So apparently, Nintendo is taking votes on the next DLC character to create. And it looks like you can submit more than one entry! 8D
You guys planning on chucking a few suggestions in? If so, who?
I'll be frankāI cast my first vote for Isaac from the Golden Sun series because dammit, some well-deserved recognition for these under-appreciated games is long overdue.
As for my second vote...while Lloyd would make more sense and Kratos is my favorite...I actually nominated Colette. My reasons being that there are enough swordsmen on the roster, and more girl power would be nice. razz
...Well yeah, if you know GS then you'll know that reasoning is very contradicting to my pick of Isaac, but I figure the fandom is putting all their backing on the most surefire shot. Since he used to be an Assist Trophy and all.

I'm a bit disappointed that he's just a costume (with no dualblade option!), but that's still pretty awesome.

Evilweirdo 0 I'm a bit disappointed that he's just a costume (with no dualblade option!), but that's still pretty awesome. Well you see, they had to nerf him because with two swords, he'd be twice as powerful against the other fighters... wink
In all seriousness, though. I guess it has to go to the default one-handed so that the other hand is free to pick up an item. I mean, it's a thing that happens with Link---though it's weird because if the other hand has, say, a Beam Sword he doesn't play like a dual-wield; he just uses the hand that's holding the item. xp
I also feel the same! But if anything, he may be upgraded to actual playable character in the next Smash? 8'D

We can pick up beam swords and such, at least, despite the weirdness. On the bright side, there's still hope for Isaac, right? I haven't played Golden Sun, but I was happy to see Shulk without having first played Xenoblade, so...
