Roll had woken up from her recharge, gotten dressed and was just tying up her hair when she walked out into one of her Father's many side rooms leading to the kitchen to start on making his breakfast. She paused at the mess she saw, sighed.....and then set about to cleaning. Finished with that she walked into the kitchen calling out, "Father! Morning! Is there anything special you wanted today?"She wanted to talk to him about her brothers, she had yet to tell him that she actually met Blues. That was something she was excited about actually. She planned to tell him today.

Light shuffled out of his room, the circles beneath his eyes telling of another late night spent in the lab. "I would love some coffee if you don't mind, my dear." The doctor smiled as he gently settled himself on a chair. He reminded himself yet again to get a new cushion for the one in his lab. It was akin to sit a stone bench each night yet he still hadn't found the time to go buy a replacement. There was simply too much to do.

Roll nodded, "Of course Father." she set about to making him his cup. Knowing his habits, she made it according to his current condition. The female set it before him and blinked, "Nothing else Father?" if he passed on food now Roll would make sure he made up for it during Lunch. She would hold off on her questions and news for now...

Light smiled up at his little girl, gratefully accepting the cup. "Thank you. Don't put yourself to too much trouble. Just some toast will do." The doctor rubbed at his tired eyes and took a long sip of the dark liquid. It warmed his cold limbs. What was it with getting older and being cold anyways? Perhaps he should invent something to take care of that. The doctor shook his head. He had more than enough projects to work on without adding another. His lab coat and the coffee would keep him warm enough.

Roll beamed as she bustled about making toast, when she set it down she wrapped her arms around her Father's shoulders. She was gentle before pulling away to make sure the kitchen was in order, "So...what are your plans today Father?"Casual conversation...that's what she would start out with. Then she would lead the conversation towards her brothers and drop that she met Blues. Yeah, that sounded like a good plan!

Light patted her arms affectionately as she hugged him. "Oh I just have a few things in the lab to take care of." Things that would probably result in another long night as the hours slipped by unnoticed. "Did you have something planned today, Roll?" The doctor smiled up at her expectantly.

The female nodded, her blond ponytail bouncing in her excitment. "I was going to focus on that building. You remember the one I said I would turn into a clinic?"she glanced back, hoping her Father wouldn't get too nervous, "I wanted to drag Rock out to help. But I don't know where he went..." she sounded sorta down about that, but she was used to her brother being scarce.

Light beamed at his daughter. He was so proud of her for deciding to help the people of this poor rundown city, although he also worried for her safety. Rock. If he were there to help his sister, the doctor wouldn't worry so much but alas he'd been difficult to get a hold of of late. Perhaps he should build some defense bots to keep Wily's minions from the building. The doctor mentally added the project to his to do list. Wily and his bots likely wouldn't notice Roll's effort until it was up and running at the least. "Let me know if there is anything I can do to help, my dear."

Roll shook her head, "No, Father. I'm all right..." she pondered how to tactfully bring up the subject, "I'm sure I can get ahold of Rock or even X if I tried." ...despite the fact that neither of her elder brothers were big on actually replying... Roll repressed the urge to make a face and instead starting making sure the kitchen was clean. It was her domain among other areas and usually was kept in proper order. Or else so help everyone in the lab....oh wait...this was her chance... "Speaking of brothers...remember how you used to tell us stories of the eldest? Blues...." she knew the topic was a sore one for her Father.

For once, the mention of Blues' name didn't evoke sorrow in Light's features. Instead, a smile lit his face. "Ah yes....I've been meaning to tell you, Roll, my dear. Your eldest brother Blues...is alive. I only found out recently myself," he hastened to mention, worried she'd think he was keeping it from her.

Roll looked away from her Father, "W-well....that is Father." she fumbled for the words, "I...I sorta already met Blues."

Roll took a seat in front of her father, twiddling her thumbs; "U-uhm...some time ago...I ran into him without meaning to. And...I sorta met one of the Robot Masters at the same time. Blues helped me." she had a fond smile. She looked up at her Father, "He's really something Father. I think he's the best of the four of us." she gave a small giggle, tilting her head. Inwardly she cringed at her own words as she recalled how forlorn she could recall her Father being when mentions of his firstborn were uttered.

Light's returning smile was fond, if tinged with a bit of sadness as he thought of his eldest boy. "Nonsense. You are all unique in your own ways, none of you better than the other," he assured her. "I'm glad he was there. You weren't harmed were you?" The doctor's tone took on a note of worry at Roll's mention of her encounter with a robot master. He really must start sending some kind of protection with her on these little outings. Perhaps an animal companion of some kind.
