Corazon eyed the man, "Treats!" What he gave her last time was NOT a treat and clearly this needed to be fixed. At least if she said what she actually wanted, then it would be fixed.
All was right in Aloikis' world. Everyone had treats for him! If it wasn't a treat then a weird stranger would trade him for candies if he didn't like what he received. Best holiday ever!
Terzjian did give a shiny rock to the little pink one, but ultimately passed out handful after handful of candy to the children rather than any more shiny rocks. Was he feeling generous? Perhaps, but he was also thinking that the more he gave away, the less there was to tempt himself with later.
Corazon had been talked to again, and warned that if she was talked to again,she'd have to go home and only Aloiki could keep trick or treating. So she put on her biggest smile and said, "Thank you!" And thought real hard about more treats please!
All smiles Aloiki squirmed as he got closer to the booth with the pae like him! They both had tails though he had never been swimming himself the other looked quite comfortable in the water. "Tricks or treats!" A rock collection would be so neat. Daddy said he came form a pearl so maybe a gold rock would give him a little brother?
