I don't know if anyone out there has had this same issue but the last Pride I went to here had literally no inclusion of Trans individuals. I just wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue and what is your view on this?

I have heard of pride parades only being for gays and lesbians. Bisexual? Not only there is nothing for you, you'll get attacked verbally, emotionally, physically, all of the above, or a combination of the two. Trans? Nothing for you either.
I used to want to go to a pride event, but because of the treatment of bisexuals there, I am too scared to go.

I think it's awful that trans people were excluded. Transgendered people deserve to show their pride in themselves just as much as cisgendered gay men and lesbians.
There are no pride parades around here (I'm from a small town), but I would certainly raise a stink if there were one and it excluded the transgendered.

It's why I don't openly state my sexuality unless asked in the right circumstance. I am not a traditional bi man, unless you mean in the depraved bisexual way, what with all the wine and recreational drug use. But that's a personal issue, not a moral one.

I haven't ever been to a Pride Parade or anything, but I definitely think Transgender people should be included. They are all part of the same community, and more harassed than cisgender gay people according to statistics, so I think they deserve to be in the Parade if they wish to, definitely.

I haven't been to a pride event, but I have heard of incidents where trans, bi, and even straight allies were not welcome. I'm hoping with Caitlin Jenner's transition that will help bring about change, but who knows. All I do know is that if someone is showing up to an event to show their support, it shouldn't matter what they identify as or what they look like. They are there to support, so don't bash them and make them feel unwanted.
