Dysmas gave a soft smile as Sweetie spoke. It was true, they had already lived together before, even built a place of their own. That had been survival though. Now they had all the resources of Telrunya to work with and it wasn't because they had to but because they wanted to. "That's..." Dysmas could hardly contain his excitement when she agreed, all he could do was reach out to her, to pull her into a hug... and then kiss her... and before he let himself get too wrapped up in the heat of the moment he finished his thought. "I'm so excited to do this with you..." There was plenty of details to think about with a decision like this, new homes didn't get built overnight, but he was just happy that they were on the same wave for this.

Sweetie smiled, returning his affection until he pulled away to finish his thought.
"Dysmas, this brings up another... Issue?" The last word was the question rather than the whole statement. "Building a house is a lot of work, and it all starts with planning. We can't do a lot of this in any manner of quick if I'm still traveling back and forth between the tree and here." She chewed her lip. This really was something she had been pondering for a bit, just seeing him distracted her from bringing it up. "I can visit more often, but do you think your mom would mind if I stayed longer each time?"

Issue? Dysmas' eyes widened at her vague use of the word. This could be good or bad... but it mostly sounded bad. "No, you're right..." He paused, sitting up to ponder how his mother would think of this. "I mean, it always seems like she doesn't mind you being here. Maybe even surprised that you don't stay longer..." The water angel narrowed his eyes, shrugging his shoulders. "I don't see it being a problem." Dysmas took Sweetie's hand, holding it tightly. It would probably be a little uncomfortable or awkward... but it would be more motivation on him to finish the project faster. "You'll probably need to go back to the tree to get some things... huh?"

Sweetie smiled, she herself hadn't noticed the behavior in his mother, but she almost always had to leave so soon after arriving. "We should still ask her if she's okay with it..." She offered, trying to think of ways to keep a good relationship with his mother. One of the last things Sweetie wanted to do was offend Trager. It always made for awkward situations when the parents didn't like their children's chosen mates. The more she thought about it, the more she realized there were other things that needed her attentions. And she did need to go get supplies from the tree. That, that could wait. At least until she'd had a nice nap with Dysmas.
"I will have to leave. But not right away. We have time before I have to head back. Nothing important enough to leave and worry about. Just the faucet head." The fauny leaned into him a bit, smiling at the little souvenir of their first meeting. It was that train of thought that brought on the yawns. Was she that tired? Sweetie looked up to Dysmas, wondering if he was as tired as she felt.

Dysmas nodded his head in agreement, taking a deep breath. "Yeah, I know..." He hoped that he was right about how his mother would respond. "Good, I didn't want you to leave right away. I wanted to have you for just a little bit longer. " He smiled softly at her as the yawns began, and being that they were contagious he let loose a yawn as well. She was so beautiful when she was tired, perhaps it seemed that way to him because that was when he first started to fall for her, on that island, curled up with her. As she looked up at him, Dysmas responded, "Come on." He opened his arms up for her, so that she could lay in his arms. This nap together was part of their routine just as much as the kissing was.

Sweetie grinned, happy to see his arms open wide so she could snuggle in. It was the only place she could get good sleep anymore, and the place where she'd realized how much she cared for Dysmas. "Couldn't leave without this first." She mumbled, burying her face into his chest. His skin was so warm, it almost instantly put her to sleep.
"Love you Dysmas" The fauny's words were slurred with the instant sleepy feelings she was fighting. It wasn't long before any response she would have had was utter foolishness coming from a brain entirely asleep.

Dysmas grinned as she sent his heart fluttering in his chest. He couldn't imagine how he got so lucky to have been trapped on an island with her. Dysmas would have never gotten out of his shell enough and over his fears enough to be with someone like this if it wasn't for that. He lightly brushed back a hair from her face, "I love you too Sweetie." Dysmas watched her fall asleep before he let himself slip into the same.
