Tear goes through various phases, through jolly and despair. A rainbow of emotions only shown after the maelstrom of events that surrounds her past.
Stern and cold to strangers, she had been raised to make things as effective and quick as possible. Leaving little to no room for interactions should the mission does not require it.
Infiltration missions however, take such care in every single detail that Tear is able to become someone completely different to who she is at all.
It's rare the occasion and she often hates it when it happens, but one must do what one has to do.
Making it short, she possesses a chameleonic array of possible interactions. Hiding her daily frustration upon failures and mistakes made in the past.
This however does not take the best of her. To those rare individuals that manage to carve through her harsh exterior. Tear is just another girl, having to live the way of the assassin may had a token on her. But deep within, even beyond the madness that expels from the core of her soul. Tear, deep within, is still human.
Compromised, meticulous, passionate. She leaves little room for regret.
History:
Bound for glory or oblivion, Tear was raised within the halls of DWMA. In which she was quickly found to be a candidate for a particular subject.
Among the many talented children whose conditions showed promise in the battlefield, Tear was enlisted in the Death Killer's squad. Along with a rising legend at that time. Lily Treina.
As the Queen of darkness out shadowed her skills, Tear wouldn't let Lily to hold her down. None the less, the training was harsh and extenuating.
Things however got out of hand when they began with assassination techniques. In which they were tested to kill targets. Logically, for any weak of mind or heart, this was a dead end. And so Tear met hers.
Refusing to take a life, even more when the target could not defend herself. She went through punishment after punishment. Obviously trying to push her into giving that final step. However, Tear's strong resolution kept her somehow together, appearing to be fiercely adamant about her choice.
One by one, some of her classmates fell against her iron fist proving she was a force to be reckoned with, at the very least in the lowest of the assassin's tiers.
Once she was out of contestants she was promoted, but even after a defeat, their opponents were just unable to finish her off. Something in their minds was changing. This was troublesome, as she could become a martyr for other people. And as such, she was placed on Lily's unit, in hoping that the Queen of Darkness would not fail in where the school council had.
The Queen however, had other plans.
Cold, direct and with strong resolution, set Tear as an example to any who dared to oppose her.
The Queen's training however, was far worse than any hell she had been put up. Despite Tear being a proficient fighter, there was no way a rookie would stand a chance against a veteran's load of punishment. She was quickly slammed against the floor, hitting bottom on many occasions. Soon to never stand up.
Tear didn't gave up. She kept having that fire in her eyes which made her look forward to the next session. One could tell it was a miracle, others an inspiring figure, but to the Squad's captain, it was a waste of time.
Taking her head on, to try her non-kill philosophy. The Queen of darkness Challenged Tear to a duel. Outwitted and outmatched. Tear would soon understand why Lily was called the Queen of Darkness.
For no matter how bright the light of hope shinned in your heart, the void within those cold eyes would make sure to swallow the last particle, and sink you down in the depths of darkness.
Hour after hour, the Queen kept picking Tear up from the ground just to beat some sense to her first hand. A fist full of reality strucked her body with every second that passed until Tear's legs would not be able to stand her body, only to be tugged up and beaten again.
This set an example for any possible follower. If the resistance wished a martyr, Lily would happily deliver it for them. In such presentation, that their stomaches would spill their contents in horror.
For Lily was no ordinary fighter.
Despite the beating Tear was taking, people could still see her, complete. Lily knew where to hit, how to connect her damage without compromising Tear's integrity. To keep her alive. Healthy, enough to get round after round of punishment.
That day, the Queen of darkness shut down all the lights in DMWA. No one would ever question her again, and would become Death's right hand.
For 7 hours straight only comparable with the inner circles of hell, Lily kept beating Tear until there was nothing more than terror in the brunette's eyes.
Showing the fitting place for a coward who had not the courage to take a live, to survive. Yet Lily still let her live out to this moment.
With a devious smirk and blade blazing red. She carved onto her flesh a Kanji which stood for "Courage". Hoping Tear would grow some in the process before letting her go.
Terrified, not knowing what sleep, care or affection was anymore, the frightened student left that very day, up to this day no one knew how was she still standing. But everyone could tell that if they were found in the same place as her, they would be crawling or running away form this place as well.
With the once protector of life lowered now to a scaredy animal, she instinctively ran home, after a long absence ever since she was enlisted to DMWA.
Her family was terrified of what had become of their daughter, and sister. But they couldn't even get her under the roof. And saw with broken hearts how Tear slowly became more primal. Killing her food, barely cooking it, always afraid. Always watching.
It was this madness that called her every night, in which saw the Queen being every time nearer. Willing to punish her personal sandbag. The scar on her back burning as if it was recently carved. It was then when the light in her eyes faded, and was covered with the veil of madness.
Afraid, trapped, unable to trust anyone. Tear broke out in a rampage, trying to free herself from the shadow of the Kitsune which haunted her every time she closed her eyes.
Until she took that will, and forced it's way down the Queen's throat. It was as if all the pain faded away with the Queen's life, it felt good, really good.
Soon, she was chasing shadows in her home, pursuing Lily everywhere. Leaving not a single one living. Her family paying the price for her delusion.
Stained in the blood of her beloved ones, Tear knew nothing about her former self. And eating the "Queens's" souls, she became something different. Something greater.
Ascending her soul she would gain a new perspective of life. Everything seemed so small, so fragile.
Her phobia for Lily wasn't yet healed, as the nightmares kept going on.
And she kept fighting, and running, until one day, she abandoned her world.
After arriving this new world. Tear explored this dimension, finding odd that this world was still in one piece, unlike the decaying world she came from. Unknown to her she had not only traveled to an alternate dimension but also trough time.
It was until she was found by Rondo. That the loony brunette finally met someone who could put a stop to her. Fighting madness with a darkness even greater than hers.
Sure, she was now a vicious being guided by madness, but even so, she was just a kid.
And if the madness consumed her beyond believe, Rondo was even worse.
Strong enough to take her from the sea of her own despair, Tear came into realization of her current fate.
Raised and taught by Rondo, she finally accepted the path of the killer. Becoming a mercenary for Rondo and his crew.
Sailing above the skies, Tear found freedom and a new life.
As years passed, she was called by a mysterious voice one night. Leading to her fated meeting with the Queen of darkness, in this world. And to claim the blade of Evangeline, along with her birthright.
