"ENOUGH!" Yaori shouted as the he released the boy's throat. He fell onto the ground gasping for air. Yaori stepped back and gripped his wrist. He stared at his palms, they shook in disbelief. "I-I-I!" he shook his head and sprinted off into the distance, a single tear shot from his violet eyes as he looked back at the pained youth.

"Fine, if I have no other choice!" Yaori said as th air around him shifted. The large man standing before him had his arms crossed, it seemed like he was finally caught this time. He would have to fight or he'd be in some serious trouble. It felt like the air became slightly harder to breathe for a second as Yaori took a small breath. He held one arm all the way out to the side then swipes it across his chest in a slashing manner.

The man's arms slowly became uncrossed as he entered a defensive stance. He stared at Yaori with a confused expression because of his awkward gesture. As he looked closer he could see a strange hand seemingly materializing on the side of Yaori that his arm moved from. It seemed as though the motion of Yaori's arm initialized the direction of the arm. The arm continued to materialize, like it was reaching out of a pool of water. A small amount of violet energy protruded from the arm as a torso slowly started becoming visible as well.

The man decided he wasn't going to wait for the being to finish appearing and charged at Yaori. He closed the distance between them rather quickly and reached out at Yaori. Yaori sighed as the being emerged from the invisible pools from whence it came almost instantly. It grabbed the man's wrist and it's other fist shot across his face. It sends the man flying in reverse and he crashes into the ground. Yaori sighs and picks his ear with his pinky. "Dang it man, why'd you have to do that. Now my awesome dramatic tension is all wasted!" he frowned.

The man got up and wiped his face. He seemed surprised by the attack and the strength of the being. "Shocking right? Right now, World XIII, that's this guy, has about the strength of 2.5x the average human." Yaori said with a chuckle. "He's really impressive. Also, if your wondering, no I don't have to summon him that slowly, but it does take a little time to do." he sighed as World XIII floated beside him, standing straight and tall. He levitated only few inches off the ground, but his massive size and stature made it far more intimidating.

World XIII floated towards the man as he rose back into fighting stance. Yaori watches as World XIII floats in front of the defending man. "Stop fighting. It's not making you look cooler, bro. Just relax and you won't have to fight anymore." he said as World XIII unleashed a rapid flury o punches. The first one connected, then a second and within an instant the 8th had already hit. As World XIII swung, Yaori would explain. "Ya know, his punches are alot weaker now, about the strength of an average person. I control the balance of his power, the more I tip the scale, the more strength or speed he gains, depending on which way I tip it. Right now, he's all speed and no strength." he finished as World XIII smashed his fist into the man sending him back onto the floor. "I'll give you a bit of friendly advice. I can't move. While World XIII is present, I can't move a muscle, all of my mental capacity is focused on controlling his movements and I can't control my own."

The man smirked slightly as he stood up. World XIII reeled back for another heavy strike, but the man used his speed to blow by him and head straight for Yaori. Yaori smirked. The man closed the gap rather quickly once again as World XIII dissipated into thin particles that dispersed. "Nice." Yaori praise as his violet eyes eyed the man closing in. Yaori's hands began to glow gold as the man finally closed the gap. He swung one fist straight toward his face and Yaori's face. "NOT MY BREAD AND BUTTER!" he shouted as one of the golden hands quickly grabbed the other man's fist. At first its seemed like it wasn't going to stop it. The fist virtually pushed the hand back until it was inches from Yaori's face, then it stopped instantly.

The man's eyes widened as Yaori clenched his fist, crushing it slowly. "Cool right? I can pretty much do what I want! This is called manifesting. I can basically take on the body of my summon and it will amplify my body as though it were his. Unfortunately at only 50% efficiency which is kind of disappointing. " Yaori begins to trail off in a long winded explanation about why his powers suck and ends up telling the story of his life. All the while, the man struggled to free himself from Yaori's grip.

"And that's how you say, 'Don't kill me, I'm Jewish!' in Chinese, but that's another story. Am I done yet, this simulation is starting to kinda suck since I'm hungry. N-not that you guys didn't do a great job!" Yaori said, trying his hardest not to sound like a jerk. The area dimmed down and changed. Its like his surroundings all rolled together into a bubble and disappeared, leaving a white room with basic boring tiles. There was a door on the far end.

"Excellent performance son! Your mother nd I are proud of you!"

Yaori scoffed. He walked towards the door and reached out for the door knob. As he reached out he stopped and ran his fingers over the front of his face. He looked back where the door camera was revealing crimson eyes. "Not enough to actually come see him though? You call yourselves parents? Tch, whatever." He said as he yanked the door open and walked off into the dark corridors once again.

"That Shin . . . he's a wild one."

Yaori reached up onto his face again as he walked off, wiping a few tears from his eyes. He also wiped away the red contacts that covered his violet eyes. "Yeah . . . Shin." he mumbled.

A light breeze rolled over the hills on the calm day. It gently brushed Bell's hair as she laid on the hill. Her rifle rested in her hands as she had a perfect view of the valley ahead. She was drenched in brushes, leaves, and other assortments of vegetation. It was camouflage perfect for the situation at hand. All she had to do was simply wait and sooner or later her target would arrive. They would be traveling on the road that was running through the valley below. Patience was something she was taught early on and it had been hours sense she arrived. During this time she had been perched here just waiting like a bush. To everything else in the vicinity, that was all she was.

A light buzz came through Bell's ear. "The convoy has been spotted. About twenty minutes out coming from the north. Couldn't get visual on target.". A soft voice told her through the ear phone. Without even moving the girl's eyes lit up. Activating her clairvoyance, she started scout the area. Using her vision she moved up the road quickly. Soon enough the convoy came into sight. Three vehicles in total. Two trucks and one armored vehicle leading the pack. She scooped out the vehicles quickly peering inside each one. One was full of supplies, looking to be like potato sacks. Though upon looking in them she could see they clearly weren't anything friendly. How they got explosives that many explosives was beyond her. She scoped out the next one, and this was full of weapons. Of course these were cleverly disguised, but only if you were a common folk. Lastly she snooped into the armored vehicle. Inside she found her target. The one behind it all, the one who had to be put down.

Bell's eyes returned to normal. "He is in the armored one of course." She replied in a near silent tone. There was no way she could pierce the armor and nail him. Though the target had to be taken out this time around. They wouldn't get another chance for this. They were still a at least fifteen minutes out and she had to come up with something. Her eyes lit up again and she went back to viewing the convoy. There had to be something she could do to at least buy some time or get him out into the open. The whole thing was locked up tight however. However then the girl noticed the little slits they used for viewing for the armored vehicle. They had incredibly durable glass between them. Though her .50 Cal shot could get pierce it. Seeing it was going to be her only option she would have to go with shooting through it. If any one could pull it off it would be her.

Exiting her Clairvoyant state she gripped her rifle and waited. Patiently she waited, tell the sound of the vehicles could be heard. As soon as the first truck came into sight, she aimed down her scope. The next truck appeared in her cross heirs and lastly did the armored vehicle. She followed the vehicle with her rifle as it was able to casually drive down the road. They weren't speeding or anything, just barely going 45 even though this is basically a free road. Before the convoy was able to pass she pressed her communicator. "Target sighted, taking the shot." Bell spoke as she kept her aim on them. The vehicles passed on like nothing was going to happen.

BAM! and the shot went off. As soon as it did the girl's eyes lit up. Using her Clairvoyance she locked onto the bullet she fired. The bullets trajectory at this point in time was going to embed instead straight into the armor plating. Though as it traveled she used her telekinesis to start guiding the bullet manually. Her bullet started to act just like a missile and flew in the direction she willed it. The shot curved through the little slit of glass without even so much of touching the metal. It curved again this time planting itself into the skull of an unsuspecting terrorist. His body jerked from the force and he slumped over in his seat motionless. As it did Bell's eyes returned to normal. "Target confirmed dead." She spoke over the communicator. "Good work Bell. You will extracted at dusk. Be sure to hang tight for a couple hours." With the message received, the girl pulled her rifle into the camouflage with her. Now all she need to do was wait. Patience was all that she needed, and she had plenty to go around tell the mission was over.

Character: Grace Dahlberg

The day had come. The time of the Corination to become a true heir to the throne had arrived. And yet...Grace was scared. She sat in front of her vanity, brushing her hair as she stared into the mirror. Beata was the true heir to the throne, not her...and yet here she was about to ascend. She couldn't really believe it. She felt sad that her dearest sister would receive the short end of the stick. It wasn't fair to her. As she kept brushing, the door behind her opened.
"Yes?" Grace asked, looking into the mirror to see who it was. It was Beata, coming to check on her.
"Grace...it's almost time. Are you not ready?" she asked. Grace shot up and ran to Beata, hugging her sister.
"Beata, oh Beata!" Grace said, crying into her sisters chest suddenly, gripping onto her shirt. "I cannot do this. I cannot do this while you are left in the dust. Oh my sister, it is not fair." she said, nuzzling into her sisters chest. Beata smile and held her.
"Grace...you must. You are the princess..." she said with a smile.
"No!" Grace looked up and shook her head. "You are! You are the rightful princess! And you know it!" she exclaimed. Beata sighed and kept her smile at her sister.
"Yes...but I had no desire to take the throne. I never wanted to. I am a fighting Grace...really, can you imagine me on the throne all day without going crazy?" she chuckled and slowly led Grace back to her chair. She sat her sister down, drying her tears and brushing her hair gently. "I would prefer a sweet thing like you on the throne, dear sister. You will do our land well..." she started to put the feathers in Grace's hair, being very careful to not hurt her. Grace started to calm down, wiping her eyes.
"But I'm-"
"But nothing...the master isn't here...your real Father left after we took you in...you are on level playing field now." she smiled at the small girl. "Believe me."
Grace nodded, smiling. "Okay...I love you Beata..." she said, watching her sister put the feathers in.
"And I love you, Dear Grace..." she said finishing up.

It was then that Beata lead Grace into the throne room. Grace let out a sigh and as the doors opened, she started the walk. Beata was by her side, walking with her sister to the throne. Many things ran through Grace's mind as she made that walk. How would this affect her? What would happen to Beata? What was the future going to be like? She stood in front of the throne and bowed down in front of it, as the priest started to talk. He said a prayer to the throne and to the ascension going well. But on the sidelines, something came.
"It's time..." someone whispered to another.
"I will go...I will not fail..." a womans voice said.
"Go my child...and end the true ones life."
"Yes Father."
Beata was watching her sister become the heir, and was unaware of the woman, a handmaiden behind her. She stepped up to Beata, a hidden knife held in her robes. The knife made its way toward Beata. It was in that instant that times seemed to slow down. Grace glanced and saw the knifes gleam. Her eyes widened.
"NO!~" she screamed, holding her hand out. Beata turned to see the knife and the crowd gasped. It that moment, a shimmering blue light came over Beata, making the knifes impact null. It bashed the shield, and the assassin stepped back.
"What is...is this trickery!? AHH!" at that time, she was seized by the guards, and detained immediately. Everyone looked at Grace, even her sister, and there were cheers.
"Long live Princess Gracia! Long live the Dalhberg name!" they cheered. Grace looked at her hands in horror. She did that? She...saved her sister? She rose to her feet and Beata hugged her tightly.
"Thank you...thank you so much my dearest sister..." she mumbled, holding her little sister. Grace felt tears well up in her eyes, and hugged her sister back. She had done something wonderful.

Later that night, Grace approached Beata, seeing her sister alone.
"Sister...I think...I am going to figure out more with these abilities..." she said, sitting down. Beata nodded.
"I know you will my dear sister... you will." Beata said, smiling. "You will. Now come, let us continue to be merry. This is your day my sister." She took Grace's hand, and the two went off to enjoy the rest of the night. This was only the start to Grace's change.
