Abilities on: Rook Blind (f): Janus is blind as a bat, but luckily has their hearing on a demonic scale. Creature of the Night+: Plus illusory magic and hypnosis.

Down in the lobby below the demons there made room for Janus and her stomping gait. She headed toward the door as quickly as she could, not moving her head and not answering when she was called out to by the desk person. Needless to say she'd had quite enough of whatever it was Lilith was putting her through, and Melanie's lack of poise certainly didn't help anything. She was almost out the door when she heard something she couldn't ignore.
Misty Taw Sacred Gear:Vritras's Scale: Rise of the Juggernaught
While different from the Juggernaught drive. It earned it's name because of it's atrocious resistance and endurance in battle. This scale was blessed with Vritra's Physical Strength and Endurance which enhances the wielders endurance in battle. How far would they go it's up to their will. Deep within lies a destructive force that would consume it's wielder if they aren't careful, which is why the wielder needs to be in constant activity to keep the Scale dormant.
As part of the sprinting club, among the many activities she had gotten involved with, Misty's own physical condition, without her gear;s help was enough to catch up with Janus, at the very least assuming she ran out of the room normaly and instead of using her wings or some sort of teleportation device.
Jumping from stairs and evading the staff who carried many lugage, she was able to spot Janus, thanks to the constant mention of her name by the desk person. "Janus, dear."
Called the british accented brunette who continued her sprint until reaching up for Janus, where she would pause, and gasp for air, after all she was just recovered from her little intimate encounter with Melanie.
"Are you alright love? could we have a minute?"
While the first question was rather stupid, she did had a point in asking given she was lights out before Janus broke into rampage and she was not there when Janus was ranting with Melanie. Yet the second question carried a little more of authority on it. Still it wasn't as demanding her to obey but demanding her attention. She even went as far as to take her right hand with hers. "Please..."

She could hear in Misty's face the desperation, the pleading. Clearly she was wanted/needed, or so it seemed. Janus, however, was having none of it. Her mouth hung open for only a moment, curling and chuffing at the edges of inaudible words until she pulled her hand away, looking at Misty as though she was a lover grown cold.
"Please what, hm?" she snapped. "I can't do this anymore. People like Melanie..."

Misty felt Janus's regection right away, yet she couldn't afford to lose her not now. While her eyes didn't see the expression of sadness on Misty's face the goddess would surely feel the brunette's hands holding onto her cheeks and her forehead leaning against hers.
"I know, sweetie, I know. It's not your fault at all but mine... please...I know it's selfish from me to keep it hidden from you but I was new into this and was slow... it's all my fault... please... Janus. Let me make it up for you... It would be only us, no Lilith, no Lamia, no Melanie.. it would be just you an me... please, don't leave me."
Misty wished to explain and give Janus's some justice for she knew her piece had been through a rough day, and she couldn't call herself a king if she would leave just any piece to linger alone and be unhappy, even if they weren't hers. She owed it to them. And so, she didn't feel right to leave Janus alone with her anger.
Despite that, the scene the were either concious or not was causing some eyes to look at them in awe.

Janus reached out half-way for Misty's hand, perhaps wanting to take back what she'd done a moment ago. It could have been reflex as well, but reason pulled her back, and she gave the new king a wry smile.
"Wow... You might make a great succubus after all," she said with a beleaguered chuckle. She pulled a hand through her hair and exhaled. "But that's ridiculous and you know it. The more I get involved with you or that nightmare upstairs the more I'm going to have to deal with the same old story."
"... Four thousand years," she whispered to herself, then turned back to Misty. "No... I can't do it. I won't, and you can't make me." She had already taken a step backward, something like fear springing up from the space her foot had held. "You got what it takes, kid," she said, now turning to leave.

"Janus san... that future you speak of... a great future. If you leave I can assure you that said future will leave my side along with you..." Misty replied, her voice sad as she said so. "I'm not joking...you're..." The british accented girl grunted, hesitation? "I-i need you....More than you can imagine..." A cliched line indeed, perhaps it was the easiest way to have Janus reject her since the goddess should probably had seen this card been played numerous times, more than Misty could possibly count. Yet, Misty's words were sincere none the less, as once out of her lips there was no more hesitation in her. "I know I can't force you to stay...I don't want to be a great succubus... I want to be a great king... or even more, the best person I could ever be. And I'm not lying when I'm saying that I need you... without you...I'm nothing more than mom's little doll to play with when Lamia's not around. I've noticed she's her favorite, don't take me for a blind." Her heart would beat with a furious rhythim at the sole mention of lamia, a rivalry perhaps? but it grew more anger every time she accepted she couldn't control Janus or make her stay. Yet, she didn't even try to hold her back. Yet, why would she step closer to the goddess if she wasn't gonna try -
Without hesitation, the brunette would plant herself before Janus, holding her cheeks before her lips would print their warmth, her sorrow for Janus's departure yet her... support for Janus's decition?
"4000 years... that bares more wisdom than I could ever grasp..."
She replied as the kiss died. Stepping back to put her back on Janus so she didn't had to see her leave. "I can't say my selfish desires know better. If you must go, then you must...All I know is me, my own little and selfish world. But I do know that I need someone I can trust... Mom's biased by her own perspective of the world, heck maybe I'm the one biased by my infatuation and admiration towards her... I could never see Lamia as nothing more than my rival....Melanie... heh... she's on the same boat as me... none of us could be trusted...I just thought... that maybe you... No."
She stopped, chuckling even, but the scent of her tears could reach the goddess's senses.
"I choose to trust you... so. If you say you must go... you must. I'll trust you'll be back one day. Be safe love... I'll keep home clean while you're out there working."
She chuckled, yet her legs where shivering. How was she suppposed to run a piece without someone to rely on? But she trusted Janus knew better... perhaps they both needed some time alone. Janus to cool off her head and make a choice about the her own destiny. And Misty... well... she can't rely on everyone all the time, if she wished to be a king then she had to be more independent. Yet, the sole idea of Janus leaving grew a pain within her chest.
Misty remained silent, she would not keep Janus from Leaving, she had her own demons to face... and so did the brunette.
