While the Texan Titan was looking to lock horns, it appears that Salem had other ideas. The flying fist out of nowhere staggered the big man, but the veteran used that to his advantage as he rebounded off the ropes and attempted to plow into the MW-Deuce with a big shoulder block.

Salem managed to make Major stumble back a bit, coming out of the corner as the big man bounced off the nearby ropes. Major was stomping towards the smaller man like a stampeding bull, but the M.W. Deuce was as quick on his feet as he was with his thoughts...dropping low to the canvas to try and tangle the big man's ankles with a drop toe hold as he came for the shoulder block!

Well, that was unexpected. The big man was barreling toward his opponent like a runaway freight train when Salem dropped down and tripped Major up with a drop toe hold, sending him crashing to the mat as he fell flat on his face.

Salem got a brief pop from the crowd with his surprising response to Major's attempt, bringing the big man down to the mat face-first! Springing back up to his feet, though, Salem wasn't showing any signs of slowing down - he couldn't afford to - so as a follow-up, the M.W. Deuce looked to land a standing senton onto his prone opponent! If successful, Salem would roll through the maneuver and run towards the ropes with hopes of rebounding with some added energy!

Unfortunately for Salem, Major rolled to the side as his opponent left his feet, leaving nothing to cushion the bump, save for the thin layer of padding that covered the pine boards of the ring mat. Once clear, the big man began to push himself up to a knee, and the irritation and embarrassment he felt was more than a little obvious...as was his desire for retribution.
