Blare nodded before they started going off the ship. She would stay close to Ami, knowing she would need help to get around. Blare was very protective of Ami since she was blind. Blare, though she was still young, sometimes felt like her body was smaller and more frail, ever since she ate that darn fruit. She was half fox which would explain some of the things she did. As well as being half wolf, which would explain her howling sometimes when she wanted to. Blare, being all wolf at one point, sometimes missed the fact that she was a wild animal, but she cared more about Ami than being a wolf. She was more than a pet, she was Ami's friend and Ami was Blare's best friend.

Ami then stepped back, and ran over to the railing, the one facing the docks this time, and leaped off the side. Her cat-like acrobatics gave her an extra jumping capability, and she landed on the docks, though she stumbled into a stack of barrels. "Woah!" she said.

Blare went over to Ami as soon as Ami went down. "You alright Ami?" She asked so only Ami could hear. She knew that not all people were used to seeing a talking wolf who also looked like a fox. Blare helped Ami up by pulling on Ami's sleeve not wanting her to fall into the ocean.

Michael was about to leave when he saw Ami jump off the side of the ship and into a bunch of barrels. "You ok Ami?" He asked a he rushed over to her to help her up.

Aaron, who was sitting on the barrels that Ami crashed into, was shoved off into the mess of barrels. He sat up quickly and said, "Hey! Watch it! That really-" he said, stopping his sentence as he noticed her eyes. "Err...sorry... Just.. Be careful... Hey, wait! A blind person shouldn't be jumping off of ships willy nilly!"

Blare growled at Aaron, not liking the tone of voice he used on Ami. She bared her fangs at him, trying to protect Ami from Aaron in case he tried anything. Blare had always had trouble trusting others when she was on duty. Though she was the size of a wolf, she was actually a big softly for Ami's sake. Ami was the only one Blare would listen to for anything.

Ami stood up and put her hands on her hips. "Blare, stand down. I'll take care of this." she said, patting her head gently. Then she looked in Aaron's direction and said, "I'm perfectly capable of taking myself, and Blare and Cass helps me with the rest." Then she leaned close to him and sniffed at him. "You smell like a kitchen... Are you...a cook?"

Blare stopped growling as soon as Ami told her to stand down. She sat beside of Ami protectively, not wanting Ami to get hurt or worse. Blare did owe Ami her life but that wouldn't make her think twice about killing if she had to.

Aaron looked at the blind girl with surprise, thankful she couldn't see his expression. "Uh.. Yeah, I'm a cook, and I was in a kitchen today... How could you tell?"

Ami smiled and said, "I could smell you were cooking good food recently." Then she turned to her crew, "Okay! So, we have our new cook! Because Dean's a terrible cook! Now, move out and get supplies! I'm gonna check out the execution stand!"

Aaron stood grounded in his spot, flabbergasted by the sudden recruitment to the blind girl's pirate crew. He wondered if she were kidding or not, but he didn't care, as long as he could finally get off of the island.

Cass ran back to where the rest of the crew was after securing her gear on the ship. "What'd I miss?" she asked, catching her breath.

Blare stayed next to Ami not wanting her to get hurt in any way, but she kept an eye on Aaron. She wouldn't let him hurt Ami and if he did, she wouldn't let him get away with it.
