The toyger is a breed of domestic cat, the result of breeding domestic short haired tabbies (beginning in the 1980s) to make them resemble a "toy tiger", as its striped coat is reminiscent of the tiger's. Head Shape: Medium-sized, with a dominant deep, skewed, cylindrical muzzle on an oval head. Toyger's ears are small and round. Wide set toward the back of the head and oriented on a 45 degree line towards the center of the eyes. Short but thickly furred temples and ears are preferred. Lynx tipping is undesirable. Their eyes are medium, circular with gentle hooding of upper inside. Set wide apart, back into face, and on a slight bias toward the base of the ear. Rich deep color preferred. The Toyger's muzzles are very well defined, long, broad and deep with rounded muscular contours. Full face view suggests an inverted heart shape. The front muzzle line/plane is skewed forward to produce a more frontal view of nose leather, mouth, and chin than in most small felines. Their noses muscular, long, broad, and rounded, widening toward the end to at least as wide as the space between the eyes. Their torso's are medium to deep, long and muscular with rounded contours; strong and robust but not blocky. Legs and feet are a medium length such that the space between the ground and the body is roughly equal to the depth of the torso. Boning is very large. The tail is very long and not thick. Taper is slight with blunt, rounded tip. Fur is dense and short. Very muscular and athletic looking, especially in young males. Coat is uniformly short. Fur may be longer in the temple jowl/ruff; the suggestion of more of a ruff is preferred. Markings shall be virtually black to brown to even tan. Very dark markings are preferred. A bright pumpkin ground color with very dark markings is preferred. Whited ground color shall be as uniformly light to virtually white as possible. Markings are like a mackerel tabby. The markings to the ground pattern contrast must be extreme and distinct, giving a clear, sharply edged pattern. Body stripes shall generally be vertically aligned with encircling markings on neck, legs, and tail. Bold, braided, and non-uniform stripes are preferred. Belly and inside of legs must be marked. Paw pads and tail tip must be black. The head has Facial stripes and markings shall be circularly aligned around the face. Traditional tabby markings moving radially away from the face for any distance are undesirable. Lighter to virtually white 'thumb marks' on the back of the ears are desirable. Natural 'make-up' is important: eyes must have black 'mascara' markings and whited spectacles, desirable for mouth to have black lipstick markings.

Abyssinian cats are one of the oldest feline breeds in the world. Although they may not be closely related, their appearance greatly resembles the cats depicted in Egyptian hieroglyphics and scriptures. They are known to be extremely curious felines and can almost never be seen just sitting in one place. This makes them perfect furry companions for those looking for playful pets but can’t handle the responsibility of caring for a larger animal. Abyssinian cats have sleek muscular bodies, long legs, and short coats. Their heads are wedge-shaped with slightly rounded edges. They have almond shaped eyes which appear to be too large for the size of their face and large pointed ears. The Aby’s ticked or agouti coat is one of the most appealing physical characteristics of this breed. Each strand of hair has bands that alternate between light and dark shades. This makes their coat look shimmery even if they are stationary. Abyssinian cats are very active and curious creatures. Needless to say, this breed is not suitable for those who looking for lap or decorative cats. Occasionally though, they will allow their owners to stroke them and will even ask for some cuddle time.
Their curiosity can be troublesome at times as they like to stick their noses into almost anything. They will climb up bookcases and cabinets when curiosity strikes. However, Abys rarely knock off items on shelves and table tops because of their agility and fluid movement. Their curious nature makes them clowns of the feline kingdom as it can lead them to do strange and funny things. Some of these include playing with running water and figuring out where ice chips go when they melt. They can be quite entertaining to watch. Abys are extremely loyal and affectionate felines. They are always willing to play with their owners and even guests. They like being around people which means they don’t hide out when there’s a party going on. In fact, they love being in the center of things.


Turkish Angora cats have long, silky coats and elegant, sinuous bodies. Though it is known for a shimmery white coat, Turkish angora cats can display a variety of colors. They come in tabby and tabby-white, along with smoke varieties, and are in every color other than those that indicate hybridization (cross breeding), such as pointed, chocolate and lavender.
Eyes may be blue, green, amber, yellow, or odd-eyed (e.g., one blue and one amber or green). Ears are pointed, large and wide-set. The eyes are almond shaped and the profile forms two straight planes. The plumed tail is often carried upright, perpendicular to the back. Turkish Angora cats are playful, intelligent, athletic and involved. They bond with humans, but often select a particular member of the family to be their constant companion. They are in turn, very protective of their person. They seek to be "helpful" in any way they can with their humans, and their intelligence is at times remarkable, showing basic problem solving skills. They are easily trained, including deaf Turkish Angoras, both because of their intelligence and their desire to interact with humans. Turkish angoras are energetic, and often seek out "high ground" (or perch) in the home. This perch is then used as a way to observe activity of the home. This could include tops of doors, bookshelves, and other furniture. Some ride on their owners' shoulders. Their personality makes the breed desirable to certain people. They get along well in homes with other animals, children, and high activity.
