stuff about curses!!!

> can be cast by multiple ppl and it's probably done that way 4 big curses majority of the time bc like hexes, if the person who cast the curse dies the curse breaks!

> when it's mentioned, the cursed will auto recite the way to break it or at the least have it come to head. if it's a REALLY REALLY LONG CURSE (which Im assuming a lot of ancient curses are) then this can probably be kind of painful.

> not technically black magic? unsure if reason should be bc the taint is passed onto the cursed or not. thats probs only for REALLY BIG curses though. maybe the world sees it as a form of like....combat magic? or something. like status ailments in pokemon

EDIT: OR THEY'RE TECHNICALLY CLASSIFIED AS ENCHANTMENTS SO ENCHANTERS MIGHT KNOW HOW TO DO A FEW BC CURSED ARTIFACTS DUDE

> a lot of common curses are probably used domestically in the magick world. like moms disciplining kids by putting a curse that makes them not want to touch their games/electronics etc.? might be considered spartan punishment tho. but it's regularized in the same way spanking is? like ITS A ******** BAD THING THAT IS NOT GOOD FOR A CHILD'S HEALTH ESP MENTAL but publicly ppl are like lol its good discipline etc.

maybe some bad factors that happen is that a child disciplined w/ methods like that have weaker mental health and etc.? and maybe either higher or lower resistance to magic that controls ur mind and etc.

longer ones that ppl dont use anymore bc they were considered archaic forms of punishment could be reformed into cute nursery rhymes with darker meanings? Likee curses are all about the regulations and restrictions you set onto someone and the EXACT WORD CHOICE YOU USE WORDS ARE SUPER SUPER IMPORTANT

Drawing along the line of domestic curses, maybe ancestors of huge family lines cursed their family line believing they were doing it for the good of their ancestors (I'm assuming curses were SUPER COMMON in ye old ancient times) and so the whole family is like eh, it's just that annoying thing kooky old grandma put on us. maybe the meaning behind the words over time is lost? Cause like...THEY CANT UNDERSTAND OLD PPL SPEAK so they just kinda learn to deal with it.

family curses could probs either go horribly wrong or just be like a pesky annoyance. Like the family just becomes accustomed to taint and etc. As the line went down the kids would probably become less healthy tho cause I doubt a kid coming from a body that has some taint problems will grow up nice & tall and etc.
