"I can imagine an ability of that type would have some serious side effects. I suppose great abilities must come with a great cause." Kokunai said pondering the extent of the boys ability during the short silence. "You must have a serious level of control in order to prevent yourself from over exerting yourself." Kokunai said nodding in agreement with his postulation. This boy must be very mature for his age in order to pull of an ability like that. "A blessing and a curse." Son Goku said concluding Kokunai's thoughts for him agreeing with Kokunai's assessment.

╰★ "You hit the nail on the head, Kokunai." he replied, thinking about the side effects that he often had after hallucinating. Headaches, nausea, even passing out. The boy looked back to the Chuunin as he spoke once more. "Ah...Most of the time, Kou usually just takes some pills to avoid the pain from it..It's easier than trying to fight it." Kou explained to him, taking off his little sachet around his waist, putting it on the table. Opening it, he showed Kokunai the multitude of pills within the bag. There were two colors; white and red. "The red ones are for migraines and such, white is to keep Kou awake." he chuckled. "But I don't think you could handle my type of schedule huh? The amount of time you sleep in one night, I may sleep in a week." Kou's coughed lightly into his sleeve. "But my immune system isn't really up to par. The lack of rest leaves my body open to sickness. A normal cold to you may feel like the flu to me. However, I think it's all worth it.."

Kokunai nodded at Kou's statement agreeing that he would not be able to do what Kou does. "I am a taijutsu user so I certainly could not go without sleep and then perform." Kokunai said acknowledging a strength and weakness of his fighting. "So would you care to sit and eat? I'm sure you must eat." Kokunai said knowing the boy would have to eat even with depriving himself of sleep.

╰★ Kou chuckled. "Taijutsu huh?" he repeated after Kokunai. Kou, despite his sluggish appearance was very fast and agile, much like one who would use Taijutsu. But his small and frail body prevented him from doing so. He lifted a brow, thinking about how Kokunai possibly fought in battle. He wouldn't dare challenge him, not before learning more genjutsu first. It wasn't know that Kou was a cocky person, as he wasn't boastful about it, though he was very proud of his power. A thought poke at the back of his mind. He wondered what this boy looked like when he was in pain;suffering. Kou shook the thought from his head, before nodding. "A bite to eat wouldn't be bad." Kou said, yawning as his cloud floated back over to the buffet. The plate the genin made was full of succulent fish of every kind. There was not a trace of anything else, simply, fish. Returning to teh table, Kou stared at Kokunai once more. "Fish is brain food.." he said, beginning his meal. "So enough about Kou. I want to know about Kokunai. "

Kokunai nodded at Kou's statement "Very well, though there isn't much to tell. I am a taijutsu user who can particularly do anything else. I only have one element I can use ninjutsu with but besides that I am rubbish at ninjutsu." Kokunai said pondering the thought as he admired the boys diet. Kokunai was not a huge fish person preferring a turf and turf over the orthodox version. He sipped some of his apple juice before continuing. "I suppose I do have one gift. Though it was given to me by someone very special and I am not sure if he would like me to tell you." Kokunai said of course referring to his demon. He was proud of what was inside of him although most people seemed to be afraid of it.
"You may tell him... This one is not terrible" Goku said inside Kokunai signifying that he liked the boy as much as the demon possibly could.

╰★ Kou munched happily on his fish as the Chunin explained himself. The thought that came to Kou's mind is that, if he bound Kokunai's arms and legs, perhaps the neck, that he'd be helpless. A small smirk came to his lips. Kou had sharp teeth, and for the first time, it showed. He usually kept his mouth closed. Moments later, Kou's faced returned to his calm demeanor. "Ninjutsu isn't your strong point, huh? That goes with most Taijutsu users." he stated, his attention locked on the boy. Could he possibly the one holding the demon of this village? Could that be the someone special? Kou often heard people talk about someone like that in the village...could Kokunai be the one that he'd heard about? The one that the women were afraid of? He didn't look evil.
Kou waited for Kokunai to confirm his thoughts so he could place Kokunai to the picture in his mind. If he really was the holder of the demon, he'd have to think about challenging him later. What a set back...Kou turned his curious eyes back to Kokunai. "Son. Goku." he said bluntly. Yes, he'd heard the name many times while eavesdropping around the village. Kou was very, very good at putting pieces together. The name, the description. It all fit together. His lips curled into a smirk, his sharp teeth showing once more. He couldn't wait until he got stronger. It would be amazing to come into combat with someone like Kokunai. Kou almost bursted in excitement!

Kokunai noted Kou's sharp teeth and smirked, as he did it would reveal elongated canines which should be the nail in the coffin in confirming that Kokunai was in fact the jinchuuriki. He did not mind Kou knowing the boy seemed open minded enough and would certainly find out eventually regardless of Kokunai's efforts so why not tell him now. Kokunai's emerald green eyes watched Kou intently hoping to see his reaction as the suspicions were confirmed.
"You are correct, Son Goku. Does live inside me." Kokunai said with a slight smile. It was obvious Kokunai was grateful for the what lay within him which didn't make much sense to most as they all thought he was a demon just like Son Goku. Though Son Goku was what made Kokunai the proudest. To represent the demon in such a way Kokunai thought it an incredible chance and honor.

╰★ As Kokunai confirmed his guess, Kou began to laugh hardily. His sharp, spiked teeth showed as he did so. How wonderful! One of the first youth he had sat and talked to happened to be the host of Son Goku. Kou's cloud floated up a bit as he stopped laughing, blowing his bang slightly. "I'm quite jealous of you~ Son Goku is a wise one, isn't he? I've heard lots about him." he said, picking up another piece of fish and tearing a part off of it. "I'm sure he hears me..." he said, locking eyes with Kokunai. "I admire your power, Son Goku~" Kou said before returning to his fish. Now he would have to do his best to be better than Kokunai, even though the Chunin was a jinchuuriki.
The blonde rolled his eyes before returning his gaze to Kokunai. He couldn't take his eyes off of him. "I envy you..." he told him, finishing his plate of fish.

Kokunai chuckled when Kou began praising Son Goku, "Yes he is very wise and powerful. Though sometimes a bit too prideful." Kokunai said having finished his plate and now simply sitting and chatting with Kou. "Watch it Kokunai." Son Goku growled a bit being slightly offended by his comment. "Come now Son Goku you do know your pride gets in the way sometimes. We have been together for over ten years now I think I know you well enough to make that assumption." Kokunai mused replying to the beast by using logic the tactic Kokunai always used knowing it was the safest way to win an argument or discuss something Son Goku didn't agree with.
"I am blessed it is true." Kokunai said in reply to Kou saying he was envious. Kokunai had an ability that no one else in the world could have and that was something to be proud of. Kokunai couldn't help but smirk when Kou reminded him of this. "So Kou, perhaps after we finish we could go to the kage and request a mission.... I haven't seen another young shinobi around to ask to team up with but now that you are here we have all we need for a squad." Kokunai said hoping Kou would accept. Kokunai never had a teammate and knew that most of the genin were scared of him but Kou wasn't! So how could Kokunai resist asking Kou to join him?

╰★Kou was still i n awe. He had so much respect for Kokunai.now. he He had to be strong in order to hold a Demon like Son Goku. He was amazing. Kou looked at Kokunai curiously as he suggested they go to the Kage together to request a mission. Out of happiness, Kou's cloud gave off a thunder strike, hitting and scorching a small piece of the ground under him. "Kokunai wants Kou to join him?" Kou asked hastily. He nodded his head in a rush. "Of course! This way, Kou can earn money to buy himself a ninja animal!" He almost yelled in the restaurant. Kou desperately wanted a pet to keep him company. Probably an animal that doesn't sleep much. His mind ran wild as he thought about it.

Kokunai chuckled once again at Kou's random excitement what a curious boy. "This one is so odd I do not know if he is annoying or interesting." Son Goku said with a say hesitant as to whether or not he could tolerate the boys manic behavior. "Well I like him." Kokunai thought with a light hearted smile as he rose from the table. "It is decided then." Kokunai said looking upon Kou with a nod of his head. "After you and we shall head off to get a mission to earn money for a ninja animal." Kokunai said awaiting Kou to leave so that he could follow to the kages office to request a mission.
