I recently pushed my limits by moving out of my parent's house and into a friend's place, 680 miles away. I've been wanting to leave home for a few years now, but never really had an opportunity until now. So I gathered my finances and my belongings and moved. It's been a week, and while I feel lonely and out of place more often than not, I absolutely adore it here. Florida is flat and hot. Tennessee is beautiful and mountainy and cold and I got to see snow for the first time a few days ago, and even if I do fail here and have to return home, I will never regret making this choice.
Congrats on selling art!! I'm sorry you lost money, but I am so proud of you for having the courage to put yourself out there!

When I was 17 I packed up my car took my dog and took off. I got my a** out of my abusive home and have been taking care of myself since. It was kinda rough especially since nobody will rent to or take you seriously at that age. I spent some time living in hotels and my car, but I kept a job and graduated high school.
