"Wellspring Cave"

An underground river running through the southeast of Unova. There is an opening between Striaton and Nacrene cities that allows travellers to enter it's depths and explore the exposed portion of it.

As she had thought. Once entering the cave, her eyes quickly adjusted. She was used to there being little light, considering it was almost always cloudy and snowing in Snowbelle City. Looking around she heard various noises around the cave, either from the clicking of the woobat in the dark corners of the cave or the digging of a nearby Drilbur tunneling back into it's underground system. It wasn't long before she met one of the cave dwelling Pokemon in a Roggenrola. Scanning the little guy, she softly signed to herself, smiling only a bit. "Alright, Sheena. Let's see what you can do." Shiva called out, tossing forward the Froslass' ball. She appeared to be less upset then before, going right for an Ice Punch. The Roggenrola leaped forward for a Tackle, but found itself frozen stiff instead, giving Sheena the chance to get in another hit. Shattering the ice, she punched the Roggenrola's body, this time knocking it out. She turned with a huff, coming to Shiva's side. Sheena was certainly tough, that couldn't be questioned, but perhaps just training her would wear her out to much. Kuval was also helpful, not particularly in this upcoming gym, but soon, so she shouldn't favor one over the other. besides, Kuval was her starter, she had to keep him in tip-top shape.

"Alright, let's keep going." Shiva said with a smile. The ghost placed either hand on his hip-region, a smile seemingly fighting to stay on her face. The frown finally returned when another Roggenrola appeared before them. Raising a fist, the ghost floated forward. The Roggenrola got one sight of Sheena and leaped forward, trying for a blind tackle, only to pass right through Sheena's body. The ghost turned sharply and with an ice incrusted fist she slammed it down upon the rock. The ice grew, but it couldn't stop the Roggenrola from breaking away and trying for a Headbutt, once more only to pass right through Sheena's body. Raising her fist she brought it back down, knocking out the rock. Whipping off her hands, the ghost returned to Shiva's front, turning as if on guard. "Well, this hardly feels like training.." She sighed, raising a hand to her cheek. Couldn't any of the Pokemon here hurt Sheena? Not that she wanted Sheena to get hurt, but how could it be very good training if Sheena is only gaining experience in inflicting pain? This trainer stuff was harder than it sounded....

Delving deeper into the cave, the trio found themselves soon facing a dead end, with no way else to go but back the other way. Though a particularly flat looking rock made a rather nice perch Shiva. Tucking in her legs close, she rested her head down on her knees. Kuval and Sheena each stayed upon the ground, calling for any challengers to come their way.

Moments later a young man, dressed in some extravagant clothes came walking through the cave and right for Shiva. He seemed upset, but not angry, taking his time to approach her. About a few feet away from the protective duo that were Shiva's Pokemon, the man rose a hand into the air. "Yo! Could you keep them down, lady?" Raising her head, Shiva quirked a brow. Was that a demand or simple request? She could tell... his tone and posture were giving different signals.
"Umm.... Sure?" Shiva replied.
"Cool, thanks." With that he began to turn away before stopping mid-step. Shiva was fairly curious.... was that all he wanted? The cave wasn't really all that loud, he could have asked at a greater distance. "Say, you're a trainer right?" The man asked as he turned back around. Shiva nodded. "Cool, cool. So uh, would you care for a battle?" A battle? With another trainer? Were they ready? Kuval's confident stance seemed to answer her question. Even if they weren't ready, it was going experience right?
"Sure." Shiva replied once more, hopping down from her rock to approach the man.
"Sweet, alright, let me test out my recent capture then." he grinned, letting out a fairly large Pokemon... but a rather sweet and cute looking one. An Audino, the same Pokemon that helps the Nurse Joy's of Unova right? How precious. She didn't know they could be caught around here. Maybe if she won she'd ask this man where he'd captured his. Though, being a normal-type the Audino wasn't likely going to know anything other then normal-type moves, so sending Sheena to fight was her best bet. Once the battle started, it was immediately known by both sides that Sheena was going to win.. All his Audino knew were normal-type moves, of which Sheena was immune to. Beating back the healer with a few Ice Punches eventually did the poor girl in. Shiva cheered for Sheena, rushing to her companions side after the Audino had fallen.
"Sucks... Guess you won. Type advantage all the way." With a soldem nod, the man waved good-bye to Shiva and quickly retreated towards the entrance of the cave. He was likely going to the Pokemon Center or... whatever he if he had a camp set up or something.

Plopping herself back down on her rock, Shiva rested back on her hands, watching as Sheena and Kuval exchanged looks. Sheena was getting stronger and fast, compared to when she was a Snorunt, she was twice the Pokemon she was. It was good though, to see the timid little one grow in confidence. She wasn't all that little anymore was she? Kicking her feet, Shiva watched her boots for awhile before something caught her attention from the corner of her eye. Looking down she found it was a pretty pink colour. "Whats that?" Shiva pondered, leaning forward until she was resting practically on her stomach. "Just..a...little..fur..ther..." Squeezed between her index and middle fingers she finally got a hold of the object, finding it smooth and hard... like a rock, perhaps a jewel? When finally she'd gotten back up straight, Kuval and Sheena had wondered over. "It's a pink stone." Shiva explained.. it was pretty obvious what it was... but Shiva didn't know much beyond that. Well.. it was pretty to say the least, so maybe she'd keep it? Gently placing it into it's own little pocket within her bag, Shiva shrugged at Kuval and Sheena.

Returning to their lookout, Shiva herself began to fiddle with her Holocaster, picking out some music to listen too. Once she'd placed her headphones over her ears, she was lost to the world. Quietly humming to herself, she tapped her foot to the rock in rhythm with the song. Apparently though, it wasn't to catchy to a sleeping Drilbur, hidden under the rock she was resting on. The mole quickly dug up from under the earth, thrusting rocks and dirt in every direction it could as it came up from it's hole. "Awk! Hey! Stop that!" Shiva called, raising her hands to cover her face, showing little concern for her clothing. Sheena and Kuval didn't take to kindly to the attack, rushing to Shiva's aid. Sheena was slightly faster, but she wasn't able to weave or dodge between the flinging mud that the Drilbur was tossing into the air, until she could get close enough to the tiring mole to sock him one across the back of the head. Her ice in-coated fist knocked the poor dear clean out. Falling forward it fell into it's hole and tumbled into the darkness below. Kuval rushed forward and quickly kicked in some dirt with a huff. "Now, now... It was my fault after all." Shiva mentioned, as she hopped down from the rock to brush herself off. "Let's find a new place to train." She mentioned, motioning with her free hand. Sheena and Kuval seemed apprehensive about this choice, but they followed along anyway.
