D-Rank
D-rank missions are usually suited for genin fresh from the Academy. They pose almost no risk to the ninja's life and usually consist of odd jobs like farming and babysitting work. The reward for a D-rank mission is usually between 5,000 and 50,000 ryō.
Canine Troubles A little kid was walking his dog when it ran away to the slums. Having been told never to venture there alone, he quickly ran to the Hokage's office and spilled his lunch money for the week on the table for someone to go there and bring it back. Rank: D Mission Type: Find and Return Client: Little Kid Target: Dog (Link to profile) Location: 50 paces from Konoha Street when heading to the Nearly abandoned guard station while using back streets (Konoha Slums). Experience: 200 XP Reward: 10,000 ryo Tracking: Add "101 - 125 : Runaway Dog" to encounter list. Add [Survival x 2] to the odds of finding it. Special: A succesful grapple check is required to catch the dog (it should clam down in your hands). Add [Handle Animal] to grapple check. If spotted by the dog, pass an Athletics DC of 12 to catch up to it and attempt another grapple (encounters still occur during attempts). Between encounters, members may attempt Seduction checks of a DC of 15 to gather information about the dog. Every succesful check increases odds of finding it by 5.
C-Rank
C-rank missions are usually suited for more experienced genin or chūnin. They are missions anticipated to have some combat involved with the possibility of injury to the shinobi performing it. Examples are guarding people, background investigations, or capturing or suppressing wild animals. The reward for a C-rank mission is usually between 30,000 and 100,000 ryō.
Aiding the Elderly An old woman is coming to Kokoyashi to visit a friend and was warned at the gate that the road could be dangerous for someone who was without protection. Just to be on the safe side she decided to wait at the gate and post a mission request for an escort. Rank: C Mission Type: Escort Client: Old Woman [Link to profile] Starting Location: Defensive Wall's main gate (Suiran Forest) Experience: 500 XP Reward: 50,000 ryo Special: Client can only travel at walking speed by herself and is pretty fragile. Need to be extra careful if trouble arises.
B-Rank
B-rank missions are usually suited for experienced chūnin. They are missions anticipated to involve combat with other ninja. Examples are guarding people, espionage, or killing other ninja. The reward for a B-rank mission is between 150,000 and 200,000 ryō.
Counter Espionage We have received intel from Rankashu that a particularly troublesome Foreign Science unit has been causing troulbe in the marshes (they usually have the decency to be discrete). He asked that their activities be stopped and offers a small bonus if they are brought back alive so he can verify what they've learned (don't ask too many questions...) Rank: B Mission Type: Find and Destroy Client: Rankashu Target: Dangerous F.S.U, Location: Usually spotted around the halfway point between Rankusha's lab and the Advanced Recon Post when cutting through the marshes (Bukimisawa Marshes). Tracking: Add "101 - 125 : Dangerous F.S.U." to encounter list. Add [Survival] to the odds of finding it. Experience: 500 XP Reward: 150,000 ryo if disposed of, 175,000 ryo if brought back alive. Special: Roll encounter normally, +5 levels to targets, 1 has kekkei genkai from the village they come from.
A-Rank
A-rank missions are usually suited for jōnin, concerning, among other things, village-or state-level matters and trends. Examples are guarding VIPs or suppressing ninja forces. The reward for an A-rank mission is between 150,000 and 1,000,000 ryō.

Dimi Deiod
Hiru squeezes in between all of the other shinobis looking at the job offers and walks up to the mission board. Shinobis all around back away a bit with uneasy looks as Hiru squints at the various offers. He then turns his head to Masanori who is just walking up to him.
Hey Masanori, there's apparently an infiltration squad lurking around the marshes. Pay looks good... You got a few days to spend in the field?

Masanori realised it became alot easier to move through the masses the closer he came towards Hiru. His faced turned somewhat sour as he realised that the extra space was probably because of the two having just been accepted as a part of the "Leaf" society and suspcion was clearly hanging on their faces.
"I will always stand by your side - you know that right? Lets make our new friends proud of us by completing the mission with our outmost focus"
He gave Hiru a pat on the shoulder and that hypnotizing good guy smile.

Hiru looks away for a second with an uneasy smile.
Even by his standards that was absurdly fake...
Hiru gets up straight a bit more and pats Masanori on the shoulder.
Alright then, let's get to the marshes. Suiran forest should be a pretty quick run before we reach our destination.

Hoshigaki Hiru
Noticing Hiru's uneasy smile, he figured that his cover had been slightly revealed. He swore heavily and many times over and over again behind the still smiling face.
"Right! I'll just grab my mission-backpack by the apartment and I'll catch up with you by the gate"
He followed Hiru out of the room, with a firey glare, piercing the neck of his teammate. "He shouldn't be able to figure me out.. He is too stupid for that!"

Inosuki Yamanaka
Inosuki looked at the mission board. Escorting an old lady through the forest didn't sound to hard and honestly she needed both the money and the entertainment. She tore the sheet off the board and walked toward the village gates, popping a piece of gum into her mouth.
Hiru walks to the mission board. As he gets close to it, someone from the crowded shinobis nearby spits in his face and utters "Mist scum...". Hiru barely acknowledges him, simply wiping the liquid from his cheek and turns to his team.
Okay team, team... guess we'll have to find a name... But we can do that on a mission! In the meantime, I see a lot of the missions are gone, but there might be one perfectly suited for a fresh batch of genin from the academy.
While looking at the three genin, Hiru points to the dog mission, a big smile on his face.

Fuji looks to the person who spat at her jounin instructor. Sure, he was quick to dismiss it, she took their face down, or at least tried to as she planned to make the son of a biznatch pay for insulting her instructor. Her attention, however, was drug away from revenge and she was suddenly faced with another menial task. "Dog...Mission...?", She inquired with a tilt of her head, clearly perplexed by the prospect.
Kenshi looked at the man that had spat at their teacher, noting the words. Looking to Hiru he spoke "Why just accept something like that? You are one of the strongest shinobi of Konoha, and constantly put your life at risk for their sakes... Don't they know that?" he said as he watched the man walk away. He was rather angered about the fact that the man who spit simply forgot the fact that this "scum" had been laying his life down on the line for him every day since he joined leaf. Hiru had long ago proven his loyalty to Konoha, it was not right to treat a hero of the people like that. After calming himself down he looked at the mission board and heard Fujiko's response, he calmly looked at her and back to their sensei and spoke " We'll just have to hope that his time Fujiko doesn't try to kill the dog..." he said, trying his best to make a joke at his teammate. They small smile lasted only a few moments as Kenshi's usual serious visage quickly returned and he awaited the instructions of his teacher.
((Sorry about that guys, I was traveling and things got delayed, I am back now!))

Akira watched as the events unfolded before his very eyes. Some random man spit in Hiru-sensei''s eyes and the male, like the rest of his squad, was not happy about it. His near-collorless eyes pierced daggers at the male as he walked away, his face showing a great deal of disdain. It was one thing to voice your frustrations but he took it to the physical realm and that took it too far. Besides, he was training the future of Konoha so in essence he was being an asset to the country.
The young shinobi shook his head in disappointment as he looked over at Hiru who had wiped the spit from his face and pointed out the mission. Akira squinted and looked at the board and the mission and immediately looked off as he read its details.
Hiru notices the three genin seem troubled by this event but prefers to change the subject to get back to business.
It seems a little boy lost his dog in the slums... This is actually going to be a great mission for you guys! You get to help both a family and their pet. Keep in mind, this is a rescue mission, that animal is in serious danger at the moment so you need to hurry!
He takes a pause to look at a shinobi signaling him in the distance.
It seems I have some business to take care of here before I join you. You guys go ahead and I'll catch up once I'm done! All the info is on the mission post.
He takes it off and hands it to Akira who's the closest. Good luck you guys! Save some action for me!
All movement rules now apply to this mission, read the details in the "Ranger HQ" to see how to do it. If you want an example, Hiru has been moving alone in the marshes in a flashback that you can look at, and the SUiran forest first post has an example of a group moving at sprint speed.
Use the template Hiru uses in the marshes to state the destination, distance, fatigue, etc.
And, don't hesitate to ask if you have questions!

Akira looks over and grabs the mission scroll just as he sees Hiru-sensei hand it to him and vanish. The male looked down at said scroll then turned around to face Fujiko and Kenshi. The male then looked up towards the two and shrugged. "Well, back to the slums we go. Anyone have any ideas on how to go about the mission?"
Kenshi looked about the group and listened to Akira who was handed the scroll by their sensei. After a few moments he spoke up "I'd say we should go the way we did last time when we were headed to the water station. That should take us towards the center of the slums... I think." he said as he looked at the two. Then he turned towards Akira and nodded a bit as he continued " Then you should be able to help us locate the dog right? Your clan is excellent at locating targets aren't they?" he said as he looked at Akira. Kenshi wasn't really familiar with all the specifics of Akira's clan, just that he had heard they were among the best tracking shinobi in the business. He assumed Fujiko wouldn't mind such a strategy either, but he awaited to hear her response, and input, before just deciding his plan was the best one.
((I am not sure who's post was next, so I am just going to go ahead and post one here to move it along towards the actual mission))
