xxxxx● ●xxWhat Are Some Potential Plots You'd Like To RP In The Future With Your Colt?: RPs with family, maybe teaching his brothers a new thing. RPs with someone evil to teach him not everyone can be a pure heart. Other Ideas will come to me as I plot out RPs with the others involved.
xxxxx● ●xxWhich Prompt Did You Choose?: PROMPT TWO
xxxxx● ●xxPrompt #: Having shaken off your blanket weeks ago, you're finally old enough to start heading out with your father when he starts his patrols with your other brothers. Varian's decided to take you out to patrol the edge of the Greater Herd Plains, and he tells you how as his son, it will be your duty one day to patrol and protect the Greater Herd.
Suddenly, there's a commotion at the far end of the Plains. Varian turns towards you, and tersely tells you to wait here for him. He tells you that he's trusting you to stay here, and that it is your duty to make sure that the Azrein here are safe while he's away. You look around and see several mares, along with their foals, and nod solemnly at your father. With a cyclone of wind and the snap of his wings, your father soars into the skies and leaves you to protect those in your charge.
Panicked whinnies and cries reach your ears, and you have to make a choice: do you stay here and watch over the mares and their children, or do you head off after your father to help? .
◤xʀᴘ ᴇɴᴛʀʏ ::x◢
xxxxx● ●xxEntry: Finally! Finally he could go with his beloved Father to patrol the Plains. He trotted not at his Father's side...no that side was for his eldest brother to walk. He kept pace with the middle of the aged colts as he felt this was a right position for him. The young colt looked up at all his elder brothers, keeping his giddy whinny to himself. He didn't want to come off as too immature.
The group of stallions came to a stopping point, the young colt looking around before snapping his attention back to his Father. Heeding the elders words the young colt looked over at the mares and their foals. His mind already thinking of small games he could play with the little foals as a means of training them. The young colt again looked back when he heard what could of been his Father's clicking to get his attention. The colt's ear flicked back as he realized that a few of his brothers were looking at him with mirth in their eyes. He nodded that he understood.
Once the commotion starts up however the young colt felt a surge of fear. Wait..where was Father going?!? Oh cripes...the young colt looked back at the mares and the foals. Safe. It was up to him to help keep them safe...he could do that. The colt nodded and looked at his brothers when they heard those terrifying noises. After a talk amongst themselves, the young colt decided to stay as two of his brother went to aid their Father. The young colt circled the mares and the foals three times before a young foal seemed to want to play with the others. The young colt watched before nodding to himself as he trotted up. He shifted the rules a little and turned the game into something he knew the mother's would see as a way for the little ones to pick up on watching their surroundings. He keeps up the game as long as his Father is away....

xxxxx● ●xxColt's Personality: He has a very sweet and kind disposition. He will never raise his voice to another, not unless they did something he deems foul and unkind. Being loyal to those he loves and cares for is a trait he holds in high esteem. He would never do anything that went against his moral code or the ones he cares for most. Going out helping others is something that comes naturally to him, expecting others to follow suit if he needs help from them. He is very much an eye for an eye stallion. You hurt something he loves, he'll hurt something you love. Overall, he simply enjoys being around others and his family.

Loyalties: He questions someones lotalties to their honor and their families.
Avarice: This one is greedy... Greedy beyond all others he has met. He feels he needs to find out why they are like that. Try to correct their inferior views.
High Born: He knows that he is better than most. His breeding will tell anyone as such, but he needs to learn that being high born isn't the only thing in life.
Honesty: He watches as someone commits what he considers and atrocity. Instead of telling someone about it, he drops them hints that he knows what they did. And that they need to come clean on their own.

xxxxx● ●xxEntry: Lael had been enjoying the patroling greatly. Being out with his brothers and getting the chance to fly away from the meadow that they called home was an exciting thing. They had all been stuck in that meadow for far too long in his opinion. He had needed the chance to get out and see the world. See what it was to protect and serve. Not to mention that he couldn't possibly help others without there being any others to go and help.
As they continue on a bit more, there was a rather sudden commotion. It was still a bit far off, but their father immediatley took them down to land. They were brought down near some mares with children of their own. Lael wondered a bit to himself if any of the foals realized what greatness they were in the presence of. He wondered if they would even care really. Shaking his head out of such terrible thoughts, he looked to his father. Varian told him and his brothers that they had to stay put and guard the mares and foals while he went to seek out the noise. Leal personally didn't like that idea, but he complied for the time being. When his father was out of sight, he looked at his siblings and snorted a bit. He was sure that the four of them could handle anything that may come along all on their own. Deciding that made it easier for him to simply fly off after his father and toward the sounds of panic. Perhaps he would be able to help others escape from whatever was upsetting them!
When Lael arrived, he wasn't sure what he saw. Everything seemed to be happening so fast. His father was going up against some Azerin who seemed to want to do bad things to the small cluster of mares and foals that were here. Leal wondered where their stallions could be... How could they simply leave these helpless beings to fend for themselves? Then he remembered that that was what his father was for. And soon himself and his brothers as well.
He didn't want to disrupt his father, especially since he wasn't sure if he himself would be able to fend off any Azerin. They would be bigger than himself simply because he wasn't full grown yet. Instead Lael started to gather up and sneak away any mares and foals he could to safety. It was more important to save them than it was to go right up to his father. After all, the mares and foals were what his father was protecting in the first place. Without them his father would have no reason to be locked in seemingly endless combat with his foes.
When Lael was sure he got all the mares and foals rounded up, he had them follow him. He was going to take them back to where his brothers were waiting. Back to where the other mares and foals were quietly tending to their own children. To where it was safe and the foals would be able to play together without worrying if they were going to be attacked any second.
As he arrived back, he felt triumphant. He felt that he did the right thing. The only thing that his father would have expected from one of his sons. Leal wasn't actually sure if that's how his father would see it at first, but eventually, when he saw all the mares and foals he helped save, he was sure his father would sing his praises. Or at least thank him for getting the helpless ones away to a safe distance.

xxxxx● ●xxColt's Personality: Vahan shares his father's sense of duty...to a certain extent. While he certainly has a great determination to protect his family and the Greater Herd, his adventurous spirit can get in the way of that. He can be reckless at times, even (or especially) when called upon to defend another. In this, he shows a sense of selflessness, as he has no issue putting himself in harms way to protect someone. However, his carelessness is sure to cause worry for his parents; he wants to please them, but it's just so hard to listen sometimes! Perhaps, as he matures, he will become a bit more careful and responsible and put all his boundless energy to good use.

-Vahan likes to explore, much to his mother's worry. Perhaps, despite her warnings, he goes off to explore a human settlement- what experiences might he have there, and how might they shape his feelings for humans? Does he develop the same wariness towards them his mother has?
-Vahan disappoints Varian, likely by failing to perform his duty, not listening to him, etc. How does he react to this?
-In an attempt to protect someone, Vahan endangers himself and perhaps the one who he is trying to defend. Does this make him think twice about his reckless behavior?
- Eventual romance plots.

xxxxx● ●xxPrompt #: A strange Azrein shows up on the edge of the forest glade you and your family call home. Varian tells your mother to stay there while he slinks off quietly, and after several tense minutes, he returns, a grim expression on his face. He speaks quietly to Avari for a few moments -- you hear the word 'Six,' you think -- and your mother hurries over, telling you and your siblings to follow her. She hides you all in a dense patch of thorny briers, and tells you all to stay there, no matter what you see or hear. You and your siblings can hear the strain in her voice, and see the panic in her eyes. She tells you all to stay there until she, your father, or a human with a golden crown come to you. After promising Avari you'll all stay there, she trots quickly back to Varian.
Your parents take off in a thunderous gallop, and you can feel the pure, unadulterated rage radiating from your father: something you've never experienced before. They crash through the dense undergrowth and disappear, but you can hear Varian's enraged bugle, followed by the sound of him yelling at your mother to flee and get the King. You and your siblings sit and listen to the sounds of combat; your father's antler's striking something, a cry of pain, and the receding hoofbeats of your mother as she streaks out of the woods and towards the castle.
How do you react to this sudden situation? Do you stay where you are and keep watch over your siblings? Do you follow your mother, thinking there's a better chance of raising the alarm with two of you? Do you follow the sounds of combat and cries of pain, hoping to help your father fight? Or do you take off on your own?
◤xʀᴘ ᴇɴᴛʀʏ ::x◢
xxxxx● ●xxEntry: "Stay here. You must stay here, no matter what you see or hear, until I, your father, or a human with a golden crown come to you. Promise me!" The words of Vahan's mother words rang in his head as he contemplated what to do. Those sounds... he shivered as the possibilities ran through his mind. He could sense the fear of his siblings as they all huddled close together in the undergrowth. The more he thought, the more he felt something had to be done, despite his mother's orders; what if, after all, their parents were hurt? What if nobody came to get them? Or even worse, what if one of the malicious beings their father was trying to fend off found them? No, he had to act; doing so was the only way to protect his siblings. He turned to them, speaking in an urgent, hushed tone.
Eventually, after some deliberation, a plan was formed. One of his brothers would stay with their sisters; should any come to harm them, he would distract the attacker so the girls could make their escape. His other brother would edge close to the combat, being careful to stay hidden; it would do no good for any so young as them to enter the fray, after all- they'd likely just distract their father. No, this colt would only act as an observer; should something happen to their father or if an enemy approached the hiding place of the others, he would be able to warn them.
Finally, Vahan would follow their mother. His brothers had initially urged him to stay, keeping watch on the side opposite the combat, but he was insistent, for who would protect her? He would never forgive himself if something happened to his mother and he wasn't there to at least try to help her. He knew he wouldn't be able to catch up with her- there was no way a youth such as himself would be able to match the speed of an adult Azrein- but, he could trail behind her, keeping an eye out for any pursuers. Perhaps if he saw any good Azrein along the way, he could alert them too- surely they would go to his father's aid. So he took off, running as fast as his little legs could carry him...
