"There must be some where...the world has many forest. I strongly suggest you leave and go some where else..far far away..." There was another hint of something in his voice, trying to tell her with out speaking. When she reached for his neck he jumped a bit "Don't touch -" but she quickly found out on her own not to do that. "...My lips are sealed.."he whispered, his voice slightly strained.

"I just want to scare her off, thats all. I am sure i can manage that.,,I'm going to leave Chel here..I rather not repeat what happened earlier..." He gently pat Chel, and whispered something to her again in that strange language. He turned away and hurried to the exit of the care, careful to watch his step so he didn't hurt himself. He held up his hands in the way he had done before and slowly move forward.

He tiptoed around, and just peaked out from the rocks. See the women he was some what hesitant, but it didn't stop him from continuing forward. he aimed his hand at the water. Muttered those odd wards again before that blue light shot from his fingers. it was slightly brighter then it had been before. It hit the water, which caused an odd reaction. It jumped up and formed massive spike like formations Nearly blocking off the cave entirely, but with a little effort one could probably slip between the larger spikes of ice. Of course - none of them actually hit her or got to close. Just to scare, a warning. He hope she got it and left this place.

Lalainia had just finished eating her jerky and had put the rest away in a quick fashion. Standing up, she threw the packs over her shoulders and was about to continue tracking until she saw a bright light. "What in the..." She took a step back, and watched as she saw ice forming. "Well, isn't that a sight to be seen?"

Feeling confident that this was the way to head, she began to walk but realized that she couldn't find a way up, let alone knew how there mught be people in that direction. "Er.. Hello. I'm not trying to harm anyone." She raised her voice, hoping to combat the roar of the waterfall, but she wasn't sure it would be heard. The only thing she could do was wait.

Lune grabbed hold of the ice, digging his nails in and clawing his way up.He jumped up to one of the larger ice chunks, and slide between a large crack that was in it. Passing through he jumped onto another piece, it was up high but he was now in view. He held his hand up, defensively but not in to aggressive manner. He didn't want to fight if he had to. He eyed her a moment, before slowly dropping his arms. But he still looked some what ready to fight. It looked like she had just stopped to eat something, just another traveler. A over reaction on his part.

"I thought you were one of the people that had been chasing me earlier. I have haven't had the best day, and it has left me a bit jumpy. My apologies...I should of examined the situation and thought it over more before acting so quickly..."he put a hand on his head, and let out a soft groan. He muttered something to himself, hiding his head before shaking it. He looked back at her, not to sure what to say."this is awkward..i...I'm just gonna go. you enjoy what ever your eating.."

Lalainia blinked, watching the man appear. He had mentioned the bandits, then apologized. This made the swordswoman wonder why the bandits were after him in the first place. "You mean the bandits? No, I beat them in a dual of sorts." She held out one of the packs, offering them to show she was friendly. Before she followed through on her job, she wanted to quell the curiosity that had started. "They have food and supplies in them if you need to stock up."

She stayed where she was, a small smile on her face. "Also, no need to apologize, I've had to be on edge since entering the grounds. I understand the need to act before examining." She hadn't seen any other prints, so she assumed it was just the man and his animal - that couldn't be too hard. Then again, she could always see what the man had to offer in exchange for getting out of her current job. Decisions, decisions.

"right..." He suddenly frowned and gave her a once over. He could of been referring to anyone. There were lots of people like that out here, outs of thieves, gangs, bandits. All sorts. Of course one could easily assume it were bandits. But with out doubt she already knew that those bandits were the same that chased him. Suspicious. Being so many it would be odd of her to assume this. It pointed to her having a conversation with them. Long enough that for what eve reason they explained what happened earlier, with enough detail to describe what he looked like other wise how would she know it was him they were talking about? Was he over thinking? Maybe. But doing that often saved his life.

"I'm fine, thank you" he didn't trust her enough to come down, let alone come close to take what was offered. "I think its best we part ways now..go eat your food else where, please. cant be to careful here..you know how it is."

As Lune, against her advice, wandered carefully back along the dark path, Adelaira remained seated on her rock. Turning her attention to Chel, she gently petted the reindeer, despite the slight sting remaining in her hands. I know better than to cast my light magic without channeling it through my staff, she pondered to herself. And yet I continue to do so. While not impossible, it was tricky to heal herself- particularly her hands, as she needed to touch the wounds she was mending.

Though the water distorted the actual conversation away, Adelaira did hear the soft drift of the voices of the two strangers to the forest. Nuzzling Chel's face, Adelaira sighed. "I best get out there, in case your master puts himself or our hiding place at risk." Adelaira patted Chel, motioning for her to stay, and turned to walk towards the secondary exit- one that would wrap around and open up a little bit away, so that if necessary she could flank the woman.

However, her mind was so wrapped up in the possible stratigies, she tripped right over Lune's discarded pack- and felt a burn of malevolence hit her feet so strong she jumped away. What...? She had not sensed any of that energy from him, and yet it came from his neck, and his bag? Growing gradually suspicious, especially with his ominous statements from earlier, Adelaira rested her hand on Chel. "You'd tell me, love, if he was a bad man, wouldn't you?" Though her own eyes were blank, Adelaira did her best to meet the gaze of Chel. Chel's spirit was soothing, but weatherworn- she had been through a lot for her rider, Lune, and would go through it all again. That did a lot to allay her worries, and Adelaira swiftly moved to accompany Lune outside.

She appeared out of the cave system far to the east of the two, unnoticed, and too far away to be seen or heard around the bend, before walking into the forest, slipping into the trees and using them to navigate, before dropping noiselessly a few feet behind the strange woman. She said nothing, made no sound, merely waited to be noticed.

At the last thing Lune had said, Lalainia smiled. "I get it, it's not common to find another person just trying to survive." She stayed where she was, keeping her gaze to the man. "I assure you, I'm no enemy." Though he had every right to be suspicious of her, that would only make her job harder - to which she had made it harder on herself by mentioning the bandits, but sometime her pride got in the way. Figuring she was only being more suspicious with what she had already said, she might as well just take the packs and leave. She'd just tell the bandits that the guy got away - it wasn't like she had accepted the job for profit anyhow.

Sensing someone behind her - though she might've earlier if she hadn't been so focused on the man - she turned around. "Hello." Laney blinked a few times, feeling like she recognized this elven girl from somewhere. It had hit her a moment later, when she thought back to her companions at the bar. While she herself didn't enjoy needless killing and hunting, they did and they always seemed to tell stories of a pink haired elven girl who would appear from no where and defend the animals. She had shrugged it off as a story, but she was looking at her with her own eyes. 'This entire job just became harder than I've already made it...'

Chel had followed her out, mainly to be with Lune. She moved to him as close to him as she close to him as she could, but was unable to climb up the icey spikes. Lune glanced back to look at them, sighing lightly at seeing them both out. "Great. glad to hear it...I'll be on my way then" he slide back down the spikes, moving through to the other side to meet the girl and Chel again. he looked to her and smiled."thank you for everything. but i really must go. I need to find a safe place before the sun goes down." he looked back, glancing back at the other women."I have a bad feeling about her....i think its best we both avoid her ya?"

Adelaira frowned when she sensed Chel following her, but there was nothing she could do. I suppose that she doesn't like being left alone. Adelaira's face remained impassive as the woman greeted her, but she inclined her head slightly in greeting. "Hello." She said warily. Self defense was one thing, but this woman had happened upon still-trapped bandits and thoroughly trounced them, presumably for fun. She was the sort of person, on that level, that Adelaira wished away from her forest. And yet, her actual spirit doesn't have any malevolence coming off of it.

As Lune approached, Adelaira shifted her gaze to him. "I do apologize. I did attempt to tell Chel to stay in the cave." As he thanked her again, needlessly, she merely nodded, and smiled wanly. "I haven't gone in myself, but following the waterfall cave down leds to some metal fortress underground. It may be what you're looking for." She repeated herself, in case he had been too distracted to hear her before. When he spoke of the other woman, her empty gaze flickered to her, and Adelaira observed her spirit. "She's not sinister. But that doesn't mean she's not dangerous. I would advise wariness at the least." She gave a small bow and one last smile. "It was nice to meet you. I hope you enjoy your time in the forest." And she crouched, and with a great push of her legs, jumped into a tree.

Though she gave no indication of it to either person, in fact made some branches rustle farther away with some low level light magic so it looked like she had run off, Adelaira remained in the trees nearby. She watched the woman warrior, with a small glance at Lune from time to time, wondering what they would do. Lune she had decided to trust- begrudingly, and only for the time being- on the word of Chel, so to speak. But this woman needed watching while she was in the forest.

Lalainia gave a nod to the man before setting a pack down on the grass in case he needed it. He hadn't shown any signs of aggression toward her, so she didn't have a reason to bring him to the bandits just yet. She gave another nod to the woman, before sighing heavily and making her way away from the hidden cave. Once a far enough distance - but still close enough to monitor if the man left, she began talking to herself as she had earlier. "Well, the reindeer is out of the question. It's not right to kill something so dear to another." She kicked up some rocked and sat on a tree root.

"How am I supposed to do this anyway? All I wanted was to get a free drink at the bar and two jobs pay. Now it's turned into a retrieval of sorts?" Letting out another sigh, she shook her head. She didn't like killing animals for sport, that was an idea of fun for her friends. The only time she had ever killed an animal was when it came charging at her aggressively without being provoked. "And even then I felt bad about it." Her pride was going to get her in all sorts of trouble.

Adelaira's eyes narrowed thoughtfully as Lalainia muttered about the reindeer. While her eyes did not have the power to see, they still managed to reveal quite a bit about what she was thinking, if you looked strongly enough. Resting her hands against the bark of the tree for balance, Adelaira reflected on the pulsing rivers of spiritual energy that flowed through everything. If it were not for that energy, she could not 'see'- and nothing would truly survive. There'd be no peace, no connection between things. The animals and the forest would not feel the intrinsic connection, the need to protect each other. Man would not admire the beauty around them, and instead destroy like a mindless monster. Many were losing their connection to the spirits, and hunting madly. Adelaira was determined to stop them- even if their number included the girl in front of her.

However, her works were at odds with some of her behavior. Retrieval? Felt bad about it? Adelaira wished she could peer into the thoughts of man as easily as the emotions of animals came to her. With a final glance in the direction of Lune, Adelaira glanced down, and then leapt in front of the girl. "What are your intentions?" She stated baldly. "Are you a huntress?" Not in those boots... Even without sight, she could tell the boots were ill-suited to the forest.
