Lilith listened as Skylar spoke, after all it was fascinating. It was something she thought was a possibility after learning about Jack but didn't have access to current research information. Her collar made sure of that last point. As for the super weapon it mildly intrigued her but seemed rather impractical. When Kiya leveled her accusatory question at Lilith she responded how she was trained to respond. "I was only told what I needed to be to told and the details of detainee were not part of that.", then she added "Though I suspected such experiments may have been going on within the alliance." much to the chagrin of the VI. When Kiya left Lilith wanted to go force her back to her chair but she needed to remain and wait for a reply from Sidero. So she simply thought to herself Damn civis are so dramatic. She then turned to Skylar, "Is there anything else you'd like to share about Sidero that might help us resolve this situation with minimal casualties?

Kiya marched with all the purpose of a stampeding bull down the corridor to the ship's lounge. It was one of the many things that Kiya loved about the ship. Plush couches, entertainment, and above all else, a fully stoked bar. They weren't, strictly speaking, supposed to drink while on duty. But by the goddess, Kiya was not going to be able to pilot with a half rational mind while sober. Not now. One of the good things about being an ex-soldier. You didn't need to always strictly act like one. And right now, she wanted to be a tipsy civi.
She grabbed the first bottle of anything she got her hands on. Pulled the stopper, and took a swig. Something sweet and rich hit her tongue. Like honey and nutmeg with just a hint of hops. She half drained the bottle before looking at it. Not that she needed to. It was a drink she grew up on. Asari honey mead. "Huh…who would have thought…" Of all drinks to grab first. She glanced up at the screen showing the outside of the ship. The station, just sitting there like the raincloud on her parade. She raised the bottle to it, "Cheers." And drained it.
Deciding she didn't want to get drunk on mead, it was too sweet and weak for a proper buzz and would just make her sick, Kiya walked around the bar and got a little more selective. She spotted a bottle of Ryncol. Why not. She could simultaneously be a happy pilot, and ply the prisoner for information at the same time. Lumi would probably kiss her if it worked. Or, throw her in the brig. Either really seemed probable.
Skipping on the formality of a glass, Kiya grabbed the bottle, took a swig, and enjoyed for a breif second the sensation of fire on her tongue and bees in her mind. Delightfully drowning out the world in their buzzing.
Bottle of Ryncol still in hand, Kiya marched back up to the bridge. The door slid open, and she marched past Lillith, Skylar, and anyone else present. Kiya dropped down in her seat, took another swig of Ryncol, and past the bottle to Skylar. "What did I miss?"

Skylar was surprised to see the asari desert her post, but then again, she didn't strike Skylar as the soldiering type. Not like the goody two shoes behind her who had the Ice Queen for a hero. "Well one thing I know about Sidero is that he's always serious... if he says he'll kill all those people, he means it. On the other hand, it's only sixty people, while the weapon he's got could kill countless billions." Skylar hummed a little as she stared out at the space station that Sidero was on, she would have liked nothing more than to blow the damn thing out of the sky to get rid of Sidero, everyone else be damned. But that wasn't how one bought a ticket to freedom. She would play along with the good guys for a bit, let them all squirm before she crushed them under her boot.
When the Asari returned with some Ryncol, Skylar smiled, maybe she wouldn't kill her, she did seem like a nice enough sort, and offering Skylar a drink was certainly a plus. "Thanks a lot hot stuff." She complimented the asari before taking a swig of the drink and gave a swift exhale as she felt it burn in her chest. "Now that's what I'm talking about. Why can't the Ice Queen be as hospitable as you?" With a small smile, Skylar passed the pilot the bottle, propping her feet up again as she looked out the window again. "Either we attack them and risk the ship and the lives of everyone on the station, or we wait and let Sidero get away with a superweapon, such hard choices."
=================================
As the Argent Thames held its position at the edge of the station's range, Sidero and his men were loading everything they could onto his ship, and the scientists helped them mount the experimental superweapon on his ship, so if need be, he could use it. The rest of what they took was mostly supplies, fuel for their ship, ammunition and guns, whatever they could take that wasn't bolted to the floor. Soon enough, preparations were finished, and the group were ready to evacuate the station at a moment's notice. Sidero still had plans for it though, not content to just leave and let the Argent Thames run them down. With a deep inhalation he spoke to his crew. "Arm the self destruct explosives. Give the Spectres a choice. Chase us, or save these people." With that he turned and headed back to his ship, leaving the crowd of cowering people to their fate as the crew tied them all up and started to arm the self destruct explosives. Once everything was set, all Sidero would need to do, is set the timer from his ship and watch the light show. When they prepared to leave, Sidero sent one final communication to the Argent Thames through the station's comm relay. "Attention Argent Thames. I know full well that your ship can run mine down, so with that in mind... You have thirty minutes to save this station from self destructing. When thirty minutes pass, the station will explode, losing its orbit and crashing into the gas giant Bast, igniting the atmosphere when it enters and knocking it out of orbit. It will then careen towards the star that gives this sector light... the planet Anhur will be in its path. With a population of over 200 million, can you really allow this to happen? I will leave it up to you to decide." With a heavy exhale, Sidero closed the comm channel and nodded to his flight crew who started the ship up as Sidero started the timer for the explosives.
