She laughed, jumping down. "It really is, but I'm happy to be on the ground and looking back up. So much nicer down here~" Fi nodded as if she knew held all the answers in one comment. "Your hand is really warm~"

"Phew, I agree. Much better. You're a good height." He could just tuck her head under his chin, or so he imagined. At the mention of their held hands, he blushed and gave a gentle squeeze. "I've got to stay close and guard you after all." Yeah, that was completely it. Totally.

She blushed, happy to hear him say he liked her height. What was wrong with her? She felt like a little girl again! How on the isle was he making her feel like that?
"Just to guard me?" She looked up at him from under her hair, a sly look on her face. "I thought this was a date, not a grand event needing a guard~"

"Guards can go on dates too. Call it, two rabbits with one snare." His silver eyes lifted up as they reached the lake. And it was every bit as calming as he remembered. With all the rain, the grass around was a vibrant green. And little frogs happily jumped into their spacious home when they saw the two faun approaching. "But I might be bad at dates in general. This is admittedly my first."

"If you say so Mr. Guard." She teased, nudging him with her shoulder. Her attention had all been on him when they first arrived at the lake, it wasn't until the splashing of frogs hiding from their approach that she even realized they had arrived at the lake. Well, pond really.
"Is it? I think this might be my first date too... I don't remember~" Strange enough, it didn't seem to bother her. Maybe it was because she really didn't care, or that it didn't seem like he didn't care she couldn't remember. Whatever it was, Fi was clearly happy about the date.

When she nudged him with her shoulder, he slipped his hand from hers to wrap around her shoulders instead. He wanted to enjoy this first little moment there before walking around the edge. "I hope you remember this date then at least." He turned his head to look at her before letting a bit of a sly smile on his face. "Or...at least remember this." Kaiden lowered his head as he brought her around from the grip on her shoulders to gently kiss the faunness.
A kiss in front of a lake. Maybe he wasn't so bad at dates after all.

She was about to respond when their lips pressed together, her own opening in a small 'o' out of shock. She didn't remember kissing, or anything like it. It was weird. A nice weird, but still different. Maybe that was the word she was looking for. Red-brown eyes that had widened in the moment of unexpected contact slowly closed, enjoying the moment. It wasn't long before a quiet feeling of familiarity started nudging the back of her mind. Had they kissed before? Maybe they had and she was just forgetting it.
Hesitant, her hands slid up to his shoulders, resting there gently as they pressed their faces together. What was better for getting to know one another than pressing some seriously important parts of their heads together?

The thought that she already forgotten their first kiss didn't pop up, but others along those lines inevitably would. As it was, he simply enjoyed the contact, her hands gently on his shoulders. Before slowly pulling away. "Come on. Lets walk around the pond."
And with that, he gently guided her away while starting off an amusing tale about the time he as a kid stumbled onto a wild bear. After a full go around, it was starting to become late so he escorted her back up to her room for the night.
OOC: Since this rp has been open since march, we decided to do a little skipperuni to the next rp <3
