User ImageThe colors in Sirius' coat flickered in a livelier fashion as he looked down at Deimos, frowning in thought. He knew the spirit inside didn't mean him harm. He didn't know why it chose to stay with him, but it had never lied to him. The fashion in which it gave him answers, frustrating though it was, was actually far more helpful in the long run when he stopped to look back on things. It was natural to wish to be handed answers or to want someone to protect him, but it wouldn't do him any good to be coddled and some answers weren't that simple. He could understand the caution Hestia viewed Deimos with. He knew more about spirits than he would have liked, and knew that carrying one of unspecified origin around like a toy was considered 'not a good idea'.

It was just a whole lot of complicated, and so he suppressed the urge to defend Deimos' actions, knowing there was no way he could find words to help Hestia understand why he thought the spirit was doing its best by him.

Thankfully there was another part of the conversation that he was able to pick up on.

"Affinity for fire," he repeated, tilting his head as his bright red eyes shone with curiosity. He recalled with strange way his appearance had behaved when Hestia first introduced herself. Was that what that had been? "You don't look it. Have you always had it?

I'm gonna see if I can flesh Dei's story out a bit more, I kinda left a lot of things half finished with him and Sirius > -> Will let you know when I figure all the things out.
